Cu-MOF-Catalyzed Carboxylation of Alkynes and Epoxides

The catalytic activity of copper-containing heterogeneous catalysts, in particular metal-organic frameworks, zeolites, and alumina-supported nanoparticles, in the carboxylation of terminal alkynes and oxiranes has been evaluated. Temperature dependences of these reactions have been studied.

Mono- and Diamination of 4,6-Dichloropyrimidine, 2,6-Dichloropyrazine and 1,3-Dichloroisoquinoline with Adamantane-Containing Amines

N-heteroaryl substituted adamantane-containing amines are of substantial interest for their perspective antiviral and psychotherapeutic activities. Chlorine atom at alpha-position of N-heterocycles has been substituted by the amino group using convenient nucleophilic substitution reactions with a series of adamantylalkylamines. The prototropic equilibrium in these compounds was studied using NMR spectroscopy. The introduction of the second amino substituent in 4-amino-6-chloropyrimidine, 2-amino-chloropyrazine, and 1-amino-3-chloroisoquinoline was achieved using Pd(0) catalysis.     

Room temperature MgI2-catalyzed Friedel–Crafts reaction between electron-rich (het)arenes and ethyl glyoxylate

Magnesium iodide-catalyzed addition of electron-rich (het)arenes to ethyl glyoxylate proceeds at room temperature with high chemoselectivity to afford ethyl 2-(het)aryl- 2-hydroxyacetates in yields up to 95%.

Abstract

Addition of P-halogenophosphaalkenes to I-alkoxyalkynes provides either 2-phosphabutadienes 2 or P(II1)-substituted allenes 3. The reaction o f P-halogenophosphaalkenes I with I-aminoalkynes leads to the phosphetines 4 wa 5 - the product of 1,2-addition reaction.
