The catalytic properties of Fe-ZSM-5 zeolites with different iron contents have been investigated in the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO x with ammonia. The observed catalytic properties the zeolites are correlated with the concentration of the iron-containing sites that are stabilized in the zeolite and effect N2O decomposition (??-sites). The catalysts activated at a high temperature to increase the ??-site concentration (by a factor of 5?C10) are more active in NO x SCR with ammonia than the unactivated samples. However, the difference between the activities of the activated and unactivated catalysts is well below the difference between the ??-site concentrations in these catalysts. The nonlinear relationship between these parameters is evidence that the ??-sites in Fe-ZSM-5 is not the only factor determining the activity of Fe-ZSM-5 in NO x SCR with ammonia. The activated catalysts show a low activity in nonselective ammonia oxidation and, accordingly, a high selectivity in the target process at high temperatures.  相似文献

The single‐step syngas‐to‐dimethyl ether (STD) process entails economic and technical advantages over the current industrial two‐step process. Pd/ZnO‐based catalysts have recently emerged as interesting alternatives to currently used Cu/ZnO/Al2O3 catalysts, but the nature of the active site(s), the reaction mechanism, and the role of Pd and ZnO in the solid catalyst are not well established. Now, Zn‐stabilized Pd colloids with a size of 2 nm served as the key building blocks for the methanol active component in bifunctional Pd/ZnO‐γ‐Al2O3 catalysts. The catalysts were characterized by combining high‐pressure operando X‐ray absorption spectroscopy and DFT calculations. The enhanced stability, longevity, and high dimethyl ether selectivity observed makes Pd/ZnO‐γ‐Al2O3 an effective alternative system for the STD process compared to Cu/ZnO/γ‐Al2O3.  相似文献

New R 2Ti3Ge4 (R=Dy, Ho and Er) intermetallic compounds have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction and low temperature ac magnetic susceptibility, electrical resistivity and thermoelectric power measurements were carried out. The compounds crystallize in the parent, Sm5Ge4-type orthorhombic structure (space group Pnma) and lanthanide contraction is observed as one moves along the rare-earth series. The changeover from paramagnetic to antiferromagnetic phase happens at low temperatures and the ordering temperature scales with the de Gennes factor. The electrical resistivity is metallic with a negative curvature above 100 K. Thermopower displays a weak maximum at temperatures less than 50 K signifying the possible phonon and magnon drag effects.  相似文献

Resonant ultrasound spectroscopy was used to measure the elastic constants of bcc Ta0.33V0.67 over the temperature range 3.5–300?K; the results were compared to earlier measurements on C15 TaV2. The temperature dependence of the polycrystalline shear modulus is completely different in the two phases; that of the bcc phase decreases with temperature whereas that of the C15 phases increases in an anomalous fashion. This difference is consistent with a model involving doubly-degenerate levels at the X point of the Brillouin zone in the C15 phase with the Fermi level lying near the doubly degenerate level. This model accounted for the unusual behaviour of the C15 phase. Debye temperatures were determined from the ultrasonic measurements: 295?K for the C15 phase and 315?K for the bcc phase.  相似文献

We report the development of a 10?GHz repetition rate all-fiber integrated femtosecond source tunable around 1.55?μm. A phase modulator and sharp spectral filter are used to convert the output of a tunable CW diode to a 10?GHz pulse train. These pulses are compressed using Raman soliton adiabatic compression in a 21?km long length of fiber to generate sub-300-fs duration pulses at a 10?GHz repetition rate. By tuning the wavelength of the diode and appropriate filtering, similar performance was achieved over a 20?nm bandwidth.  相似文献
