A series of accidents caused by crowds within the last decades evoked a lot of scientific interest in modeling the movement of pedestrian crowds. Based on the discrete element method, a granular dynamic model, in which the human body is simplified as a self-driven sphere, is proposed to simulate the characteristics of crowd flow through an exit. In this model, the repulsive force among people is considered to have an anisotropic feature, and the physical contact force due to body deformation is quantified by the Hertz contact model. The movement of the human body is simulated by applying the second Newton's law. The crowd flow through an exit at different desired velocities is studied and simulation results indicated that crowd flow exhibits three distinct states, i.e., smooth state, transition state and phase separation state. In the simulation, the clogging phenomenon occurs more easily when the desired velocity is high and the exit may as a result be totally blocked at a desired velocity of 1.6 m/s or above, leading to faster-to-frozen effect.  相似文献

通过原位聚合法制备了本质阻燃聚苯乙烯[P(St-co-AEPPA)]/有机改性蒙脱土(OMMT)纳米复合物[P(St-co-AEPPA)/OMMT], 并用普通聚苯乙烯/有机改性蒙脱土(PS/OMMT)复合物作为对比实验, 研究了含磷、氮单体丙烯酸羟乙基-苯氧基-二乙基磷酰胺(AEPPA)和OMMT等添加物对本质阻燃聚苯乙烯性能的影响.用X射线衍射仪(XRD)和透射电子显微镜(TEM)分析了复合材料的结构与形貌, 并对OMMT在基体中的分散机理进行了讨论.用差示扫描量热仪(DSC)、热重分析(TGA)和微型量热仪(MCC)研究了材料的热性能和燃烧性能.结果表明, AEPPA和OMMT能够显著提高基体的热稳定性和阻燃性.  相似文献

Ramps and sloping roads appear everywhere in the built environment. It is obvious that the movement pattern of people in the sloping path may be different as compared with the pattern on level roads. Previously, most of the studies, especially the mathematical and simulation models, on pedestrian movement consider the flow at level routes.This study proposes a new lattice model for bidirectional pedestrian flow on gradient road. The stability condition is obtained by using linear stability theory. The nonlinear analysis method is employed to derive the modified Korteweg-de Vries(mKdV) equation, and the space of pedestrian flow is divided into three regions: the stable region, the metastable region, and the unstable region respectively. Furthermore, the time-dependent Ginzburg–Landan(TDGL) equation is deduced and solved through the reductive perturbation method. Finally, we present detailed results obtained from the model, and it is found that the stability of the model is enhanced in uphill situation while reduced in downhill situation with increasing slope.  相似文献

This paper focuses on a two-dimensional bidirectional pedestrian flow model which involves the next-nearest-neighbor effect. The stability condition and the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation are derived to describe the density wave of pedestrian congestion by linear stability and nonlinear analysis. To further investigate car-following behaviors in the cooperative adaptive cruise control(CACC) strategy,a comprehensive control system which can handle three traffic conditions to guarantee driving efficiency and safety is designed by using three CACC models.In this control system,some vital comprehensive information,such as multiple preceding cars' speed differences and headway,variable safety distance(VSD) and time-delay effect on the traffic current and the jamming transition have been investigated via analytical or numerical methods.Local and string stability criterion for the velocity control(VC) model and gap control(GC) model are derived via linear stability theory.Numerical simulations are conducted to study the performance of the simulated traffic flow.The simulation results show that the VC model and GC model can improve driving efficiency and suppress traffic congestion.  相似文献

A thermodynamic theory is formulated to describe the phase transition and critical phenomena in pedestrian flow. Based on the extended lattice hydrodynamic pedestrian model taking the interaction of the next-nearest-neighbor persons into account, the time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau (TDGL) equation is derived to describe the pedestrian flow near the critical point through the nonlinear analysis method. The corresponding two solutions, the uniform and the kink solutions, are given. The coexisting curve, spinodal line, and critical point are obtained by the first and second derivatives of the thermodynamic potential.  相似文献

In light of previous work [Phys. Rev. E 60 4000 (1999)], a modified coupled-map car-following model is proposed by considering the headways of two successive vehicles in front of a considered vehicle described by the optimal velocity function. The non-jam conditions are given on the basis of control theory. Through simulation, we find that our model can exhibit a better effect as p = 0.65, which is a parameter in the optimal velocity function. The control scheme, which was proposed by Zhao and Gao, is introduced into the modified model and the feedback gain range is determined. In addition, a modified control method is applied to a mixed traffic system that consists of two types of vehicle. The range of gains is also obtained by theoretical analysis. Comparisons between our method and that of Zhao and Gao are carried out, and the corresponding numerical simulation results demonstrate that the temporal behavior of traffic flow obtained using our method is better than that proposed by Zhao and Gao in mixed traffic systems.  相似文献
