A new theoretical (semiempirical) model of diffusion-drift charge carrier transport in layers with a fractal structure based on a partial differential equation with a fractional time derivative has been proposed. It has been shown by numerical calculations that a decrease in the order of the fractional derivative in the presence of the external electric field leads to broadening and asymmetry of the spatial distributions of charge carriers, which physically corresponds to intensification of scattering processes.  相似文献

The structural, electronic, and optical properties of Zn_3(VO_4)_2 are investigated using full potential linearized augmented plane wave(FP-LAPW) method within the framework of density functional theory(DFT). Various approaches are adopted to treat the exchange and correlation potential energy such as generalized gradient approximation(GGA),GGA+U, and the Tran–Blaha modified Becke–Johnson(TB-mBJ) potential. The calculated band gap of 3.424 eV by TB-mBJ is found to be close to the experimental result(3.3 eV). The optical anisotropy is analyzed through optical constants,such as dielectric function and absorption coefficient along parallel and perpendicular crystal orientations. The absorption coefficient reveals high absorption(1.5 × 10~(6) cm~(-1)) of photons in the ultraviolet region.  相似文献

In recent years, there is emerging evidence that isoflavonoids, either dietary or obtained from traditional medicinal plants, could play an important role as a supplementary drug in the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) due to their reported pronounced biological effects in relation to multiple metabolic factors associated with diabetes. Hence, in this regard, we have comprehensively reviewed the potential biological effects of isoflavonoids, particularly biochanin A, genistein, daidzein, glycitein, and formononetin on metabolic disorders and long-term complications induced by T2DM in order to understand whether they can be future candidates as a safe antidiabetic agent. Based on in-depth in vitro and in vivo studies evaluations, isoflavonoids have been found to activate gene expression through the stimulation of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARs) (α, γ), modulate carbohydrate metabolism, regulate hyperglycemia, induce dyslipidemia, lessen insulin resistance, and modify adipocyte differentiation and tissue metabolism. Moreover, these natural compounds have also been found to attenuate oxidative stress through the oxidative signaling process and inflammatory mechanism. Hence, isoflavonoids have been envisioned to be able to prevent and slow down the progression of long-term diabetes complications including cardiovascular disease, nephropathy, neuropathy, and retinopathy. Further thoroughgoing investigations in human clinical studies are strongly recommended to obtain the optimum and specific dose and regimen required for supplementation with isoflavonoids and derivatives in diabetic patients.  相似文献

This study reports the results of a numerical investigation of three-dimensional turbulent buoyant recirculating flow within rooms with heated obstruction. The study involves the solution of partial differential equations for the conservation of mass, momentum, energy, concentration, turbulent energy and its dissipation rate. These equations were solved together with algebraic expressions for the turbulent viscosity and heat diffusivity using k-ε turbulence model by performing simulations on FLUENT 6.3. The CFD method was validated via comparing with the available experimental data. A comparison with experimental results shows good agreement. This means that the present computer code has a good capability to simulate 3D airflow and effect of obstruction within room. The present study demonstrates the flow behavior, thermal distribution and CO2 concentration inside the room in the presence of heat flux obstruction. Two different configurations of ventilation system have been studied. Mixing and Displacement ventilation system have been used in two geometries depending on location of opening inlet. The ventilation effectiveness for heat removal (ET) is used to evaluate the indoor climate and average temperature is an important parameter in designs the ventilation systems. Two notable points are presented; first, mixing ventilation is depending on throw of jet. CO2 concentration and temperature distribution have been effected in upper zone more than occupied zone with presence the obstruction. Second notable points are presented; in displacement ventilation buoyancy effect is considerable. Vertical temperature gradient above the obstruction implies that both fresh air and CO2 concentration.  相似文献

Multi-photon absorption induced luminescence (MAIL) from bare gold nanoparticles, silica-coated particles, as well as silica-coated agglomerated gold nanoparticles suspended in aqueous solution was studied by using time-resolved and steady-state luminescence spectroscopy. The nanoparticles were excited by femtosecond pulses of wavelengths ranging from 630 nm to 900 nm. The luminescence from the particles exhibits a broad spectrum in the UV and VIS region. The time-resolved measurements indicate a luminescence lifetime of a few ps, limited by the response of the experimental system. The studied dependence of the MAIL efficiency on the excitation wavelength showed that the luminescence from silica-coated agglomerates was enhanced over the whole range of excitation wavelengths, when compared to the luminescence from individual gold nanoparticles. The agglomerates show an almost excitation wavelength independent efficiency of the MAIL, while for individual nanoparticles a rapid decrease of the MAIL efficiency was observed with increasing excitation wavelength. The observed enhancement of the MAIL from the agglomerated nanostructures can be attributed to the presence of localized surface plasmon resonances in the spectral region corresponding to the excitation wavelengths. The high MAIL efficiency from the agglomerated nanoparticle structures in the near-infrared could be an advantage in the expanding field of luminescence-based-imaging, as well as in biosensor technology.  相似文献

Total fragmentation cross section for the reaction 158A Pb ions + Cu target is measured using the most sensitive track detector CR-39. Measured values are compared with calculations. Exposures of target-detector stack with 158A P5 projectiles are made at CERN-SPS beam facility. Results of calibration of CR-39 detector in a charge region (63 ≤ Z ≤ 83) are also reported, which can be used for high energy particle identification using CR-39 and in determination of partial charge changing cross sections. The charge resolution δz achieved by this technique is about 0.2e. A systematic dependence of total fragmentation cross section on target properties is revealed and the corresponding results are presented.  相似文献

Combined on-line transmission FTIR spectroscopy and band-target entropy minimization (BTEM) analysis were employed in order to monitor and analyze the kinetics of the alkaline hydrolysis reaction of diethyl phthalate (DEP) in aqueous-ethanol solvent mixture. This reaction is irreversible and involves two consecutive steps with the formation of the observable mono-ion intermediate species. The pure component mid-FTIR spectra of the reactive species involved in this reaction, namely DEP, mono-ion intermediate and di-ion product were successfully reconstructed using BTEM. Their corresponding concentrations were also calculated and subsequently employed to derive the kinetic rate parameters. The effect of temperature and the solvent mixture compositions on these two consecutive reaction steps were also discussed. The temperature variation study showed that both reaction rate coefficients increased with temperature. Both rate coefficients were also affected by the solvent mixture compositions and reached minimum values at certain water-ethanol solvent composition (circa 60% (v/v)). This study shows the utility of combined on-line transmission FTIR spectroscopy and chemometric techniques for the present, rather complex, consecutive organic reaction. Moreover, the present type of approach could facilitate better understanding of a wide variety of organic reactions that are performed in aqueous and mixed aqueous-organic solvents.  相似文献
