An efficient solid phase route for the synthesis of amide derivatives by the reaction of carboxylic acids with urea in the presence of catalytic amount of zirconyl chloride under microwave irradiation conditions was described.In this way,a range of interesting amide derivatives was obtained in good to excellent yields.The catalyst was recycled with fresh reactants and it gave almost similar results without significant loss of activity up to the third run. 相似文献

A novel series of 3-amino-2,2-dialcoxy-7,7-dimethyl-5-oxo-4-phenyl-3,4,5,6,7,8-hexahydro-2H-chromene-3-carbonitriles are synthesized by oxidative difunctionalization (geminal dialkoxylation and migration of the amino group) of 2-amino-4-aryl-7,7-dimethyyl-5-oxo-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-4H-chromene-3-carbonitriles in the presence of iodobenzenediacetate in water medium with excellent yields. All the newly synthesized compounds are characterized by IR, 1H and 13C NMR and Mass spectral data. The representative synthesized analogues are screened in vitro for antibacterial and antifungal activity using Gentamycin sulphate and Nystatin as standard drugs.

A series of novel substituted bis-benzimidazole derivatives were synthesized by reaction of 5,5′-methylenebis(2-hydroxybenzaldehyde) with various substituted o-phenylenediamines in glacial acetic acid. The structure of the newly synthesized compounds was elucidated by 1H and 13C NMR, FT-IR, and MS spectra, and their antimicrobial activity against gram positive and gram negative bacteria and antifungal activity were evaluated. The thienyl-substituted derivative showed significant activity against Bacillus licheniformis. Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumonia (bacteria), and Fusarium solani (fungi). The activities of the fluoro-substituted substituted derivative against some bacterial strains and of the thienyl-substituted derivative against fungi were found to be similar to those of standard drugs. 相似文献

A series of novel 9-{2-[(1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)methoxy]phenyl}-3,3,6,6-tetramethyl-3,4,5,6,7,9-hexahydro-1H-xanthene-1,8(2H)-dione derivatives were synthesized by a click chemistry approach. The structures of all the newly synthesized compounds were characterized by IR, MASS, 1H and 13C NMR spectral data. The final analogues showed good to excellent antibacterial and antifungal activities in an agar well diffusion assay. In the present study, a novel series of 1,2,3-triazole derivatives have been synthesized using click chemistry approach. The structures were confirmed by spectroscopic methods. The products were screened for their in vivo anti-inflammatory activity. The tested compounds 6a, 6f, 6g, 6i, 6j, 6n, and 6p, demonstrated potent anti-inflammatory activity compared to the reference drug ibuprofen. Molecular docking studies of these 1,2,3-triazole derivatives into the active site of human cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) (PDB code 4PH9) demonstrated good affinity for the enzyme and suggested binding properties similar to ibuprofen. 相似文献
