In this paper we first show that the total energy of solutions for a semilinear system of elastic waves in Rn with a potential type of damping decays in an algebraic rate to zero. We study the critical potential case and we assume that the initial data have a compact support. An application for the Euler-Poisson-Darboux type dissipation V(t,x) is obtained and in this case the compactness of the support on the initial data is not necessary. Finally, we shall discuss the energy concentration region for the linear system of elastic waves in an exterior domain.  相似文献

A key requirement in the recent development of highly efficient silicon solar cells is the outstanding passivation of their surfaces. In this work, plasma enhanced chemical vapour deposition of a triple layer dielectric consisting of amorphous silicon, silicon oxide and silicon nitride, charged extrinsically using corona, has been used to demonstrate extremely low surface recombination. Assuming Richter's parametrisation for bulk lifetime, an effective surface recombination velocity Seff = 0.1 cm/s at Δn = 1015 cm–3 has been obtained for planar, float zone, n ‐type, 1 Ω cm silicon. This equates to a saturation current density J0s = 0.3 fA/cm2, and a 1‐sun implied open‐circuit voltage of 738 mV. These surface recombination parameters are among the lowest reported for 1 Ω cm c‐Si. A combination of impedance spectroscopy and corona‐lifetime measurements shows that the outstanding chemical passivation is due to the small hole capture cross section for states at the interface between the Si and a‐Si layer which are hydrogenated during nitride deposition. A new derivative of the previously reported 1,2‐bis(benzimidazol‐2‐yl)ethane motif, cation [1H2]2+, was synthesized under microwave irradiation and fully characterized by solution NMR, high‐resolution mass spectrometry, cyclic voltammetry and X‐ray crystallography. This cation presents a linear geometry and incorporates nitro substituents as electrochemical handles. In solution, cation [1H2]2+, is capable of threading the cavity of dibenzo‐24‐crown‐8 ether host (DB24C8) giving rise to a [2]pseudorotaxane complex [1H2?DB24C8]2+, regardless of the counterion, [CF3SO3]? or [CF3COO] ?. The interpenetrated structure of [1H2?DB24C8]2+ was proven by solution NMR and X‐ray crystallography. This host–guest complex is held together by several non‐covalent interactions, such as hydrogen bonding and ion‐dipole. An electrochemical study of [1H2]2+ in the presence of variable amounts of DB24C8 was performed; due to the irreversible redox behavior of cation [1H2]2+, it was not possible to electrochemically control the association/dissociation process with DB24C8. Spectrometric and theoretical tools have been employed in this study in order to elucidate the structures of DTPA (diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid) complexed to copper and lead. Mass spectrometry allowed determining the 1:1 stoichiometry of metal:ligand, while infrared spectroscopy demonstrated that both N and O are sites for complexation. 13C NMR analysis showed the existence of free and complexed carboxyl groups, due to a straight singlet at 180.7 ppm (free carboxylic 13C) and to a broad signal at 179.3 ppm (complexed carboxylic 13C, 2 J Pb…O=C). A distorted NMR signal were observed for the Cu–DTPA carboxyl group, due to the Cu2+ paramagnetism. Based on the spectrometric evidences for the metal–DTPA structures, DFT optimizations were carried out and an octahedral-like arrangement for the Cu complex and a “shell-like” arrangement for the Pb complex, both hexa-coordinated, were then proposed for the structures of the titled compounds.

The photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a combination of using a photosensitizer agent, light and oxygen that can cause oxidative cellular damage. This technique is applied in several cases, including for microbial control. The most extensively studied light sources for this purpose are lasers and LED-based systems. Few studies treat alternative light sources based PDT. Sources which present flexibility, portability and economic advantages are of great interest. In this study, we evaluated the in vitro feasibility for the use of chemiluminescence as a PDT light source to induce Staphylococcus aureus reduction. The Photogem? concentration varied from 0 to 75 μg/ml and the illumination time varied from 60 min to 240 min.The long exposure time was necessary due to the low irradiance achieved with chemiluminescence reaction at μW/cm2 level. The results demonstrated an effective microbial reduction of around 98% for the highest photosensitizer concentration and light dose. These data suggest the potential use of chemiluminescence as a light source for PDT microbial control, with advantages in terms of flexibility, when compared with conventional sources.  相似文献

Given a partial action of a group on an associative algebra , we consider the crossed product . Using the algebras of multipliers, we generalize a result of Exel (1997) on the associativity of obtained in the context of -algebras. In particular, we prove that is associative, provided that is semiprime. We also give a criterion for the existence of a global extension of a given partial action on an algebra, and use crossed products to study relations between partial actions of groups on algebras and partial representations. As an application we endow partial group algebras with a crossed product structure.

We introduce the notion of continuous twisted partial actionsof a locally compact group on a C*-algebra. With such, we constructan associated C*-algebraic bundle called the semidirect productbundle. We give an explicit construction of any simply connected superconformal surface in Euclidean space in terms of a pair of conjugate minimal surfaces . That is superconformal means that its ellipse of curvature is a circle at any point. We characterize the pairs (g, h) of conjugate minimal surfaces that give rise to images of holomorphic curves by an inversion in and to images of superminimal surfaces in either a sphere or a hyperbolic space by an stereographic projection. We also determine the relation between the pairs (g, h) of conjugate minimal surfaces associated to a superconformal surface and its image by an inversion.
