Reaction of C60 fullerene with ferrocene in the presence of aluminum chloride and aluminum in an inert atmosphere gave ferrocenyl-substituted fullerene 2C60 ·1.5(C5H5)2Fe ·3H2O. The product is a thermally stable iron-containing carbon cage in which the intersphere cavity is formed by three C60 polyhedra and is closed by cyclopentadienyl ligands via formation of four carbon-carbon bonds. 相似文献

In this paper we present scanning tunneling microscopy/spectroscopy investigations of multiwall carbon nanotube junctions.
We concentrated on bent and narrowing junctions, which my be formed by introducing pentagon–heptagon defects into a hexagonal
network of a carbon nanotube. It was expected that the defects introduced to the nanotube could cause changes in the local
density of states. The scanning tunneling spectroscopy results were used to search for and identify these defects. We also
discuss a hypothesis for a combination of a telescope junction and a pentagon–heptagon induced junction.

Fullerences C60 with adamantane (C10H16), hexamethylotetramine (HMT, C6H12N4) or 1,4-diazabicyclooctane (DABCO, C6H12N2) crystallize, at the relative concentration C60/guest=2/1, in the pseudotetragonal lattice in which C60 retains almost the same positions as in pure fullerides. The ‘guest’ molecules occupy the octahedral interstitial sites. The mixed crystals which exhibit interesting physical properties are thermally unstable. The decomposition starts at 40–50°C. 相似文献

We report on photoluminescence (PL) measurements of a GaAs/AlGaAs double quantum well (DQW) in high magnetic fields. Measurements were carried out on a selectively contacted symmetric p-δn-DQW-δn-p structure, which allows a variation of the electron density in DQW by a p–n bias and simultaneously a tilting of DQW, when a p–p bias is applied. Attention was paid to phenomena in in-plane magnetic fields, theoretically studied by Huang and Lyo (HL), [Phys. Rev. B 59, (1999) 7600]. In this paper, we compare our results for both symmetric and asymmetric DQWs with the theoretical model made by HL. Whereas the spectra from a symmetric DQW fully confirmed the theoretical predictions, the results gained from DQW with an electric-field-induced asymmetry did not allow a proper study of anticipated effects. The reasons for that are discussed. 相似文献

The solid solution crystals, La1–xNdxGaO3 and La1–xPrxGaO3 have been studied by differential scanning calorimetry method; the crystals exhibit the first order phase transition, the
temperature of the transition linearly increases with the concentration of Pr or Nd. The structure of the crystals has been
determined by X-ray diffraction. The correlation between the phase transition temperature and crystalline structure at the
temperature of the phase transition in both solid solution families is discussed.

The effect of absorbed hydrogen on the145Nd NMR in Nd15Fe77B8 has been investigated at helium temperatures. Hydrogen absorption is accompanied by a drop of NMR frequencies and changes
in the quadrupole splitting. The drop of NMR frequencies is related to the lattice expansion. The influence of the hydrogen
on the spin reorientation can be responsible for the changes in the quadrupole splitting.

We report some results of magnetoabsorption and magnetoreflectivity measurements performed on CdMnTe crystals in magnetic field up to 30 T. The exciton energy at low fields in materials containing magnetic ions is calculated on the basis of the Altarelli-Lipari model and compared with the experimental results. It is shown that spin mixing in degenerate bands strongly affects magnetoabsorption. 相似文献

The aim of this short note is to generalise the result of Rampersad–Shallit saying that an automatic sequence and a Sturmian sequence cannot have arbitrarily long common factors. We show that the same result holds if a Sturmian sequence is replaced by an arbitrary sequence whose terms are given by a generalised polynomial (i.e., an expression involving algebraic operations and the floor function) that is not periodic except for a set of density zero. 相似文献
