Five hundred tons of antibiotics are consumed yearly in the world. In this study, the biodegradation characteristics of tetracycline (TET) under nitrate-reducing, sulfate-reducing, and methanogenic conditions were determined by batch tests. Also, effects of TET on mixed microbial cultures were revealed by microbiological analysis. In this scope, gas generation and composition, dissolved organic carbon, and electron acceptor concentrations were monitored during 120 days. Additionally, changes on quantities of specific microbial groups were determined by Q-PCR. TET showed non-biodegradable behavior under nitrate- and sulfate-reducing conditions, whereas slightly biodegradable behavior under methanogenic conditions approximately 46 % degradation. The effects of TET on the abundance of mixed culture varied according to taxonomic units. Sulfate-reducing bacteria were inhibited by TET, while archaeal, bacterial, and methanogenic populations were not affected significantly. 相似文献

The dielectric properties of composite materials consisting of a host matrix filled with spherical particles are investigated as a function of frequency by means of numerical calculations. Two different cases are analyzed: (a) composites with a conductive matrix and insulating fillers and (b) composites with an insulating matrix and conductive fillers. In both situations, dielectric dispersions due to interfacial polarization effects are observed in the dielectric spectra. In the present contribution, the characteristic frequencies of interfacial polarization effects are systematically analyzed in dependence on the volume fraction of the spherical fillers and on the conductivity values of the composite phases. In this paper, we propose a new concept of derivative with respect to an arbitrary kernel function. Several properties related to this new operator, like inversion rules and integration by parts, are studied. In particular, we introduce the notion of conjugate kernels, which will be useful to guaranty that the proposed derivative operator admits a right inverse. The proposed concept includes as special cases Riemann‐Liouville fractional derivatives, Hadamard fractional derivatives, and many other fractional operators. Moreover, using our concept, new fractional operators involving certain special functions are introduced, and some of their properties are studied. Finally, an existence result for a boundary value problem involving the introduced derivative operator is proved. 相似文献
