The influence of steric repulsion between the NMe2 group and a second ortho-(peri-)substituent in the series of 1-dimethylaminonaphthalene and N,N-dimethylanilene ortho-oximes on the ease of the NMe2 group’s intramolecular nucleophilic substitution is studied. Possible reaction intermediates for three mechanisms are calculated (ωB97xd/def-2-TZVP), and their free Gibbs energies are compared to model reaction profiles. Supporting experiments have proved the absence of studied reactivity in the case of simple 2-dimethylaminobenzaldoxime, which allowed us to establish reactivity limits. The significant facilitation of NMe2 group displacement in the presence of bulky substituents is demonstrated. The possibility of fused isoxazoles synthesis via the intramolecular nucleophilic substitution of a protonated NMe2 group in the aniline and naphthalene series is predicted. 相似文献

Experiments with stretching moderately concentrated polymer solutions have been carried out. Model experiments were carried out for poly(acrylonitrile) solutions in dimethyl siloxane. Just the choice of concentrated solutions allowed for a clear demonstration of a demixing effect with the formation of two separate phases—an oriented polymer fiber and solvent drops sitting on its surface. An original experimental device for following all subsequent stages in the demixing process was built. It combined two light beams, one transverse to the fiber and a second directed along (inside) the fiber, the latter played the role of an optical line. This gives a unique opportunity to observe processes occurring inside a fiber. The process of demixing starts from the volume phase separation across the whole cross section of a fiber at some critical deformation and the propagation of the front of demixing along the fiber. Then a solvent cylindrical skin appears which transforms into a system of separate droplets. New experimental data are discussed based on a comparison of the current different points of view on the phenomenon of deformation‐induced phase separation: thermodynamic shift of the equilibrium phase transition temperature, growth of stress‐induced concentration fluctuations in two‐component fluids, and mechanically pressing a solvent out from a polymer network. The general belief is that a rather specific (so‐called “beads‐on‐a‐string”) structure of a filament is realized in stretching dilute solutions: beads of a polymer solution connected by oriented polymer bridges forming a single object. The situation in stretching moderately concentrated solutions appears quite different: real phase separation was observed. The effect of angles of attack in the interval 0 40° on the flow pattern and the aerodynamic characteristics of a body of power-law shape (equation of the generator in the cylindrical coordinate system r=zn, n=0.125) is investigated for supersonic flow without injection and with intense subsonic localized injection from the surface. As a result of numerical calculations it is established that the use of Newton's theory for determining the coordinates of the gas stagnation point behind the shock in flow past an impermeable body of the shape in question leads to serious errors, and an expression for determining the location of this point is given. It is shown that for three-dimensional flow the flow pattern and the surface pressure distribution are sharply different from the case=0. The discrete component in the noise spectrum of an inefficient supersonic stream flowing into a flooded space is studied experimentally. The effect of a discrete tone on the average parameters of the initial and main portions of the stream is examined. It is found that the lengthl

In longitudinal supersonic flow over spiked cylinders nonsteady regimes can occur in which a separation zone is periodically generated at the spike, grows vigorously in size, and then vanishes. Several authors [1–6] have investigated the physical pattern of flow with separation zone fluctuations (using shadowgraphs) and have determined the boundaries of existence of the nonsteady regime as a function of the ratio between the spike length and diameter of the cylinder. The authors, however, did not systematically study the dependence of the pulsation frequency on the freestream Mach and Reynolds numbers or on the relative diameter and tip angle of the spike. We have undertaken such an investigation. We are concerned primarily with the influence of the dimensionless parameters on the Strouhal number Sh of the separation zone pulsations at a spike attached to the front of a flat-ended cylinder. Earlier investigations [4–6] have been carried out using motion pictures with film speeds up to 32·103 frames/sec. In the present study we used high-speed motion pictures with a speed of 6.25· 105 frames/sec.
