The method of laser photoelectron emission from metals in electrolyte solutions has been used to measure the rate constants w3 for the electrochemical reduction of simple organic radicals R to carbanions R. The following empirical rule has been established: the changes in the standard redox potential E° for R/R in series of organic radicals are equal to the changes in the potential corresponding to individual values of w3. On the basis of this rule and the value of E° for CH3 /CH3 E° values were obtained for C2H5, n-C3H7, n-C4H9, CH2OH, CH3CHOH, (CH3)2COH, CH2Cl, CHF2, CHFCl, CHCl2, CF2Cl, CFCl2, CF3, CCl3, C6H5, C6Cl5, and a scale of pK for the CH acids conjugate to R. Method for the synthesis of m-and p-isomers of 4-[2-(ethynylphenyl)vinyl]-2,2,5,5-tetramethyl-3-imidazoline-1-oxyl 3-oxides by the cross-coupling of 4-[2-(3-iodophenyl)vinyl]-and 4-[2-(4-iodophenyl)vinyl]-2,2,5,5-tetramethyl-3-imidazoline-1-oxyl 3-oxides with (trimethylsilyl)acetylene followed by desilylation was elaborated. The reactions at the CH-fragment of the ethynyl group were performed. The Mannich reaction proceeds with the loss of a spin label, whereas the oxidative homocoupling, with its retention. A synthesis and a study by method of measuring the differential capacitance on a stationary mercury drop of the adsorption of a number of cubane derivatives in a surface-inactive electrolyte are performed. It is established that the compounds studied exhibit a high surface activity. For bromine derivatives of cubane (4-bromomethoxycarbonylcubane, 4-bromohydroxymethylcubane) the formation of two-dimensional adsorption layers is discovered. Values of adsorption parameters for these compounds are evaluated with use made of the Frumkin isotherm.  相似文献

Photorefractive materials based on unplasticized polymers that have a high glass-transition temperature and the frozen random orientation of chromophores were prepared by layer casting. Under these conditions, only the third-order susceptibility has a nonzero value, increasing with an increase in the conjugation-chain length and reaching considerable values in the case of nanosized molecules, such as single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWNTs). In SWNT-containing polyvinylcarbazole, the photoelectric sensitivity and photorefractive characteristics were measured at 1064 nm. Using electric-field induced second-harmonic generation, the third-order susceptibility was estimated. In a composite containing 0.26 wt % SWNT, the diffraction grating is displaced by 5° relative to the interference pattern, the result that is presumably due to the close mobility of unlike charge carriers. Therefore, the beam-coupling gain coefficient Γ and the net gain Γ-α have low values, which are 53 and 42 cm?1, respectively, at 115 V/μm.  相似文献

The third-order susceptibility of vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene (VDF-TrFE) copolymer are analyzed by using the z-scan technique with a nanosecond laser as an excitation source. It is established that optical transmittance of the VDF-TrFE samples decreases after their polarization in an electric field.  相似文献

The photorefractive properties of polymer composites based on aromatic polyimide and single-wall carbon nanotubes are studied using radiation at a wavelength of 1064 nm. It is found that the nanotubes possess photoelectric sensitivity in this spectral region and that the kinetic photorefractive characteristics of the polymer composites are entirely determined by the photogeneration and charge transport characteristics of the layers. The two-beam gain coefficient of the signal beam measured for a composite consisting of aromatic polyimide and 0.25 wt % of single-wall carbon nanotubes in a constant electric field E0 = 79 V/μm is equal to 84 cm?1 and exceeds the optical absorption coefficient by 59 cm?1. The refractive index modulation is equal to Δn = 0.004 at E0 = 54 V/μm.  相似文献
