The weakly pinned single crystals of the hexagonal 2H-NbSe2 compound have emerged as prototypes for determining and characterizing the phase boundaries of the possible order-disorder
transformations in the vortex matter. We present here a status report based on the ac and dc magnetization measurements of
the peak effect phenomenon in three crystals of 2H-NbSe2, in which the critical current densities vary over two orders of magnitude. We sketch the generic vortex phase diagram of
a weakly pinned superconductor, which also utilizes theoretical proposals. We also establish the connection between the metastability

The current study describes the synthesis, electrochemical, computational, and photochemical properties of octa (3-hydroxypropylthio) substituted cobalt (II) ( 4 ), copper (II) ( 5 ), nickel (II) ( 6 ) and zinc(II) ( 7 ) phthalocyanine derivatives. These novel compounds were characterized by elemental analysis,1H,13C NMR, FT-IR, UV-Vis, and MS. The redox behaviors of these metallo-phthalocyanines were investigated by the cyclic voltammetric method. The optimized molecular structure and gauge-including atomic orbital (GIAO)1H and13C NMR chemical shift values of these phthalocyanines in the ground state had been calculated by using B3LYP/6–31G(d,p) basis set. The outcomes of the optimized molecular structure were given and compared with the experimental NMR values. The photochemical properties including photodegradation and singlet oxygen generation of zinc(II) phthalocyanine were studied in DMSO solution for the determination of its photosensitizer behaviors. 相似文献

Determination of the phase or phase derivative from interferometric fringe patterns is an important task in optical interferometry. The use of wavelet ridges was recently shown to be an effective method for phase retrieval from a single fringe pattern. One necessary requirement in this method is the need for carrier frequency. In cases when carrier frequency is not available, the novel phase-shifting windowed Fourier ridges method can be used. Phase derivatives with the proper sign can be directly retrieved even in the presence of noise. An application for curvature determination from speckle shearographic fringes demonstrates the effectiveness of the method. 相似文献

Miniaturized and tunable optical components, such as the waveguide, lens, and prism, have been of great interest for lab-on-chip systems. This Letter reports an optofluidic aperture stop formed by the liquid-core/liquid-cladding flow. The aperture size can be tuned accordingly by adjusting the flow rates. Manipulation of the aperture size allows control of the amount of light passing through the corresponding optical system as well as the angular aperture on the image side. Optical methods for dynamic stress analysis require fast recording of the fringe patterns representing the stress distribution. Various recording techniques exist using fast framing cameras and short light pulse systems.1 In all of these techniques the wet film processing is tedious and time consuming. Manual data analysis from the fringe patterns is cumbersome. Also, optical processing of the photographs for extracting further information requires complicated optical hardware. Hence, there were efforts from researchers to record the patterns in computer memories. The software image processing methods ease the data analysis and contrast enhancement.2,3 Here we report the use of a special type CCD camera for dynamic applications.
