Early time electron-positron correlation in vacuum pair-production in an external field is investigated. The entangled electron and positron wave functions are obtained analytically in the configuration and momentum spaces. It is shown that, relative to that of the one-dimensional theory, two- and three-dimensional calculations yield enhanced spatial correlation and broadened momentum spectra. In fact, at early times the electron and positron almost coincide spatially. The correlation also depends on the direction of the applied field. For the spatial correlation, the transverse correlation is stronger than the longitudinal correlation.  相似文献

The steady state formed by the diffusion of plasma particles in an inhomogeneous dusty plasma is investigated theoretically and compared with our previous experimental results [Nucl.Fusion Plasma Phys.20(2000)180 (in Chinese);Phys.Plasmas 8(2001)1459].The negatively charged dust grains with an average charge number of the order of 10^5 on a single grain enhance the plasma inhomogeneity by decreasing the diffusion velocity,and can cause significant depletion of electrons.The theoretical electron density profile is in good agreement with the experiment,and the theoretical profile of the electron-to-ion density ratio is in reasonable agreement with experimentally estimated data.  相似文献

在外部势场和初始空间局部有限振幅脉冲给定的情况下,基于二维广义非线性薛定谔方程i?tE+p▽2E+[V(x,y)+q|E|2]E=0,研究了波的不稳定性随时间的演化。波的不稳定性演化主要依赖于方程里的群色散系数p=pr+ipi和非线性系数q=qr+iqi,数值结果发现系统会出现调制不稳定性、波坍缩、逆级联以及整个空间的湍流态。当p=3.5+0.5i,q=8.0+0.9i时,数值结果发现系统在出现部分逆级联之后波场的能量主要聚集在波矢量k空间中半径|k|≥100的短波区域,同时形成了以区域中心为圆心,半径|k|≈100的圆形相对稳定区域。当粘性阻尼系数pi在[0.1,1.0]时,数值结果发现产生逆级联的部分区域随着pi(<1.1)的不断增大而逐渐缩小,相对稳定的圆域半径从零开始逐渐增大。因此,粘性系数pi相当于系统中的一个调节开关,调整它在一定范围(pi<...  相似文献

Evolution of the charged grains in a two-dimensional dusty plasma under a spatially harmonic external force,in particular,their long-time behaviors after the force has been withdrawn,is studied by using molecular dynamics simulation.Under an external force and a grain–grain interaction force,initially homogeneously distributed grains can reach a quasistationary state in the form of a disk crystal.After the external force is withdrawn,the disk moves initially with its size and shape nearly unchanged until it rapidly stops moving,and eventually the disk grain rotates like a vortex.The time needed to reach the final state increases with the strength of the initial external force increasing.  相似文献

The effect of inner-surface roughness of conical targets on the generation of fast electrons in the laser-cone interaction is investigated using particle-in-cell simulation. It is found that the surface roughness can reduce the fast-electron number (in the energy range E 〉 1 MeV) and energy, as compared to that from a cone with smooth inner wall. A scaling law for the laser reflectivity based on the vacuum-heating model is derived. Both theory and simulation indicate that laser reflection increases with the height-to-width ratio of the periodic inner surface structure and approaches that of a smooth cone as this ratio becomes zero.  相似文献

An optimizing scheme for electron acceleration in the wake bubble with dense-plasma wall driven by an ultraintense laser pulse is presented and investigated by particle-in-cell simulation. The wall has an inner diameter matching the expected lateral bubble size. The bubble shape can be transversely controlled and longitudinally shrunk. The accelerated electrons as a bunch have a high quality because the electrons almost stay close to the bottom of the bubble and are accelerated to much high energy with narrow energy spread.  相似文献
