Spectroscopic investigation of the Dergaon meteorite with reference to 10 μm and 20 μm bands

Analysis of a part of the meteorite which fell at Dergaon (India) on March 2, 16.40 local time (2001) is presented with the help of FTIR, absorption and atomic spectra. The FTIR spectrum exhibits prominent absorption bands in the region 800–1100 cm⁻¹, originating from the valence vibration of SiO⁴, a basic component of the silicate lattice.     

2-芳基硫杂脯氨酸结构特征的研究

对12种2-芳基硫杂脯氨酸进行了红外光谱和核磁共振谱测定,对其中两个化合物作了质谱测定。结果表明,这类化合物固态时主要以两性离子形式存在;有较强的分子离子峰,是一类较稳定的化合物。它们还存在一对非对映异构体,芳环上的取代基对芳环电子云密度的影响较大,而对四氢噻唑环的影响较小。     

Novel gallium-mediated C3-allylation of indoles and pyrroles in aqueous media promoted by Bu4NBr

A mild and efficient protocol for the coupling of indoles and pyrroles with allyl halides such as allyl bromide, crotyl bromide and propargyl bromide in the presence of gallium metal in a Bu₄NBr-DMF-H₂O system has been developed. The reaction is equally effective when cadmium is used in lieu of gallium and the corresponding 3-allyl indoles and 3-allyl pyrroles were obtained in almost comparable yields.     

Premicellar and micelle formation behavior of aqueous anionic surfactants in the presence of triphenylmethane dyes: protonation of dye in ion pair micelles

The premicellar and micelle formation behaviors of four cationic triphenylmethane dyes, viz, Pararosaniline (RN), Crystal violet (CV), Ethyl violet (EV), and Malachite green (MG), in aqueous anionic surfactant solutions of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDBS), and sodium dodecyl sulfonate (SDSN) have been studied by spectral and surface tension measurements. The study was carried out within a pH range where the dyes are stable in their quinoid forms. The dyes have been found to form dye–surfactant ion pairs (DSIPs) with the surfactants, at the surfactant concentrations well below their critical micelle concentration, CMC*. The DSIPs behave like nonionic surfactants and form an air–water interfacial monolayer. The DSIPs have a lower critical micelle concentration (CMC_IP), greater efficiency, and lower effectiveness than the corresponding pure surfactants. As the surfactant concentration is increased below the CMC*, the DSIPs start forming micelles of their own where the dye gets protonated and exists as a protonated dye–surfactant ion pair (PDSIP) in the ion pair micelles. As the concentration of the surfactant exceeds the CMC* of the pure surfactant, the protonation reverses gradually with the dye remaining in the micelles in solubilized form and the DSIPs in the air–water interfacial monolayer are replaced by pure surfactants. Hetero-Polar Sextuple Bond: A Relativistic Quantum Chemical Study**

Number of bonds formed by sharing an electron pair between two atoms is not restricted to one, it can go beyond four and six is the maximum. While homopolar sextuple bond in Mo₂ and W₂ has been reported, such a high bond order in heteropolar diatomics has remained elusive. In the pursuit of the sextuple bond in polar diatomics, the present study depicts the existence of such multiple bonds in Rhodium-Scandium hetero-diatom based on relativistic quantum chemical calculations. The bonding comprises of three normal electron sharing covalent bonds and three dative covalent bonds.     

A comparative study on structural,morphological and luminescence characteristics of Zn3(VO4)2 phosphor prepared via hydrothermal and citrate-gel combustion routes

Comparison of structural, morphological and spectroscopic properties of zinc vanadate Zn₃(VO₄)₂ phosphor synthesized via two different methods, viz. citrate-gel combustion and hydrothermal reaction, is presented. Highly crystalline and pure phase micro-rods are achieved by citrate-gel combustion route. The hydrothermal reaction products exhibit ribbon like structures. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic investigation reveals the presence of multiple oxidation states of vanadium in the hydrothermally synthesized phosphor. Luminescence properties have also been compared and the effect of divalent cationic substitution (Ca, Mg) is presented.     

NICOLET定量分析程序及ATR技术的应用研究——研究柞丝绸在紫外光辐照下结构的变化

采用ATR技术测定柞丝绸随紫外光辐照时间的增加,某些结构特征吸收强度的变化规律,研究了柞丝绸经辐照后结构的改变及泛黄的机理。采用特征峰高比值与参比峰高比值的办法观测强度的改变。峰高值则是应用改进的NICOLET定量分析程序(宏指令方式)计算的,改进后的程序操作简便,运算快、能连续地调出已存入定量程序盘中的光谱图,自动算出吸收强度并打印结果。     

Phosphine-catalyzed annulation of thioamides and 2-alkynoates: a new synthesis of thiazolines

The annulation of thioamides with 2-alkynoates and 2,3-dienoates under the catalysis of tri-n-butylphosphine was described. The annulation reaction provided a new entry to thiazolines, particularly those with 2-aryl substituents.     

差谱技术用于塑料焊接剂的结构鉴定

本文利用ＮＩＣＯＬＥＴ２０ＤＸＢ傅里叶变换红外光谱仪的差减光谱（差谱）软件对复杂混合物的光谱成功地进行了二次光谱图的差减，得到了很好的单一组分的红外光谱图，从而鉴定了塑料焊接剂主成分的结构。
