Simple and rapid analytical procedures for the ETAAS determination of Cd and Pb in plant (poplar, clover, plantain) leaves are described. Optimal conditions are presented for the wet digestion of plant matrices with a mixture of nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide along with optimal temperature programmes for subsequent modifier-free electrothermal determination of Cd and Pb. Slurry preparation procedures using tetramethylammonium hydroxide or a mixture of 1 mol/L HNO3 + 1.5 mol/L H2O2 are proposed as another approach for rapid and accurate routine analysis of Cd and Pb in plant leaves. It has been found that single standard addition can be used for quantitative determination in the case of wet digestion ETAAS and standard addition to each analysed matrix is recommended in the case of slurry ETAAS. For all plant leaves investigated good agreement was achieved between the concentrations determined by wet digestion ETAAS and slurry ETAAS. The wet digestion method provides relative standard deviations for Cd ranging from 3% to 17% and for Pb from 2% to 16%. For the slurry method the RSD values are in the range of 4–31% for Cd and 4–30% for Pb, depending for both cases on the magnitude of the measured concentrations. Validity and versatility of the methods are verified by the analyses of standard reference materials. Received: 17 March 1997 / Revised: 2 May 1997 / Accepted: 8 May 1997  相似文献

The Lipkin-Nogami method, which makes it possible to take more accurately into account the law of particle-number conservation, is incorporated in the extended scheme of the random-phase approximation. The effect of ground-state correlations on the transition charge density of the lowest quadrupole state is investigated for the example of the 68Zn nucleus.  相似文献

Different strategies of multivariate data analysis are used to interpret a data base from geological samples. Cluster and correspondence analysis are applied to classify properly 34 chemical elements from 10 representative rock samples (volcanic series from Borovitsa, Rhodopa mountains, Bulgaria). Principal components analysis is also used as display method to visualize the relation between the variables and objects of interest. The multivariate data analysis applied makes it possible to interpret the origin and orogenesis of the samples.  相似文献

A new sorbent based on cysteine modified silica gel (SiG-cys) was prepared and studied for preconcentration and separation of noble metals Au(III), Pd(II), Pt(II), Pt(IV). Its extraction efficiency was examined by batch and column solid phase extraction procedures. Laboratory experiments performed showed that sorbent is characterized with high selectivity, permiting quantitative sorption (93–97%) of noble metals Au, Pd and Pt from acidic media 0.1–2 mol L? 1 HCl and unsignificant sorption (less than 2%) for common base metals like Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn. The analytes retained on the sorbent are effectively eluted with 0.1 mol L? 1 thiourea in 0.1 mol L? 1 HCl and measured by ETAAS or ICP OES under optimal instrumental parameters. The sorbent showed high mechanical and chemical stability and extraction efficiency was not changed after 500 cycles of sorption/desorption. The sorbent was successfully applied in analyticals procedures for preconcentration and determination of Au, Pd and Pt in geological and soil samples. Detection limits (3σ criteria) achieved, depending on the instrumental methods used are: ETAAS (0.005 μg L? 1 for Au in river and sea water, 0.002 μg g? 1 for Au in copper ore and copper concentrate); ICP OES (0.03 μg L? 1 for Pd and 0.06 μg L? 1 for Pt in river and sea water, 0.006 μg g? 1 for Pd in copper ore and copper concentrate and 0.002 μg g? 1 for soluble Pt in soil). The accuracy of the procedures developed was confirmed by added/found method for sea and river water; by the analysis of national certified materials (copper ore and copper concentrate for Au and Pd) and by determination of the sum of soluble Pt(II) + Pt(IV) in spiked soil samples.  相似文献

The contents of Cl, Ca, K, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Rb, Sr, Ba and Pb in raw coal fly ash from five Bulgarian power plants were determined by total reflection X-ray fluorescence (TXRF), using gallium as the internal standard. The samples were analysed as in slurry form in Triton? X-114. The experimental parameters, such as grain size, concentrations of fly ash slurry and excitation time were optimised. For validation of the method, the certified reference material BCR-176R fly ash was used. The precision of the results obtained is characterised by a relative standard deviation of approximately 10%. The resulting data confirm the suitability of TXRF for the simultaneous determination of major, minor and trace elements in coal fly ash samples. Further advantages provided by TXRF are easy sample preparation (no sample dissolution) and the small sample amount required for analysis.  相似文献

Total dissolved and labile concentrations of Cd(II), Cu(II), Ni(II) and Pb(II) were determined at six locations of the Bourgas Gulf of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Solid phase extraction procedure based on monodisperse, submicrometer silica spheres modified with 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane followed by the electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (ETAAS) was developed and applied to quantify the total dissolved metal concentrations in sea water. Quantitative sorption of Cd, Cu, Ni and Pb was achieved in the pH range 7.5–8, for 30?min, adsorbed elements were easily eluted with 2?mL 2?mol?L?1 HNO3. Since the optimal pH for quantitative sorption coincides with typical pH of Black Sea water (7.9–8.2), on-site pre-concentration of the analytes without any additional treatment was possible. Detection limits achieved for total dissolved metal quantification were: Cd 0.002?µg?L?1, Cu 0.005?µg?L?1, Ni 0.03?µg?L?1, Pb 0.02?µg?L?1 and relative standard deviations varied from 5–13% for all studied elements (for typical Cd, Cu, Ni and Pb concentrations in Black Sea water). Open pore diffusive gradients in thin films (DGT) technique was employed for in-situ sampling and pre-concentration of the sea water and in combination with ETAAS was used to determine the proportion of dynamic (mobile and kinetically labile) species of Cd(II), Cu(II), Ni(II) and Pb(II) in the sea water. Obtained results showed strong complexation for Cu and Pb with sea water dissolved organic matter. The ratios between DGT-labile and total dissolved concentrations found for Cu(II) and Pb(II) were in the range 0.2–0.4. For Cd and Ni, these ratios varied from 0.6 to 0.8, suggesting higher degree of free and kinetically labile species of these metals in sea water.  相似文献
