A technique for variation of the temperature factor of free-flight models by varying their initial temperature is described. An experiment on a ballistic range is carried out with a free-flying supersonic blunt cone with a half-angle of 15° at a Mach number of 2.3. The flow at the cone base is studied in the transition range (from the laminar to turbulent flow) of Reynolds numbers. The base flow pattern is determined from the shadowgraphs of the flow about the models. The drag coefficient of the blunt cone at a zero angle of attack is found by processing trajectory data. It is found that the near wake geometries and the drag coefficients of the models tested at the laboratory temperature and a temperature of 120 K differ. Explanations of this effect are given. 相似文献

Electrospray ionization Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (ESI-FTICRMS) has been used to determine the mass of a double-stranded 500 base-pair (bp) polymerase chain reaction (PCR) product with an average theoretical mass of the blunt-ended (i.e. unadenylated) species of 308 859.35 Da. The PCR product was generated from the linearized bacteriophage Lambda genome which is a double-stranded template. Utilization of ethanol precipitation in tandem with a rapid microdialysis step to purify and desalt the PCR product was crucial to obtain a precise mass measurement. The PCR product (0.8 pmol/μL) was electrosprayed from a solution containing 75% acetonitrile, 25 mM piperidine, and 25 mM imidazole and was infused at a rate of 200 nL/min. The average molecular mass and the corresponding precision were determined using the charge-states ranging from 172 to 235 net negative charges. The experimental mass and corresponding precision (reported as the 95% confidence interval of the mean) was 309 406 +/- 27 Da (87 ppm). The mass accuracy was compromised due to the fact that the PCR generates multiple products when using Taq polymerase due to the non-template directed 3'-adenylation. This results in a mixture of three PCR products with nearly identical mass (i.e. blunt-ended, mono-adenylated and di-adenylated) with unknown relative abundances that were not resolved in the spectrum. Thus, the experimental mass will be a weighted average of the three species which, under our experimental conditions, reflects a nearly equal concentration of the mono- and di-adenylated species. This report demonstrates that precise mass measurements of PCR products up to 309 kDa (500 bp) can be routinely obtained by ESI-FTICR requiring low femtomole amounts. The interaction of C-atoms and CHn-radicals with uncleaned and argon cleaned silicon substrate and with diamond surface after H-treatment have been studied in situ by XPS and Auger spectroscopy. It was found the formation of a new chemical surface state of carbon atoms in the case of carbon atoms and radicals interaction with cleaned silicon. The same chemical state was revealed on the H-treated diamond surface. Graphite-like structure of carbon atoms was observed on the surface of unlearned silicon and H-treated diamond after interaction with carbon atoms and radicals. N(E) C KVV Auger spectrum for the new chemical state of carbon atoms significantly differs from typical spectra for sp2- and sp3-bonded carbon materials. The high energy part of this spectrum was interpreted under the hypothesis of sp3-bonded carbon atoms but with shifted fermi level position. 相似文献

Nonlinear optical absorption properties of silicate glasses doped by the PbS nanocrystals were investigated by means of the picosecond pump-probe absorption spectroscopy and absorption bleaching technique. The glass samples were used as saturable absorbers for passive mode-locking of Nd:YAG and Nd:glass lasers. Application of the PbS doped glass together with the active mode-locking and laser cavity quality control enabled the stable of generation of 28 ps and 5 ps duration pulses in Nd:YAG and Nd:glass lasers respectively. Inelastic interactions of 4He nuclei at the incident momentum of 4.5 GeV/c)/nucleon with pure Li, C, Al, Cu and Pb targets were studied in the SKM-200 streamer chamber. Cross sections and their dependence on the target mass number for fragmentation processes were obtained. The multiplicities, transverse momenta and rapidities of negative pions as well as their correlations were analyzed separately for “central” and “peripheral” collisions. This paper describes the investigation of the potential of a quadrupole orthogonal acceleration time-of-flight mass spectrometer (Q-TOF) equipped with an atmospheric pressure ionisation interface for quantitative measurements of small molecules separated by reversed phase liquid chromatography. To this end, the detection limits and linear dynamic range in particular were studied in an LC/MS/MS experiment using 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine standards and 3,4-methylenedioxyethylamphetamine for internal standardisation. In a second phase, the experiment was repeated with real biological extracts (whole blood, serum, and vitreous humour). A calibration for 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine and its metabolite 3,4-methylenedioxyamphetamine was prepared in each of these matrices again using 3,4-methylenedioxyethylamphetamine as internal standard. The resulting quantitative data were compared with those obtained by liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection for the same extracts. The Q-TOF results revealed excellent sensitivity and a linear dynamic range of nearly four decades (2-10 000 pg on-column, r(2) = 0.9998, 1/x weighting). Furthermore, all the calibration curves prepared in biological material were superimposable, LC/MS/MS and LC-fluorescence, and the quantitative results for actual samples compared very favourably. It was concluded that the Q-TOF achieves a linear dynamic range for quantitative LC/MS/MS work exceeding that of fluorescence detection and at much better absolute sensitivity. Summary: Experimentally it is shown that, under irradiation in an atmosphere of non‐saturated vinylidene chloride vapors, a polymeric layer is formed on the surface of oxidized titanium samples. The thickness of this layer increases with the increase of thickness of the oxide film. Such a dependence corresponds to the current understanding of the mechanism of formation and migration of the active excited centers that initiate grafted polymerization.

Ab initio SCF calculations including different basis sets have been performed for the ground state of the LiBO2 molecule. It is shown that the bent structure of the LiBO2 molecule has a lower energy than the linear structure, which is in agreement with Walsh's rules. The calculations without polarization function failed to predict this result. 相似文献
