Well‐defined tertiary amine‐based pH‐responsive homopolymers and block copolymers were synthesized via reversible addition‐fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization using 4‐cyanopentanoic acid dithiobenzoate (CPAD) as the RAFT agent for homopolymers and a poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) macro‐RAFT agent for the block copolymers. 1H NMR and gel permeation chromatography results confirmed the successful synthesis of these homopolymers and block copolymers. Kinetics studies indicated that the formation of both the homopolymers and the block copolymers were well defined. The pKa titration experiments suggested that the homopolymers and the related block copolymers have a similar pKa. The dynamic light scattering investigation showed that all of the block copolymers underwent a sharp transition from unimers to micelles around their pKa and the hydrodynamic diameter (Dh) was not only dependent on the molecular weight but also on the composition of the block copolymers. The polymer solution of PEG‐b‐PPPDEMA formed the largest micelle compare to the PEG‐b‐PDPAEMA and PEG‐b‐PDBAEMA with a similar molecular weight. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. The need for reliable surface analyses together with quality‐management requirements for analytical laboratories led the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to form its Technical Committee (TC) 201 on Surface Chemical Analysis in 1991. This article describes the organization of TC 201, the strategies that have been found useful for identifying and assessing possible projects for new international standards, and the 57 international standards and other documents prepared to date by TC 201. Standards have now been developed for Auger‐electron spectroscopy, glow‐discharge spectroscopy, various types of scanning probe microscopy, secondary‐ion mass spectrometry, sputter‐depth profiling, total‐reflection X‐ray fluorescence spectroscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and X‐ray reflectometry. In addition, standards have been developed with definitions of terms used in surface chemical analysis; the handling, preparation of specimens for surface analysis; information and data‐transfer formats; and methods for determining the lateral resolution of beam‐based methods of surface analysis. The synthesis and crystal structure (100 K) of the title compound, [Fe(C10H11BrN3OS)2]NO3·H2O, is reported. The asymmetric unit consists of an octahedral [FeIII(HL)2]+ cation, where HL? is H-5-Br-thsa-Et or 5-bromosalicylaldehyde 4-ethylthiosemicarbazonate(1?) {systematic name: 4-bromo-2-[(4-ethylthiosemicarbazidoidene)methyl]phenolate}, a nitrate anion and a noncoordinated water molecule. Each HL? ligand binds via the thione S, the imine N and the phenolate O atom, resulting in an FeIIIS2N2O2 chromophore. The ligands are orientated in two perpendicular planes, with the O and S atoms in cis and the N atoms in trans positions. This [Fe(HL)2](anion)·H2O compound contains the first known cationic FeIII entity containing two salicylaldehyde thiosemicarbazone derivatives. The FeIII ion is in the high-spin state at 100 K. In addition, a comparative IR spectroscopic study of the free ligand and the ferric complex is presented, demonstrating that such an analysis provides a quick identification of the degree of deprotonation and the coordination mode of the ligand in this class of metal compounds. The variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements (5–320 K) are consistent with the presence of a high-spin FeIII ion with a zero-field splitting D = 0.439 (1) cm?1. 相似文献

We report three structurally related single ion Dy compounds using the pentadentate ligand 2,6-bis((E)-1-(2-(pyridin-2-yl)-hydrazineylidene)ethyl)pyridine (H2dapp) [Dy(H2dapp)(NO3)2]NO3 ( 1 ), [Dy(H2dapp)(OAc)2]Cl ( 2 ) and [Dy(H2dapp)(NO3)2]Cl0.92(NO3)0.08 ( 3 ). The (H2dapp) occupies a helical twisted pentagonal equatorial arrangement with two anionic ligands in the axial positions. Further influence on the electronic and magnetic structure is provided by a closely associated counterion interacting with the central N−H group of the (H2dapp). The slow relaxation of the magnetisation shows that the anionic acetates give the greatest slowing down of the magnetisation reversal. Further influence on the relaxation properties of compounds 1 and 2 is the presence of short nitrate-nitrate intermolecular ligand contact opening further lattice relaxation pathways. 相似文献
