A textural analysis of extruded rods of material with tetradymite (Bi2Te3) structure is conducted by constructing the distribution of the pole density of the (0001) and (1120) planes. The distribution of the poles of the planes is represented by a solid of revolution, and the pole density, which is a function of the angle () of the deviation of the normals to hi from the extrusion axis, is determined by the diffraction method of specimen inclination using the diffracted ray intensity. It proves possible to identify textural components, and to determine how many there are and the degree of perfection of this method. A technique is worked out for the quantitative estimate of the average values of the components of the conductivity tensor in the grains, and the contribution of the texture to the macroscopic properties of the material is analyzed. To investigate the thin layers (for example, the layerwise distribution of texture in rods of rectangular cross section) we used the method of inverse pole diagrams, where the probability of coincidence of the hi plane with the working surface of the specimen is analyzed.Translated from Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedenii, Fizika, No. 12, pp. 33–39, December, 1989. 相似文献

Exchange reactions that may proceed in the course of polycondensation during formation of a polymer from 4,4′-difluorobenzophenone and 4,4′-(isopropylidene)diphenol have been studied. It has been shown that the molecular mass of the polymer decreases under the action of 4,4′-(isopropylidene)diphenol diphenolate. The nucleophilic substitution of the activated aryl halide in DMAA in the presence of potassium carbonate yields high-molecular-mass block copoly(arylene ether ketones) based on 4,4′-difluorobenzophenone and a number of bisphenols. It was demonstrated the synthetic procedure and the chemical structure of block copoly(arylene ether ketones) strongly affect the onset temperature of softening and the mechanical characteristics of the films based on these polymers. 相似文献

The coordinate transformation approach is applied for the design of an optical mode adaptor between two different width waveguides in the near IR telecom optical domain. The control of the mode profile in the adaptor is achieved by considering a composite waveguide consisting of a thin metamaterial (MM) layer intercalated between 2???m thick SU8 photoresist slab and a glass substrate. We demonstrate that intercalated metafilm enables the realization of a space coordinate transformation and allows a precise control of the light propagation in the composite waveguide. Functional nutrition is a valuable supplementation to dietary therapy. Functional foods are enriched with biologically active substances. Plant polyphenols attract particular attention due to multiple beneficial properties attributed to their high antioxidant and other biological activities. We assessed the effect of grape polyphenols on the life span of C57BL/6 mice and on behavioral and neuroinflammatory alterations in a transgenic mouse model of Parkinson disease (PD) with overexpression of the A53T-mutant human α-synuclein. C57BL/6 mice were given a dietary supplement containing grape polyphenol concentrate (GPC—1.5 mL/kg/day) with drinking water from the age of 6–8 weeks for life. Transgenic PD mice received GPC beginning at the age of 10 weeks for four months. GPC significantly influenced the cumulative proportion of surviving and substantially augmented the average life span in mice. In the transgenic PD model, the grape polyphenol (GP) diet enhanced memory reconsolidation and diminished memory extinction in a passive avoidance test. Behavioral effects of GP treatment were accompanied by a decrease in α-synuclein accumulation in the frontal cortex and a reduction in the expression of neuroinflammatory markers (IBA1 and CD54) in the frontal cortex and hippocampus. Thus, a GP-rich diet is recommended as promising functional nutrition for aging people and patients with neurodegenerative disorders. 相似文献

The polycondensation of 2-β-oxyethyl-3,3-bis(4-oxyphenyl)phthalimidine with 4,4′-difluorobenzophenone proceeding via the nucleophilic substitution of the activated halogen atom in aryl halide has been studied. Conditions ensuring formation of noncrosslinked high-molecular-mass homo- and copoly(arylene ether ketones) containing side alcoholic hydroxyl groups (4,4′-difluorobenzophenone: a mixture of bisphenols: K2CO3: Na2CO3 = 1: 1: 1: 0.05) have been established. The polymers have M w = (20–88.7) × 103 and show good solubility in organic solvents; their onset temperatures of softening are in the range 195–250°C.
