The preparation of sol–gel-derived bioactive glass thin films coated on glass is described. Biogel is one of the important modern materials, which are applied in medicine to reduce disability and thus to improve the level of human life. A patient with implanted biogel (i.e. bone, tooth) may be subjected to ionizing radiation during X-ray examination or treatment of cancer. Such an irradiation can generate electron and hole traps in the insulator surface layer. Changes in the microstructure of the biogel surface resulting from irradiation were observed using luminescence methods. Results from luminescence measurements after irradiation of a set of biogel samples are discussed in terms of point defects in the glass structure. 相似文献

We have investigated the interactions of 10.6 GeV/n Au in nuclear emulsion. Two methods of separating interactions into those
with hydrogen, light (C,N,O) and heavy (Ag,Br) target nuclei were used, giving almost identical results, which strengthened
our confidence in the correctness of these methods. We also measured the angular distributions of singly and multiply charged
relativistic particles emitted from the interaction vertices and the charges of the multiply charged projectile fragments.
The fragmentation of the projectile Au nuclei and of the target nuclei were analyzed. The multiparticle production was studied
as a function of the mass of the target nucleus. The multiplicity and the pseudorapidity distributions of relativistic singly
charged particles were compared with the predictions of the RQMD Model.

The transverse momentum (pt) distributions of helium fragments from gold fragmentation on different nuclei of nuclear emulsion have been measured and a clear increase of average p t with target mass is seen. The p t distributions can be parameterized by a sum of three exponential functions of the form $\sim {\rm exp}(-p_{t}^{2}/B_{i})$ . The differences in p t distributions in interactions on different targets can be explained by different contributions of the three exponential functions. These contributions depend on the projectile breakup in the collision, and for a given degree of the projectile breakup do not depend on the target mass. 相似文献

The degree of excitation of the emulsion target nuclei due to nuclear interactions of oxygen and sulfur projectiles at 200 GeV/nucleon incident energy has been investigated. Using the plausible assumption that the numberN b of slow particles emitted from the struck target nucleus can be interpreted as a measure of the temperatureT of the residual nucleus, we have found that there exists a critical temperatureT c of the excited target nucleus. For Ag and Br target nuclei this temperature corresponds to <N b>≌12 and it is attained when the impact parameters are less than about 4 fm. 相似文献

The fluctuations of produced particles are investigated in central collisions of proton, oxygen and sulphur projectiles with (Ag,Br) target nuclei at 200 GeV per nucleon. The analysis is carried out in terms of factorial moments and correlation integrals in different pseudorapidity regions. Evidence is found for nonstatistical fluctuations. These fluctuations depend weakly on the phase space, although a slightly stronger effect is seen in the forward pseudorapidity region. The dependence of the observed effect on the mass of the projectile particle disagrees with the expectations of superposition models. The results of this analysis indicate that a self-similar cascade process is the origin of the fluctuations, even though the association of the observed effect with the occurence of a second order phase transition cannot be definitely ruled out. 相似文献
