Linear polyphosphonates with the generic formula –[P(Ph)(X)OR′O]n– (X = S or Se) have been synthesized by polycondensations of P(Ph)(NEt2)2 and a diol (HOR′OH = 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol, 1,4-benzenedimethanol, tetraethylene glycol, or 1,12-dodecanediol) followed by reaction with a chalcogen. Random copolymers have been synthesized by polycondensations of P(Ph)(NEt2)2 and mixture of two of the diols in a 2:1:1 mol ratio followed by reaction with a chalcogen. Block copolymers with the generic formula –[P(Ph)(X)OR′O](x + 2) –[P(Ph)(X)OR′O](x + 3)– (X = S or Se) have been synthesized by the polycondensations of Et2N[P(Ph)(X)OR′O](x + 2)P(Ph)NEt2 oligomers with HOR′O[P(Ph)(X)OR′O](x + 3)H oligomers followed by reaction with a chalcogen. The Et2N[P(Ph)(X)OR′O](x + 2)P(Ph)NEt2 oligomers are prepared by the reaction of an excess of P(Ph)(NEt2)2 with a diol while the HOR′O[P(Ph)(X)OR′O](x + 3)H oligomers are prepared by the reaction of P(Ph)(NEt2)2 with an excess of the diol. In each case the excess, x is the same and determines the average block sizes. All of the polymers were characterized using 1H, 13C{1H}, and 31P{1H} NMR spectroscopy, TGA, DSC, and SEC. 31P{1H} NMR spectroscopy demonstrates that the random and block copolymers have the expected arrangements of monomers and, in the case of block copolymers, verifies the block sizes. All polymers are thermally stable up to ~300°C, and the arrangements of monomers in the copolymers (block vs. random) affect their degradation temperatures and Tg profiles. The polymers have weight average MWs of up to 3.8 × 104 Da.  相似文献

A ring is called commutative transitive if commutativity is a transitive relation on its nonzero elements. Likewise, it is weakly commutative transitive (wCT) if commutativity is a transitive relation on its noncentral elements. The main topic of this paper is to describe the structure of finite wCT rings. It is shown that every such ring is a direct sum of an indecomposable noncommutative wCT ring of prime power order, and a commutative ring. Furthermore, finite indecomposable wCT rings are either two-by-two matrices over fields, local rings, or basic rings with two maximal ideals. We characterize finite local rings as generalized skew polynomial rings over coefficient Galois rings; the associated automorphisms of the Galois ring give rise to a signature of the local ring. These are then used to further describe the structure of finite local and wCT basic rings.  相似文献

A new, highly denaturing electrolyte system based on a solution containing 0.01 M NaOH, 0.0015 M Na2B4O5(OH)4 and a replaceable polymer sieving medium was designed for the separation of single-stranded DNA fragments in bare fused-silica capillaries. Extreme denaturing power, together with the optimized composition of the electrolyte, allows for a separation efficiency as high as 2,300,000 height equivalents to a theoretical plate per meter. Sample denaturation in alkaline solutions provides single-stranded DNA fragments without any intra- or intermolecular interactions at room temperature. Their electrophoretic mobilities were found to be twice those of fragments denatured by dimethylformamide or HCl. This can be interpreted in terms of an increased effective charge on the DNA molecules. The surprisingly weak electroosmosis (6 x 10(-10) m2 V-1 s-1) of polymer solutions at pH 12 or higher is considered to be the result of the dissolution of the silica capillary wall. A highly viscous thin layer of dissolved silica probably causes a shift of the slipping plane further away from the wall to the lower value of the zeta potential. Applications of the electrolyte in clinical diagnostics demonstrate its remarkable properties.  相似文献

We investigate the prime spectrum of a noncommutative ring and its spectral closure, the extended prime spectrum. We construct a ring for which the prime spectrum is a spectral space different from the extended prime spectrum and we construct a von Neumann regular ring for which the prime spectrum is not a spectral space. The authors are members of the European Research Training Network RAAG (Contract No. HPRN-CT-2001-00271). The methodology and instrumentation for fast denaturing electrophoresis in short capillaries was developed and exemplified by detection of short tandem repeat polymorphism in the endothelin 1 gene. The resolution of two nucleotides, which is required for the detection of a dinucleotide repeat polymorphism, was achieved in a capillary of an effective length of 2.5 cm at a temperature of 600C and an electric field strength of 600 V/cm in 42 s. Thus, the use of denaturing electrophoresis in short capillaries with laser-induced fluorescence detection resulted in a reduction of analysis time by a factor of 200 when compared to the conventional slab gel electrophoresis. The developed methodology and instrumentation is advantageous for an implementation in clinical diagnostics and genetic population screening where fast analytical instrumentation amenable to automation is of paramount importance.  相似文献

An effective approach is described for the synthesis of binary patterned polymer brushes using a combination of capillary force lithography and surface-initiated polymerization. First, the approach calls for an ultrathin polystyrene (PS) mask to be deposited, in a pattern, over a surface to which a layer of polymerization initiator has already been anchored. Next, surface-initiated atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) is performed. This can graft the initial polymer brush onto those areas of the surface unprotected by the PS mask. After grafting is complete, the PS mask is removed and a second brush is synthesized on the newly exposed areas.  相似文献

Large part of the current research in biology, medicine, and biotechnology depends on the analysis of DNA (genomics), proteins (proteomics), or metabolites (metabolomics). The advances in biotechnology also command development of adequate analytical instrumentation capable to analyze minute amounts of samples. The analysis of the content of single cells may serve as an example of ultimate analytical applications. Most of the separation techniques have been developed in the last three decades and alternative approaches are being investigated. At present, the main protocols for analyses of complex mixtures include 2-DE (IEF) followed by electrophoresis in SDS polyacrylamide gel (SDS-PAGE) and chromatographic techniques. Information-rich techniques such as MS and NMR are essential for the identification and structure analysis of the analyzed compounds. High resolution separation of the individual sample components is often a prerequisite for success. High resolution proteomic analysis in the majority of laboratories still relies on the time consuming and laborious offline methods. This review highlights some of the important aspects of 2-D separations including microfluidics.  相似文献

This paper concerns analytic free maps. These maps are free analogs of classical analytic functions in several complex variables, and are defined in terms of non-commuting variables amongst which there are no relations - they are free variables. Analytic free maps include vector-valued polynomials in free (non-commuting) variables and form a canonical class of mappings from one non-commutative domain D in say g variables to another non-commutative domain in variables. As a natural extension of the usual notion, an analytic free map is proper if it maps the boundary of D into the boundary of . Assuming that both domains contain 0, we show that if is a proper analytic free map, and f(0)=0, then f is one-to-one. Moreover, if also , then f is invertible and f−1 is also an analytic free map. These conclusions on the map f are the strongest possible without additional assumptions on the domains D and .  相似文献

A *-ordering of a skew field D induces an ordering of the field K of its central symmetric elements. Let F be an ordered field extension of K. We prove that the central extension of D by F exists and admits a *-ordering extending the given *-ordering of D and ordering of F. We consider the existence of Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton plus fluid systems for the case of stationary cylindrically symmetric spacetimes. An exact inhomogeneous -order solution is found, where the parameter parametrizes the non-minimally coupled electromagnetic field. Some its physical attributes are investigated and a connection with the already known Gödel-type solution is given. It is shown that our solution also survives in the string-inspired charged gravity framework. We find that a magnetic field has positive influence on the chronology violation unlike the dilaton influence.  相似文献
