A triplet ground-state diradical molecule, bis(nitronyl nitroxide)-substituted diphenyldihydrophenazine ( 1 ..), that can be converted into a one-electron oxidized species, 1 … + , in the quartet ground state has been developed. Surprisingly, these species, 1 .. and 1 … + , can be used under ambient conditions because they are reasonably stable under aerobic conditions, even in solution. The temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibilities reveal that 1 .. and 1 … + are in the triplet state, with a weak exchange interaction (J1/kB = +3.1 K) and quartet ground state with a strong exchange interaction (J2/kB = +160 K), respectively. The interconversion between the neutral and one-electron oxidized species can be realized through electrochemical reactions. Significantly different absorption bands in the near-IR region newly appeared in the electronic spectra acquired during electrochemical oxidation/reduction.  相似文献

The demand for practical methods for the synthesis of novel fluoroalkyl molecules is increasing owing to their diverse applications. Our group has achieved efficient difunctionalizing fluoroalkylations of alkenes using fluorinated carboxylic anhydrides as user-friendly fluoroalkyl sources. Fluorinated diacyl peroxide, prepared in situ from carboxylic anhydrides, enables the development of novel reactions when used as a radical fluoroalkylating reagent. In this account, we aim to provide an in-depth understanding of the structure, bonding, and reactivity of fluorinated diacyl peroxides and radicals as well as their control in fluoroalkylation reactions. In the first part of this account, the physical properties and reactivity of diacyl peroxides and fluoroalkyl radicals are described. In the subsequent part, we categorize the reactions into copper-catalyzed and metal-free methods utilizing the oxidizing properties of fluorinated diacyl peroxides. The combination of pivalic or acetic acid as a promoter and EtOAc as a solvent and acetyl donor proved to be efficient for the chemoselective N-acetylation of primary aliphatic amines to afford the corresponding acetamides. We developed a simple and convenient approach, which requires mild reaction conditions. Competitive inter- and intramolecular reactions between aliphatic amines, alcohols, and aromatic amines were examined, and chemoselectivity was achieved by adjusting the conditions of the reaction.  相似文献

Piper betle (L) is a popular medicinal plant in Asia. Plant leaves have been used as a traditional medicine to treat various health conditions. It is highly abundant and inexpensive, therefore promoting further research and industrialization development, including in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Articles published from 2010 to 2020 were reviewed in detail to show recent updates on the antibacterial and antifungal properties of betel leaves. This current review showed that betel leaves extract, essential oil, preparations, and isolates could inhibit microbial growth and kill various Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria as well as fungal species, including those that are multidrug-resistant and cause serious infectious diseases. P. betle leaves displayed high efficiency on Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, and Candida albicans. The ratio of MBC/MIC indicated bactericidal and bacteriostatic effects of P. betle leaves, while MFC/MIC values showed fungicidal and fungistatic effects. This review also provides a list of phytochemical compounds in betel leaves extracts and essential oils, safety profiles, and value-added products of betel leaves. Some studies also showed that the combination of betel leaves extract and essential oil with antibiotics (streptomycin, chloramphenicol and gentamicin) could provide potentiating antibacterial properties. Moreover, this review delivers a scientific resume for researchers in respected areas and manufacturers who want to develop betel leaves-based products.  相似文献

Summary A neural network model is applied to optimization problems of material compositions for a functionally graded material plate with arbitrarily distributed and continuously varied material properties in the thickness direction. Unsteady temperature distribution is evaluated by taking into account the bounds of the number of the layers. Thermal stress components for an infinite functionally graded material plate are formulated under traction-free mechanical conditions. As a numerical example, a plate composed of zirconium oxide and titanium alloy is considered. In the optimization problem of minimizing the thermal stress distribution, the numerical calculations are carried out making use of the neural network. The optimum material composition is determined by taking into account the effect of temperature-dependence of material properties.
