An efficient, ligand- and metal-oxidant-free, one-pot, cascade aerobic oxidative, palladium-catalyzed, multicomponent reaction has been developed through isocyanide insertion of less active secondary amide and aromatic amine, which leads to 2-amino-substituted-4(3H)-quinazolinones. This approach proves to be one of the simplest methods for the synthesis of this class of valuable bioactive heterocyclic scaffolds.  相似文献

Based on our analysis of the contributions from the connected and disconnected contraction diagrams to the pion-kaon scattering amplitude, we provide the first determination of the only free low-energy constant at ${ \mathcal O }({p}^{4})$, known as ${L}_{0}^{r}$, in SU (4∣1) Partially-Quenched Chiral Perturbation theory using the data from the Extended Twisted Mass collaboration, ${L}_{0}^{r}(\mu ={M}_{\rho })=0.77(20)(25)(7)(7)(2)\cdot {10}^{-3}$. The theory uncertainties originate from the unphysical scattering length, the physical low-energy constants, the higher-order chiral corrections, the (lattice) meson masses and the pion decay constant, respectively.  相似文献

We describe the covalent modification of the edges of laponite with organic groups and the influence of this modification on gelation behavior. We compare three materials: an unmodified laponite, a laponite edge modified with a trimethyl moiety (MLap), and an octyldimethyl moiety (OLap). Gelation is investigated using rheology and NMR T1 relaxation measurements and nuclear Overhauser enhancement spectroscopy (NOESY). MLap and OLap show qualitatively different gelation. Gelation of MLap is very similar to laponite: MLap gels over the same time scale as laponite and has about the same solid modulus, and the MLap gel is almost as transparent as laponite. In contrast, OLap gels rapidly relative to laponite and forms a weak, turbid gel. We believe that gelation in laponite and MLap results from the formation of a network of well-dispersed platelets (or a few platelets), while in OLap, gelation results from a network of stacks of several platelets. NMR relaxation measurements indicate that gelation does not affect the average relaxation of water protons. However, T1 increases marginally for the protons in the organic moieties in MLap and decreases for protons in the organic moieties in OLap. Relaxation measurements, analyses of line width, and NOESY taken together suggest that, in OLap, gelation is a consequence of association of the organic moieties on the laponite edges, and that this association strengthens with time. Thus, the time-dependent changes in NMR suggest a structural origin for the time-dependent changes in the rheological behavior.  相似文献

It is of immense interest to exert spatial and temporal control of chemical reactions. It is now demonstrated that irradiation can trigger reactions specifically at the surface of a simple colloidal construct, obtained by adsorbing polyethyleneimine on fluorescent colloidal particles. Exciting the fluorescent dye in the colloid affords photoinduced electron transfer to spatially proximal amine groups on the adsorbed polymer to form free radical ions. It is demonstrated that these can be harnessed to polymerize acrylic acid monomer at the particle surface, or to break up colloidal assemblies by cleaving a cross‐linked polymer mesh. Formation of free radical ions is not a function of the size of the colloid, neither is it restricted to a specific fluorophore. Fluorophores with redox potentials that allow photoinduced electron transfer with amine groups show formation of free radical ions.  相似文献

In view of obtaining some potential antimicrobial compounds, we have described synthesis of novel fluoroquinolones bearing 2‐(piperidin‐4‐yl)‐1H‐benzo[d]imidazole and evaluated for their antimicrobial activity. Alternatively, synthesis of these products was also demonstrated using microwave irradiation technique. The antimicrobial activity of newly synthesized compounds was evaluated against number of microorganisms and the activity is compared with highly active levofloxacin.  相似文献

Monte Carlo simulations show that copolymers with uniformly (or periodically) distributed sticky comonomers collapse "cooperatively," abruptly forming a compact intermediate comprising a monomer shell surrounding a core of the aggregated comonomers. In comparison, random copolymers collapse through a relatively less-compact intermediate comprising a comonomer core surrounded by a fluffy monomer shell that densifies over a wide temperature range. This difference between the collapse pathways for random and uniform copolymers persists to higher chain lengths, where uniform copolymers tend to form multiple comonomer cores. In this paper, we describe the formation of such an intermediate state, and the subsequent collapse, by recognizing that these arise from the expected balance between comonomer aggregation enthalpy and loop formation entropy dictated by the chain microstructure.  相似文献

Functional soft interfaces are of interest for a variety of technologies. We describe three methods for preparing substrates with alkyne groups, which show versatility for "click" chemistry reactions. Two of the methods have the same root: formation of thin, covalently attached, reactive interfacial layers of poly(glycidyl methacrylate) (PGMA) via spin coating onto silicon wafers followed by reactive modification with either propargylamine or 5-hexynoic acid. The amine or the carboxylic acid moieties react with the epoxy groups of PGMA, creating interfacial polymer layers decorated with alkyne groups. The third method consists of using copolymers comprising glycidyl methacrylate and propargyl methacrylate (pGP). The pGP copolymers are spin coated and covalently attached on silicon wafers. For each method, we investigate the factors that control film thickness and content of alkyne groups using ellipsometry, and study the nanophase structure of the films using neutron reflectometry. Azide-terminated polymers of methacrylic acid and 2-vinyl-4,4-dimethylazlactone synthesized via reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer polymerization were attached to the alkyne-modified substrates using "click" chemistry, and grafting densities in the range of 0.007-0.95 chains nm(-2) were attained. The maximum density of alkyne groups attained by functionalization of PGMA with propargylamine or 5-hexynoic acid was approximately 2 alkynes nm(-3). The alkyne content obtained by the three decorating approaches was sufficiently high that it was not the limiting factor for the click reaction of azide-capped polymers.  相似文献

Spatial dependencies of monomer volume fraction profiles of pH responsive polyelectrolyte brushes were investigated using field theories and neutron reflectivity experiments. In particular, planar polyelectrolyte brushes in good solvent were studied and direct comparisons between predictions of the theories and experimental measurements are presented. The comparisons between the theories and the experimental data reveal that solvent entropy and ion‐pairs resulting from adsorption of counterions from the added salt play key roles in affecting the monomer distribution and must be taken into account in modeling polyelectrolyte brushes. Furthermore, the utility of this physics‐based approach based on these theories for the prediction and interpretation of neutron reflectivity profiles in the context of pH responsive planar polyelectrolyte brushes such as polybasic poly(2‐(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate) (PDMAEMA) and polyacidic poly(methacrylic acid) (PMAA) brushes is demonstrated. The approach provides a quantitative way of estimating molecular weights of the polymers polymerized using surface‐initiated atom transfer radical polymerization. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. A simple and efficient strategy for the selective modification of the peptide N terminus with an unnatural amino acid is described. A peptide having a SUMO-HisTag-TEV sequence (SUMO: small ubiquitin-related modifier, TEV: tobacco etch virus) preceding the N terminus of the target peptide was designed. Recombinant expression in E. coli and subsequent SUMO protease cleavage yielded the HisTag-TEV-target peptide. Partial protection of the lysine side chains of this peptide with d -glucopyranosyloxycarbonyl and removal of the HisTag-TEV sequence by TEV protease yielded the partially protected peptide with a free N-terminal amine. Coupling of selenocysteine selectively at the N terminus and subsequent acidic deprotection of the carbohydrate protecting groups yielded a modified peptide that can be used for native chemical ligation (NCL). As a proof of concept, the modification of a longer recombinant peptide with selenocysteinylserine (GalNAc) at the N terminus was demonstrated.  相似文献
