Mössbauer measurements in mixed spinel ferrite Gax Fe1–x Ni Cr O4 (0x0.8), carried out between 4.2 and 298°K, show the presence of entropic spins in this system. Recent Monte Carlo calculations /4/ have predicted the presence of such spins in a frustrated spin glass lattice.  相似文献

57Fe Mössbauer and magnetization studies on a new series Fe4–2xRuxSix (1.0x1.7) are reported. The system is seen to transform from a collinear ferromagnet for x1.2 to a cluster spin glass for x>=1.54 In the intermediate region the magnetic behaviour of the system, as probed by the Mössbauer effect, is dominated by the presence of clusters and their dynamics. The alloys have large ordering temperatures ( 750 K) throughout the series except for x>1.54 where they drop sharply. The moment values, in contrast, fall sharply from 4.8B at x=1 to 0.5B at x=1.6C. The average value of the HF at57Fe measured at 15 K does not change significantly throughout the series.  相似文献

The valence state of Yb in some of its intermetallics, YbNi2Ge2, YbCu2Si2 and YbPd2Si2 has been investigated by LIII(Yb) absorption edges and X-ray pnotoelectron spectra in the 4f and 4d regions. These studies establish the presence of mixed valence in all three systems and illustrate the utility of 4f and 4d spectra in the study of mixed valence in Yb compounds.  相似文献

Bottom‐up assembly by dielectrophoresis (DEP) has emerged in recent years as a viable alternative to conventional top–down fabrication of electronic devices from nanomaterials, particularly carbon nanotubes and graphene. Here, we demonstrate how this technique can be extended to fabricate devices containing carbon nanotubes and graphene suspended between two electrodes over a back‐gate electrode. The suspended device geometry is critical for the development of nano‐electromechanical devices and to extract maximum performance out of electronic and optoelectronic devices. The ester-based vanadium complexes, bis(methylacetoacetato) oxovanadium (IV), bis(ethylacetoacetato) oxovanadium(IV) and bis(ethylbenzoylacetato) oxovanadium(IV), have been prepared and characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. The biological efficacies of the complexes were investigated. These complexes possess substantial glucose lowering ability and also show improved glucose tolerance effect.  相似文献

With the aim of finding a suitable electrocatalyst for the efficient reduction of carbon dioxide, the electrochemistry of nickel (II) complex of 1,3,6,9,11,14-hexaazatricyclo [12·2·1·1] octadecane was studied using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and controlled-potential electrolysis (CPE) techniques in the presence and absence of CO2 in 100% H2O, CH3CN-H2O mixtures (20–100%) and DMF-H2O (70–100%) mixtures. The efficiency of this process is determined using the coulometry technique. CO is the major product in the gaseous phase and HCOOH the sole product formed in the solution phase.  相似文献
