We present an exact formula for the radius of robust feasibility of uncertain linear programs with a compact and convex uncertainty set. The radius of robust feasibility provides a value for the maximal ‘size’ of an uncertainty set under which robust feasibility of the uncertain linear program can be guaranteed. By considering spectrahedral uncertainty sets, we obtain numerically tractable radius formulas for commonly used uncertainty sets of robust optimization, such as ellipsoids, balls, polytopes and boxes. In these cases, we show that the radius of robust feasibility can be found by solving a linearly constrained convex quadratic program or a minimax linear program. The results are illustrated by calculating the radius of robust feasibility of uncertain linear programs for several different uncertainty sets.  相似文献

This paper deals with a nonsmooth semi-infinite multiobjective/vector optimization problem (SIMOP, for short). We first establish necessary and sufficient conditions for (local) strongly isolated solutions and (local) positively properly efficient solutions of an SIMOP. The purpose of this paper is to study the boundedness of the wavelet integral operator on the Besov, BMO, and H 1 spaces. The electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) offers a sustainable solution towards ammonia production but suffers poor reaction performance owing to preferential catalyst–H formation and the consequential hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Now, the Pt/Au electrocatalyst d-band structure is electronically modified using zeolitic imidazole framework (ZIF) to achieve a Faradaic efficiency (FE) of >44 % with high ammonia yield rate of >161 μg mgcat−1 h−1 under ambient conditions. The strategy lowers electrocatalyst d-band position to weaken H adsorption and concurrently creates electron-deficient sites to kinetically drive NRR by promoting catalyst–N2 interaction. The ZIF coating on the electrocatalyst doubles as a hydrophobic layer to suppress HER, further improving FE by >44-fold compared to without ZIF (ca. 1 %). The Pt/Au-NZIF interaction is key to enable strong N2 adsorption over H atom.  相似文献

The problem of interpolation of scattered data on the unit sphere has many applications in geodesy and Earth science in which the sphere is taken as a model for the Earth. Spherical radial basis functions provide a convenient tool for constructing the interpolant. However, the underlying linear systems tend to be ill-conditioned. In this paper, we present an additive Schwarz preconditioner for accelerating the solution process. An estimate for the condition number of the preconditioned system will be discussed. Numerical experiments using MAGSAT satellite data will be presented.  相似文献

We consider the exterior Neumann problem of the Laplacian with boundary condition on a prolate spheroid. We propose to use spherical radial basis functions in the solution of the boundary integral equation arising from the Dirichlet–to–Neumann map. Our approach is particularly suitable for handling of scattered data, e.g. satellite data. We also propose a preconditioning technique based on domain decomposition method to deal with ill-conditioned matrices arising from the approximation problem.  相似文献

Abstract— The tetracyclic furocoumarin 2H-benzofuro[3,2-g]-1-benzo-pyran-2-one and its 4 and/or II methyl analogues have been investigated in their DN A-photobinding properties. Spectrophotometric and radioactivity measurements show that these compounds exhibit prominent ability to bind to the polynucleotide double helix by covalent photoaddition of the furocoumarin 3,4 double bond.
Denaturation-renaturation experiments demonstrate that no cross-link of DNA chains occurs. Benzopsoralens can thus be considered as a new class of monofunctional DNA-photobinding agents.  相似文献
