A gas-filled type of recoil separator for heavy element research was installed at an experimental hall of RIKEN Linear Accelerator facility to realize getting higher intensity of primary beam and long beam time. Performance of the separator was studied using target recoils and various nuclear reactions. The results show the high performance of the separator for heave element research. As an application of the GARIS, production and identification of an isotope of the 110th element 271[110] have been performed using the 208Pb(64Ni,1n)271[110] reaction. Three decay chains coincide well both in decay times and energies with the ones reported by the group of SHIP experiment at GSI, Germany. Our results provide a confirmation of the synthesis of an isotope 271[110] of element 110.  相似文献

Supramolecular nanotube hosts with precisely controlled inner or outer diameters have been synthesized by self-assembly of unsymmetrical bolaamphiphilic monomers or glucopyranosylamide lipids, respectively. Time-resolved fluorescent measurement using 8-anilinonaphthalene-1-sulfonate (ANS) as a probe revealed that the water confined in a cardanyl-β-D -glucopyranoside lipid nanotube has relatively lower solvent polarity corresponding to that of propanol than bulk water. Extensively developed hydrogen bond networks also characterize the confined water in comparison to the case in bulk water. Encapsulation ability of the glucopyranosylamide lipid nanotube has been examined by filling the lyophilized LNTs with gold or silver nanoparticles, ferritin, or magnetic crystals. Filling the unsymmetrical bolaamphiphile nanotube possessing positively charged inner surfaces with negatively charged polymer beads or ferritin proved to be successful without depending on capillary action. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A formal synthesis of the antimicrobial tricyclic macrolides, tubelactomicins A and E, featured by a transannular Diels-Alder (TADA) approach, has been explored. The key issue for the transannular cyclization was the synthesis of a 24-membered macrolactone equipped with all the requisite functionalities, which has been achieved using an intramolecular Hiyama cross-coupling strategy. The Hiyama coupling reaction spontaneously triggered off the TADA reaction. From the endo-TADA adduct, formal syntheses of tubelactomicins A and E were achieved. The 24-membered macrolactone formation was also achieved via an intramolecular ring-closing metathesis approach.  相似文献

Spectroscopic and excited-state properties of tri-9-anthrylborane (TAB), showing unique absorption and fluorescence characteristics originating from p(boron)-pi(anthryl group) orbital interactions, were studied in 12 solvents. Although the absorption maximum energy (nu(a)) of TAB which appeared at around 21 x 10(3) cm(-1) (band I) was almost independent of the solvent polarity parameter, f(X) (f(X) = (D(s) - 1)/(2D(s) + 1) - (n(2) - 1)/(2n(2) + 1) where D(s) and n represent the static dielectric constant and the refractive index of a solvent, respectively), the fluorescence maximum energy (nu(f)) showed a linear correlation with f(X). The f(X) dependence of the value of nu(a) - nu(f) demonstrated that the change in the dipole moment of TAB upon light excitation was approximately 8.0 D, indicating that absorption band I was ascribed to an intramolecular charge-transfer transition in nature. The excited electron of TAB was thus concluded to localize primarily on the p orbital of the boron atom. Furthermore, it was shown that the fluorescence lifetime and quantum yield of TAB varied from 11.8 to 1.1 ns and from 0.41 to 0.02, respectively, with an increase in f(X). The present results indicated that the nonradiative decay rate constant (k(nr)) of TAB was influenced significantly by f(X). Excited-state decay of TAB was understood by intramolecular back-electron (charge) transfer from the p orbital of the boron atom to the pi orbital of the anthryl group, which was discussed in terms of the energy gap dependence of k(nr). Specific solvent interactions of TAB revealed by the present spectroscopic and photophysical studies are also discussed.  相似文献

Four long-chain phenyl glucoside amphiphiles possessing a saturated or unsaturated long alkyl chain group as the self-assembling unit of a highly organized molecular architecture were synthesized. Their self-assembling properties were investigated by EF-TEM, SEM, CD, FT-IR, and XRD. Compound 2 possessing one double bond in the lipophilic portion showed twisted helical fibers, which formed a bilayered structure with a 3.59 nm period, while compound 3 showed the helical ribbons and left-handed nanotubular structures with 150-200 nm inner diameters and ca. 20 nm of wall. Very interestingly, compound 4 possessing three double bonds showed a nanotubular structure with ca. 70 nm of inner diameter through a helical ribbon, which formed a loose bilayered structure with 4.62 nm. These results indicate that self-assembling properties strongly depend on the number of cis double bonds.  相似文献

Photoluminescence (PL) intermittency characteristics are examined for single quantum dots (QDs) in a CdSe QD sample synthesized at a slow rate at 75 degrees C. Although the PL quantum efficiency was relatively low ( approximately 0.25), we noticed that the PL intensity of single CdSe QDs fluctuated on a subsecond time scale with short-lived "on" and "off" states. The subsecond PL intensity fluctuations of CdSe QDs are different from "on" and "off" PL blinking generally observed for QDs fluctuating on a millisecond to minute time scale. We characterized single QDs by identifying polarized excitations, topographic imaging using atomic force microscopy (AFM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). From analysis of the PL intensity trajectories from >100 single CdSe QDs, the average intermittency time was 213 ms. From the PL quantum efficiency, slow growth of QDs, intensity trajectory analyses, and previous reports relating surface trap states and PL properties of QDs, we attribute the subsecond PL intensity fluctuations of single CdSe QDs and short-lived "on" and "off" states to a high-density distribution of homogeneous surface trap states.  相似文献

A coulometric method was developed for the determination of microamounts of sulphur in iron and steel. Hydrogen sulphide is quantitatively evolved by reduction with iron(II) in strong phosphoric acid medium and is titrated with electrolytically generated silver ion from a silver anode. Microamounts of sulphide (2.96–224.3 μg) in sodium sulphide standard solutions could be determined with an error of only a few percent. Sulphur in a potassium sulphate standard solution is quantitatively reduced to hydrogen sulphide and could be separated from the solution by heating and determined accurately. Trace amounts of sulphur (7–100 μg g?1) in iron and steels could be determined with a standard deviation of 0.7–2.1 μg g?1.  相似文献

A series of glucopyranosylamide lipids, N-(X-octadecenoyl)-beta-D-glucopyranosylamine [X = 13-cis (1), 11-cis (2), 9-cis (3), 6-cis (4), and 9-cis,12-cis (5)] and their saturated homologue N-octadecanoyl-beta-d-glucopyranosylamine (6), which differ in the position of a cis double bond in the C18 hydrocarbon chains, have been synthesized. The effect of the cis double bond position on the chiral self-assembly of each glycolipid has been examined by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, UV, and circular dichroism (CD). The 11-cis derivative 2 was observed to self-assemble in water to form a uniform hollow cylinder structure with about 200-nm outer diameters in >98% yields. The obtained nanotubes from 2 showed the narrowest distribution of outer diameters and also gave a negative CD band around 234-236 nm, showing the largest CD intensity among the glycolipids investigated. Thus, we found that the position of a cis double bond significantly influences the homogeneity of the outer diameters as well as growth behavior of the self-assembled nanotube structures. Chiral molecular packing driven by a possible bending structure of the unsaturated glycolipids is playing a critical role in determining tubular morphology through molecular self-assembly.  相似文献
