An importance sampling technique for linear and non-linear dynamical systems subjected to random excitations is presented. Applying a transformation of probability measures, controls are introduced in the system of Itô stochastic differential equations such that the sample trajectories can be influenced in a predetermined way. As is shown, there exist controls resulting in unbiased zero-variance estimators. However, these optimal controls are in general not accessible and have to be replaced by sub-optimal ones derived from an optimization procedure analogous to the first order reliability method known from time-invariant problems. The efficiency of the proposed Monte Carlo simulation technique is demonstrated by estimating first-passage probabilities of typical oscillators under external white-noise excitation.  相似文献

A new apparatus for measuring the magnetic properties of metal clusters has been constructed. The technique involves the conventional Stern-Gerlach deflection scheme together with modern pulsed laser vaporization source technology and time of flight mass spectrometry. High field seeking monodirectional deflections have been measured for cobalt clusters containing between 40 and 400 atoms. The measured magnetic moments per atom are found to be lower than the known values for the bulk. Special attention has been given to velocity measurements of the metal clusters and the carrier gas atoms in the beam. The residence time of the particles in the source cavity has been measured.  相似文献

Correlations between protons are studied in the target fragmentation region of reactions of protons and16O with C, Cu, Ag, Au and of32S with Al and Au at 200A GeV. The emitted protons were measured with the Plastic Ball detector in the WA80 experiment at the CERN SPS. The comparison of the correlation function with calculations, assuming a spherical, gaussian shaped source with a lifetime τ=0 fm/c, allows the extraction of radius parameters. The values are very close to those expected from the geometry of the target nuclei and increase with the target mass as αA Target 1/3 . Even in proton induced reactions the whole target nucleus is involved. The dependence of the radii on centrality, polar angleθ lab, and energy, and their relation to measured proton yields are presented.  相似文献

Optically Active 3-Amino-2H-azirines as Synthons for Enantiomerically Pure αα-Disubstiuted α-Amino Acids: Syntheses of Isovaline Synthons and a Segment of Trichotoxin A-50 The synthesis of a novel 3-amino-2-methyl-2-[2-(phenylsulfonyl)ethyl]-2H-azirine derivative 12 with a chiral substituent at the amino group is described. Chromatographic separation of the diastereoisomer mixture gave pure diastereoisomers which, after an electrochemical cleavage of the phenylsulfonyl group, yielded the (S)- and (R)-isovalin (Iva) synthons 13a and 13b , respectively. The absolute configuration of the precursor molecule 12b was established by X-ray crystallography. The Iva synthons were successfully used in the synthesis of the C-terminal pentapeptide Z-Leu-Aib-(R)-Iva-Gln-Valol of the peptaibole Trichotoxin A-50 and its epimer.  相似文献
