Two epoxy resins containing degradable acetal linkages were synthesized by the reaction of cresol novolak‐type phenolic resin (CN) with vinyl ethers containing a glycidyl group [cyclohexane dimethanol vinyl glycidyl ether (CHDMVG) and 4‐vinyloxybutyl glycidyl ether (VBGE). Carbon fiber‐reinforced plastics (CFRPs) were prepared by heating laminated prepreg sheets with CN‐CHDMVG resin (derived from CN and CHDMVG) and CN‐VBGE resin (derived from CN and VBGE), in which carbon fibers are impregnated with epoxy resins containing curing agents [dicyandiamide (DICY)] and curing accelerator [3‐(3,4‐dichlorophenyl)‐1,1‐dimethylurea (DCMU)]. CN‐CHDMVG‐based CFRPs and CN‐VBGE‐based CFRPs exhibited almost the same tensile strength as the conventional bisphenol‐A‐based CFRPs. CN‐CHDMVG‐based CFRPs and CN‐VBGE‐based CFRPs underwent smooth breakdown with the treatment of hydrochloric acid in tetrahydrofuran at room temperature for 24 h to regenerate strands of carbon fibers. The surface conditions of the recovered carbon fibers had little changes during degradation and recovery processes on the basis of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The recovered carbon fibers exhibited almost the same tensile strength as virgin carbon fibers and hence would be reused for the production of CFRPs. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Chiral Lewis acid-catalyzed asymmetric alcohol addition reactions to cyclic carbonyl ylides generated from N-(α-diazocarbonyl)-2-oxazolidinones featuring a dual catalytic system are reported. Construction of a chiral quaternary heteroatom-substituted carbon center was accomplished in which the unique heterobicycles were obtained in good yields with high stereoselection. The alcohol adducts were successfully converted to optically active oxazolidine-2,4-diones by hydrolysis. Mechanistic studies by DFT calculations revealed that alcohols could be activated by Lewis acids, enabling enantioselective protonation of the carbonyl ylides.  相似文献

Domain swapping is an exception to Anfinsen's dogma, and more than one structure can be produced from the same amino acid sequence by domain swapping. We have previously shown that myoglobin (Mb) can form a domain‐swapped dimer in which the hinge region is converted to a helical structure. In this study, we showed that domain‐swapped dimerization of Mb was achieved by a single Ala mutation of Gly at position 80. Multiple Ala mutations at positions 81 and 82 in addition to position 80 facilitated dimerization of Mb by stabilization of the dimeric states. Domain swapping tendencies correlated well with the helical propensity of the mutated residue in a series of Mb mutants with amino acids introduced to the hinge region. These findings demonstrate that a single mutation in the hinge loop to modify helical propensity can control oligomer formation, providing new ideas to create high‐order protein oligomers using domain swapping.  相似文献

Trialkylphosphine organocatalysis has enabled the regioselective anti‐carboboration of alkynoates with 9‐BBN‐based 1,1‐diborylalkanes to produce secondary allylboranes with β‐alkoxycarbonyl and γ‐boryl substituents. The utility of the densely functionalized allylboranes was demonstrated by the highly diastereoselective allylation of N‐(trimethylsilyl)aldimines to produce homoallylamines containing tertiary allylborane and acrylate moieties.  相似文献

A convenient synthesis of indole triflones is reported. N-Alkyl, aryl and N-H indole triflones were obtained in 82-96% yields by the Tf(2)O/TTBP System. Biindolyl triflones were accessed in 51-81% yields for the first time by simple treatment of the resulting indole triflones with a base and without any use of organometallic chemistry. An environmentally friendly solvent, Solkane 365/227, can be substituted for this process without any loss of efficiency.  相似文献

We performed the first investigations of coherent acoustic phonons in Au-Ag core-shell nanorods, which were compared with the results of parental Au nanorods. Both breathing and extensional modes were observed in Au-Ag core-shell nanorods with ~11 nm Ag shell while only extensional modes were detected in other core-shell nanorods with 4-7 nm Ag shell. Young's modulus estimated from the oscillation period of extensional modes was found to be larger for Au-Ag core-shell nanorods with ~4 nm Ag shell, as compared with that of Au nanorods. The value of Young's modulus decreases with the increase of the Ag shell thickness and finally becomes smaller than that of Au nanorods. This phenomenon is interpreted in terms of the surface effects and the existence of grain boundaries in the lattice structure of Ag shell.  相似文献

Reactions of N-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)-4-arylpyridinium chlorides (aryl (Ar) = phenyl and 4-pyridyl) with piperazines caused the ring opening of the pyridinium ring and yielded polymers that consisted of 5-piperazinium-3-aryl-penta-2,4-dienylideneammonium chloride units [N(CH(R)CH2)2N+(Cl)CHCHC(Ar)CHCH, RH, Me, and phenyl]. However, the same reactions occurring in the presence of piperidine yielded oligomers that consisted of 5-piperazinium-3-aryl-penta-2,4-dienylideneammonium chloride units having piperidine and/or piperazine rings at both ends. 1H NMR spectra suggested that π-electrons of the penta-2,4-dienylideneammonium group of the polymers and the oligomers were delocalized. UV-vis measurements revealed that the π-conjugation system expanded along the polymer and oligomer chains due to the orbital interaction between electrons on the two nitrogen atoms of the piperazinium ring. Conversion of the piperazinium ring from the boat form to the chair form caused decrease in the π-conjugation length. The rate constants of the conversion of the oligomers depended on their chain lengths. The surface of pellets that were molded from the polymers and oligomers exhibited metallic luster. These polymers and oligomers underwent electrochemical oxidation in solution.  相似文献

By alternate UV and visible light irradiation, reversible topographical changes were observed on a newly synthesized diarylethene microcrystalline surface between the rough crystalline surface of an open-ring isomer and flat eutectic surfaces. The contact angle changes of a water droplet between 80° and 150° and peak intensities changes of the open-ring isomer in XRD patterns within 2 h of repeating cycle were observed. The results indicated that reversibly photogenerated rod-shaped crystals on the surface were produced based on the lattice of the open-ring isomer crystals in the subphase.  相似文献
