Background
Fully functional HIV-1-specific CD8 and CD4 effector T-cell responses are vital to the containment of viral activity and disease progression. These responses are lacking in HIV-1-infected patients with progressive disease. We attempted to augment fully functional HIV-1-specific CD8 and CD4 effector T-cell responses in patients with advanced chronic HIV-1 infection. 相似文献5.

Studies of vortex dynamics and pinning were conducted in irradiated Y1Ba2Cu3O7 single crystals by observing the decay of supercurrents with time. The materials contained either point-like defects from proton irradiation or line-like defects from irradiation with energetic heavy ions. Analysis of the first case gives clear support for collective creep theory. With linear defects, the experiments give evidence for thermal smearing of the vortex pinning potential at higher temperatures, as predicted theoretically. 相似文献

The effects of radiation-induced solute redistribution and diffusion are studied for 30 keV Mn implants in nickel irradiated with 75 keV Ni+ ions at 500°C. The peak of the Mn implant profile is driven to greater depth with increasing irradiation dose until a steady-state solute profile is established. The rate of drift of Mn atoms and their diffusion coefficient is related to the distribution of point-defects in the nickel under irradiation. 相似文献

We have directly time resolved the lattice motions associated with the formation of the self-trapped exciton in the quasi-one-dimensional system [Pt(en)(2)] [Pt(en)2Br2];(PF6)(4) ( en = ethylene-diamine, C2H8N2), using femtosecond impulsive excitation techniques. A strongly damped, low-frequency wave packet modulation at approximately 110 cm(-1) accompanies the formation of the self-trapped exciton on a approximately 200 fs time scale following excitation of the intervalence charge-transfer transition. Coherent oscillations at the ground state vibrational frequency and its harmonics are also detected. 相似文献
