Reduction of nimesulide followed by treating the N‐acyl derivative of resulting arylamine with Vilsmeier‐Haack reagent provided novel 2‐chloro‐3‐formylquinoline derivatives. The construction of quinoline ring using Vilsmeier‐Haack reagent afforded an unexpected compound, N‐(2‐chloro‐3‐formyl‐7‐phenoxy quinolin‐6‐yl)formamide, in addition to the expected product. The structure of this unexpected quinoline derivative was established via single‐crystal X‐ray analysis and its formation could be explained by an unprecedented N‐S bond cleavage under Vilsmeier‐Haack reaction conditions. The 2‐chloro‐3‐formylquinoline derivatives obtained were converted to a number of corresponding Schiff bases with potential pharmacological importance. J. Heterocyclic Chem., 2011. 相似文献

electrode. The effects of pH, sweep rate, concentration, temperature and surfactants have been studied. The complex bis (carbo/thiocabohydrazide) Zn(II) chloride was also subjected to voltammetric analysis in order to understand the reactivity
both in free and metal bound states. The reaction conditions were optimized for the determination of above compounds in micrograms

To investigate the origin of the first order molecular kinetics of the most prominent, Debye-type polarization, a detailed dielectric relaxation study of 66.5, 40, and 20 mole% solutions of 5-methyl-2-hexanol in 2-methylpentane (2:1, 0.67:1, and 0.25:1 molar ratios) was performed. The Debye-type polarization remains prominent in the solutions, despite the extensive loss of intermolecular hydrogen bonds. At high temperatures, its contribution to permittivity extrapolates close to the statistically scaled values for the 2:1 solution. For others, the measured values of its contribution crossover the scaled values in a temperature plane. The faster relaxation process of about 4% magnitude has an asymmetric distribution of times in the solutions and, relative to those of the pure alcohol, their values decrease on heating more at high temperatures and less at low. This is attributed to an increase in the alcohol cluster size by consumption of monomers as well as the growth of smaller clusters as the solution is cooled. It is argued that structural fluctuation in solutions, as in the pure alcohol, is determined by the rates of both the Debye-type and the faster polarizations in the ultraviscous state. 相似文献

Cellulose/Tamarind nut powder (TNP)/Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) nanocomposites were prepared by in situ generation of AgNPs using regeneration method, followed by solution casting method. In this, TNP was used as a reducing agent. These nanocomposites were characterized using FT-IR spectroscopy, XRD and SEM and studied their mechanical properties and antibacterial activity for medical and packing applications. The FT-IR spectral studies revealed the involvement of functional groups – Polyphenols, Flavonoids and –OH in the process of reducing the metal salts into metal nanoparticles. These nanocomposites showed good antibacterial activity against five bacteria. Improved mechanical properties with good antibacterial activities make these composites suitable for medical, food and packaging applications. 相似文献
