Mechanical interactions between cells and their microenvironment play an important role in determining cell fate, which is particularly relevant in metastasis, a process where cells invade tissue matrices with different mechanical properties. In vitro, type I collagen hydrogels have been commonly used for modeling the microenvironment due to its ubiquity in the human body. In this work, the combined influence of the stiffness of these hydrogels and their ultrastructure on the migration patterns of HCT-116 and HT-29 spheroids are analyzed. For this, six different types of pure type I collagen hydrogels by changing the collagen concentration and the gelation temperature are prepared. The stiffness of each sample is measured and its ultrastructure is characterized. Cell migration studies are then performed by seeding the spheroids in three different spatial conditions. It is shown that changes in the aforementioned parameters lead to differences in the mechanical stiffness of the matrices as well as the ultrastructure. These differences, in turn, lead to distinct cell migration patterns of HCT-116 and HT-29 spheroids in either of the spatial conditions tested. Based on these results, it is concluded that the stiffness and the ultrastructural organization of the matrix can actively modulate cell migration behavior in colorectal cancer spheroids.  相似文献

The purpose of this work is to develop simple and reproducible ways to fabricate carbon nanofibers (CNFs) electrodes. Disposable CNFs electrodes were fabricated after filtering CNFs through polytetrafluoroethylene filters (PTFE), using directly as electrodes these filters with the CNFs film. The electrochemical behaviour of CNFs/PTFE electrodes were tested with ferrocenemethanol and tris(2,2′‐bypyridyl)dichlororuthenium(II) (Ru(bipy)32+). As a proof of concept of the analytical usefulness of the CNFs/PFTE electrodes, the study of vitamin B12 was carried out. Multivariate calibrate has been successfully used to determine vitamin B12 in a complex medium with vitamins B1 and B6 as interferents.  相似文献

A new method for lead oxide (PbO) analysis in glasses, using a carbon screen printed electrode (SPE) is proposed. A suspension of the powdered glass sample in nitric acid is prepared using an ultrasonic probe, 100 µL of slurry are deposited on the SPE and the voltammetric measurement is carried out. Structural information of PbO in the glass matrix is obtained by CV. Lead quantification is performed by DPV. In the best conditions a LOD of 2.30 wt% of PbO was obtained. The method has been applied with good results in the analysis of historical glasses samples.  相似文献

The new diimine fluorescent ligand ACRI‐1 based on a central acridine yellow core is reported along with its coordination complex [Co2( ACRI‐1 )2] ( 1 ), a fluorescent weak ferromagnet. Due to the strong fluorescence of the acridine yellow fluorophore, it is not completely quenched when the ligand is coordinated to CoII. The magnetic properties of bulk complex 1 and its stability in solution have been studied. Complex 1 has been deposited on highly ordered pyrolitic graphite (HOGP) from solution. The thin films prepared have been characterized by AFM, time‐of‐flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (TOF‐SIMS), grazing incidence X‐ray diffraction (GIXRD), X‐ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS), X‐ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD) and theoretical calculations. The data show that the complex is robust and remains intact on the surface of graphite.  相似文献

The relationships between the market risk premium, its conditional variance and the risk-free rate in the Spanish stock market are studied in this paper. Using daily data, the above mentioned relations are analyzed by quasi maximum likelihood for an EGARCH-M(1,1) model with normal innovations and by nonparametric maximum likelihood for a semiparametric EGARCH-M(1,1) model with arbitrarily distributed innovations. It is worth mentioning that the conclusions differ from one model to the other.  相似文献

The depth distribution of B and Li have been studied in ZrO2 layers by GDMS. Zr alloy has been corroded to ZrO2 in an autoclave in solutions containing Li and B. Samples were collected at different reaction times and analyzed. The GDMS crater depth and the sputter rate could be determined by profilometry for the discharge conditions used. In the analyzed samples three zones could be identified: oxide, interface and zircaloy. The concentration of Li and B was followed in each of the three zones.  相似文献

Chitosan is a biopolymer, which has numerous applications in agriculture and agroindustries. Coating fruit and vegetables with chitosan has some positive advantages for the long-term storage of foods, because the film of chitosan provides a kind of an active package, which allows a gradual release of preservatives, thus inhibiting fungal growth and maintaining the external appearance of the fruit for a longer time In this study, two varieties of citrus, Fortune mandarins and Valencia oranges were coated with Biorend(R) (IDEBIO S.L., Salamanca, Spain) (a compound whose active molecule is chitosan), to investigate its effect on maturity, decay, and damage, and therefore, to find a better method for the long term storage of fruit. The effect of chitosan as a fungistatic was also studied. To that end, the fruit was maintained in a damp storage room, ideal conditions for the growth of fungi. The magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technique was used to monitor the process of ripening and decay in the citrus fruit that had been coated with chitosan. The dissolution of the chitosan on the mandarins and oranges produced excellent results in terms of percentage of weight loss, MRI, and visual appearance.  相似文献

Abstract

Mass spectrometric techniques are playing a predominant role for the determination of transuranium elements in bulk samples as well as in microparticles. Their applications to liquid and solid samples for the determination of the isotopic composition as well as for the concentration measurements are discussed. The new developments for the characterization of microparticles stemming from different release scenarios of radioactivity are considered. Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry and its hyphenation with other techniques for resolving isobaric interferences are presented. The application of glow discharge and laser ablation directly to solid samples is highlighted. Finally, the exploitation of secondary ion mass spectrometry, accelerator mass spectrometry, resonance ionization mass spectrometry, and thermal ionization mass spectrometry for the determination of the isotopic composition of uranium and plutonium in microparticles is illustrated.  相似文献
