Azaperone, with anti-anxiety and anti-aggressive activities used in veterinary medicine, is a member of the butyrophenone class. It is ordinarily utilized for a wide range of indications, such as sedation, obstetrics, and anesthesia. In this research, an improved synthetic route is presented for azaperone using a phase-transfer catalyst(PTC). In general, it was synthesized as a dopamine antagonist in four steps. The bis(2-chloroethyl) amine intermediate is easily obtained after the conversion of the alcohol groups into the chloride leaving group using thionyl chloride(95% yields). The alkylation of commercially available 2-amino pyridine in the presence of PTC was then carried out, giving 1-(pyridin-2-yl) piperazine with 75% yield. 1-(Pyridin-2-yl) piperazine was finally alkylated using 4-chloro-1-(4-fluorophenyl) butan-1-one to achieve azaperone with 60% yield. The butyrophenone intermediate was obtained via the Friedel-Crafts reaction of fluorobenzene with 4-chlorobutyryl chloride in the presence of AlCl3. High efficiency, gentle reaction conditions, and fast and simple procedure are the advantages of this method. Also, the electrochemical oxidation behaviour of azaperone was investigated using cyclic and differential pulse voltammetry techniques. Cyclic voltammetric studies indicated an irreversible process for azaperone electro-oxidation with a peak potential of 0.78 V in a phosphate buffer solution(pH=7.0) vs. Ag/AgCl(saturated KCl) electrode. The value of the peak current vs. the azaperone concentration was enhanced linearly in the range of 10―70 μmol/L, and the detection limit was found to be 3.33 μmol/L. 相似文献

In this paper, the finite element method with new spherical Hankel shape functions is developed for simulating 2‐dimensional incompressible viscous fluid problems. In order to approximate the hydrodynamic variables, the finite element method based on new shape functions is reformulated. The governing equations are the Navier‐Stokes equations solved by the finite element method with the classic Lagrange and spherical Hankel shape functions. The new shape functions are derived using the first and second kinds of Bessel functions. In addition, these functions have properties such as piecewise continuity. For the enrichment of Hankel radial basis functions, polynomial terms are added to the functional expansion that only employs spherical Hankel radial basis functions in the approximation. In addition, the participation of spherical Bessel function fields has enhanced the robustness and efficiency of the interpolation. To demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of these shape functions, 4 benchmark tests in fluid mechanics are considered. Then, the present model results are compared with the classic finite element results and available analytical and numerical solutions. Electronic circular dichroism and circularly polarized luminescence acid/base switching activity has been demonstrated in helicene‐bipyridine proligand 1 a and in its “rollover” cycloplatinated derivative 2 a . Whereas proligand 1 a displays a strong bathochromic shift (>160 nm) of the nonpolarized and circularly polarized luminescence upon protonation, complex 2 a displays slightly stronger emission. This strikingly different behavior between singlet emission in the organic helicene and triplet emission in the organometallic derivative has been rationalized by using quantum‐chemical calculations. The very large bathochromic shift of the emission observed upon protonation of azahelicene‐bipyridine 1 a has been attributed to the decrease in aromaticity (promoting a charge‐transfer‐type transition rather than a π–π* transition) as well as an increase in the HOMO–LUMO character of the transition and stabilization of the LUMO level upon protonation. 相似文献

A comparative study of oxidation of phenol, 3-chlorophenol, 4-chlorophenol, and 2,4-dichlorophenol on Pt/Ti and Ce,Pt/Ti electrocatalysts is performed via cyclic voltammetry. It is shown that the surface morphology and roughness of the anode do not change after modification with cerium. The formal kinetic orders of electrooxidation of all compounds are found to be less than one. It is shown that the β temperature coefficients of the rate of oxidation of chlorophenols grow by 10 to 50% when the Ce,Pt/Ti anode is used at a substrate concentration of 1 mM. A tenfold increase in concentration reduces the effect of cerium additive, except for 3-chlorophenol: the latter exhibits a 250% increase in the β value, compared to the Pt/Ti anode. 相似文献

In this work, we investigated terpyridine (tpy)/Zn(II) complexation for the crosslinking of polymeric micelles of the branched poly(ethylene oxide)–poly(propylene oxide) block copolymer Tetronic® 1107 (T1107) in water and produce physically stable amphiphilic luminescent nanogels. Nanoparticles displayed a size of 235 ± 25 and 318 ± 57 nm before and after Zn(II) crosslinking, respectively, as measured by dynamic light scattering. High-resolution scanning electron microscopy analysis revealed the multimicellar nature of the crosslinked nanoparticles. In addition, Zn(II) complexation prevented nanoparticle disassembly after extreme dilution below the critical micellar concentration and reduced the minimum concentration required for the reverse thermal gelation of concentrated aqueous T1107 systems. The cell compatibility and uptake were initially assessed in the murine macrophage cell line RAW 264.7. Results showed that complexation increases the cell compatibility of the nanoparticles with respect to the non-complexed counterparts. In addition, non-crosslinked nanoparticles accumulated in the cell membrane, while the complexed ones were internalized, as observed by confocal laser scanning fluorescence microscopy. Then, the antiproliferative activity of the crosslinked nanoparticles was confirmed in the rhabdomyosarcoma cell line Rh30; their inhibitory concentration 50 (IC50) being 101 μg/mL (6.7 μM). Finally, the encapsulation and release of the hydrophobic antiretroviral efavirenz was characterized in vitro. Complexation slightly reduced the release kinetics with respect to the pristine nanoparticles. Overall results demonstrate the promise of this simple modification strategy to produce amphiphilic nanogels with a set of advantageous physicochemical, optical, and biological properties. 相似文献

Nowadays, desulfurization of fuel oil has raised concern globally because of strict industrial and environmental legislations. Albeit hydrodesulfurization (HDS) has been extensively used in oil refineries to produce low sulfur oil (< 10 ppm) but not been proven as effective method for the removal of dibenzothiophene (DBT), benzothiophene (TH) and their derivatives. Subsequently, adsorptive desulfurization (ADS) and oxidative desulfurization (ODS) methods have been developed to achieve high removal efficiency. In the past decade, metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) and its composites as oxidative catalysts, as well as adsorbents, have attracted the researchers owing to high surface area, tunable properties, and reusable. The present review comprises use of MOFs and their composites for the removal of sulfur from fuel oil via ODS and ADS processes. Additionally, physicochemical properties of MOFs, mechanism, pros and cons of both process, regeneration, and future challenges have been discussed briefly. The determination of two imidazoline derivatives [oxymetazoline HCl (OXY) and xylometazoline HCl (XYLO)] was described using different potentiometric platforms. The first electrode type was constructed using tetraphenyl borate (TPB) as anionic exchanger with β-cyclodextrins (β-CD) as ionophore forming oxymetazoline-tetraphenyl borate (OXY-TPB) and xylometazoline-tetraphenyl borate (XYLO-TPB), respectively. The second electrode type was prepared by modification of the first type by conjugation with magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (MNP) forming (OXY-MNP) and (XYLO-MNP). The synthesized electrodes were fully characterized. The effect of magnetic nano-sized particles as a highly dispersible material with β-CDs on the electrode characteristics was investigated and compared against the classical electrodes. The response time, working pH range and selectivity coefficients were studied. The functionalized nano-electrodes (OXY-MNP and (XYLO-MNP) were found to be more sensitive than the classical electrodes with linearity ranges (1×10−6–1×10−2 M). The functionalized nano-electrodes were successfully applied for the in-line analysis of OXY and XYLO in pharmaceutical dosage forms and spiked rabbit aqueous humor samples with no prior extraction of treatment. This suggests the future use of these electrodes in clinical studies of both drugs of interest. 相似文献
