Simple Zeros of the Riemann Zeta-Function   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Assuming the Riemann Hypothesis, Montgomery showed by meansof his pair correlation method that at least two-thirds of thezeros of Riemann's zeta-function are simple. Later he and Taylorimproved this to 67.25 percent and, more recently, Cheer andGoldston increased the percentage to 67.2753. Here we proveby a new method that if the Riemann and Generalized LindelöofHypotheses hold, then at least 70.3704 percent of the zerosare simple and at least 84.5679 percent are distinct. Continuous observation of a time independent projection operator is known to prevent change of state (the quantum Zeno paradox). Many corporations try to overcome vulnerabilities by external alliances with other corporations. This paper concentrates on the merger case in member states of the European Community under the premise that synergies are to be expected from such a transaction. In this context synergy will be understood as the difference between the capitalized earning power of the merger firm and the sum of the capitalized earning powers the companies could expect when operating alone. This article presents a method to allocate the financial effect to the partners in a merger. Based on the formal procedure of the Analytic Hierarchy Process, the method allocates synergy to the partners according to the impact intensities of their performance potentials on this synergistic effect.  相似文献

ac Conductivity measurements are carried out across the metal to insulator transition in NiAl0.7Cr0.7Fe0.6O4. The low frequency data is analyzed using Summerfield scaling theory for hopping conductivity. The exponent of the scaling behavior has significantly different values in the conducting and insulating regimes. The hopping frequency and the zero frequency conductivity are found to increase with temperature, slowly in the metallic regime and rapidly in the insulating regime.  相似文献

Several methods for quantitative determination of peroxomonosulfate in detergents, in the presence of other oxidants, have been investigated. The photometric technique applied was based on the well-known starch-iodine reaction. The oxidizing agent was quantified by determining the amount of iodine produced. The influence of other oxidants present was examined. Ion analysis was performed by capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) and ion chromatography (IC). Because peroxomonosulfate in detergents is always accompanied by sulfate, the main goal was to separate the sulfur species without causing the decomposition of the unstable peroxomonosulfate ion. The sulfur species could be separated within less than 4 min by CZE with a pyromellitic acid electrolyte at pH 3.5 to 5.0. Sulfate and peroxomonosulfate were separated by IC within 11 min by use of a phthalic acid mobile phase at pH 3.0. The peroxomonosulfate content was determined by calibration. The calibration plot was linear from 5 to 50 microg mL(-1) SO5(2-) for IC and from 7.3 to 182.3 microg mL(-1) SO5(2-) (corresponding to 20 to 500 microg mL(-1) triple salt) for CZE.  相似文献
