Under O2, the Aspidosperma alkaloid tabersonine ( 1 ) was converted by a crude enzyme preparation from leaves of mature plants of Catharanthus roseus G DON into the trimeric 3-hydroxy-14′-(3α″-tabersonyl)voafrine B ( 4 ) which was easily reduced by NaBH4 to 14′-(3α″-tabersonyl)voafrine B ( = tertabersonine; 5 ). Compounds such as 4 and 5 are the first trimeric alkaloids in the series of monoterpenoid indole alkaloids.  相似文献

We present an analysis of Szilard's one-molecule Maxwell's demon, including a detailed entropy accounting, that suggests a general theory of the entropy cost of information. It is shown that the entropy of the demon increases during the expansion step, due to the decoupling of the molecule from the measurement information. It is also shown that there is an entropy symmetry between the measurement and erasure steps, whereby the two steps additivelv share a constant entropy change, but the proportion that occurs during each of the two steps is arbitrary. Therefore the measurement step may be accompanied by an entropy increase, a decrease, or no change at all, and likewise for the erasure step. Generalizing beyond the demon, decorrelation between a physical system and information about that system always causes an entropy increase in the joint system comprised of both the original system and the information. Decorrelation causes a net entropy increase in the universe unless, as in the Szilard demon, the information is used to decrease entropy elsewhere before the correlation is lost. Thus, information is thermodynamically costly precisely to the extent that it is not used to obtain work from the measured system.  相似文献

tran-3-(3,4-Dihyroxyphenyl)-4-methyl-1-(n-propyl)pyrrolidine 13 trans-3-(3-Hydroxyphenyl)-4-methyl-1(n-propy)pyrrolidine 14 were synthesized and evaluated for dopaminergic activity. The stereochemical assignments of 13 and 14 were determined by nmr. Both 13 and 14 were either inactive or weakly active in most dopaminergic tests.  相似文献

Hydrothermal templating of mesoporous molecular sieves by nonionic triblock copolymers [poly(oxyethylene)-poly(oxypropylene)-poly(oxyethylene) (PEO-PPO-PEO)] at specific block lengths of EO(20)PO(70)EO(20) and selected 2 M HCl dosage (pH -0.3) caused the formation of micrometer-sized SBA-15 hexagons with well-ordered hexagonal pore channels (pore size and wall thickness of approximately 6 nm and pore-to-pore distance of approximately 12 nm) after template removal. For a beneficial lower surface energy, these {10} laterally coalesced hexagons tend to stack imperfectly over the base into towerlike entities, leaving dislocations and faults within the single domain thus formed. Evidence for the mechanism of Brownian motion/coalescence of the hexagonal-mesophase particulates, previously suggested for MCM-41 accretion in the presence of cationic surfactant, is more clearly identifiable in the present low-pH case of amphiphilic block copolymer templates and linear silica oligomers.  相似文献
