The simultaneous effect of silver nanoparticles on the antibacterial, mechanical, and physical properties of polyethylene (PE) films is evaluated. For this aim, uniaxial tensile, film rupture, and permeability tests and X-ray diffraction analysis were conducted. The biocidal performance against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria was also assessed. The results show that reinforcements with as little as 1 wt% nanosilver provided absolute antibacterial performance, while generally maintaining the mechanical properties. The reinforcement causes noticeable alterations in the crystallization behavior, which is manifested in the variations of gas permeability of the PE films. 相似文献

Given a non-unit, non-zero-divisor, central element x of a ring Λ, it is well known that many properties or invariants of Λ determine, and are determined by, those of and . In the present paper, we investigate how the property of “being tilting” behaves in this situation. It turns out that any tilting module over Λ gives rise to tilting modules over and after localization and passing to quotient respectively. On the other hand, it is proved that under some mild conditions, a module over Λ is tilting if its corresponding localization and quotient are tilting over and respectively. 相似文献

AbstractThis study evaluated the roles of zeatin (2?mg/L) on direct organogenesis, phytochemical compounds, antioxidant activity, and cytotoxic activity in regenerated shoots of red cabbage. The results revealed that the extract of explant treated by 2?mg/L zeatin gives the highest content of total phenolics (5.18?mg gallic acid equivalent/g dry weight) and flavonoids (1.52?mg rutin equivalent/g dry weight). Moreover, HPLC and GC-MS analyses indicated that various bioactive compounds in red cabbage are significantly enhanced with increasing zeatin concentration. Besides that, antioxidant activity test showed that in vitro shooting culture using 2?mg/L zeatin displayed higher antioxidant activity in all assays (DPPH, FRAP and ABTS) compared to control with respective values of 68.12%, 73.28%, and 54.1%, respectively. Finally, the cytotoxic properties illustrated that the extracts of red cabbage explant treated by 2?mg/L zeatin exhibited the strongest cytotoxic effect towards cancer cells compared to control. 相似文献

Identification of voice disorders has a fundamental role in our life nowadays. Therefore, many of these diseases must be diagnosed at early stages of occurrence before they lead to a critical condition. Acoustic analysis can be used to identify voice disorders as a complementary technique with other traditional invasive methods, such as laryngoscopy. In this article, we followed an extensive study in the diagnosis of voice disorders using the statistical pattern recognition techniques. Finally, we proposed a combined scheme of feature reduction methods followed by pattern recognition methods to classify voice disorders. Six classifiers are used to evaluate feature vectors obtained by principal component analysis or linear discriminant analysis (LDA) as feature reduction methods. Furthermore, individual, forward, backward, and branch-and-bound methods are examined as feature selection methods. The performance of each combined scheme is evaluated in terms of the accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC). The experimental results denote that LDA along with support vector machine (SVM) has the best performance, with a recognition rate of 94.26% and AUC of 97.94%. Additionally, this structure has the lowest complexity in comparison with other architectures. Among feature selection methods, individual feature selection followed by SVM classifier shows the best recognition rate of 91.55% and AUC of 95.80%. 相似文献
