脉冲泵浦掺镱双包层光纤激光器的动力学研究

对脉冲泵浦的掺镱双包层光纤激光器进行了实验研究.采用重复频率1-10 kHz、脉宽100 μs的976 nmLDs泵浦,实现了脉宽小于10 ns的稳定激光脉冲输出.并对该激光器的动力学过程进行了分析,首次提出了在脉冲泵浦光纤激光器中产生ns脉冲是瑞利散射和受激布里渊散射共同作用的结果.     

高功率隔离器热致退偏分析与补偿设计

针对磁光晶体在大功率光隔离器中的应用,结合实际光学元件参数,利用琼斯矩阵分析了隔离度与入射光功率间的关系。提出基于外置材料,对磁光晶体热致退偏效应的补偿方案:针对两种不同的常见补偿材料,给出了它们的设计参数,并对两种材料的补偿效果进行对比。结果表明,在50 W的光功率下,利用CaF2晶体和SiO2,可分别提高隔离度约15dB和4dB。     

双包层掺Yb3+光纤激光器的关键技术

大功率光纤激光器作为第三代激光器的代表,在激光加工和激光武器方面有着重要应用.介绍了掺Yb3+光纤激光器的发展历程,理论上分析了光纤激光器的泵浦阈值和输出功率,讨论了实验过程中涉及到的大功率LD泵浦、光纤耦合和双包层光纤等关键技术,为同类激光器的改进设计和深入研究提供参考.     

Narrow-linewidth single-polarization frequency-modulated Er-doped fiber ring laser

We demonstrate a 1550-nm narrow-linewidth fiber ring laser with stable single polarization by using single-mode Er-doped fiber as active fiber and saturable absorber. A polarization-maintaining circulator is used to acquire single-polarization laser light with the degree of polarization of 99.8%--99.9%. The linewidth measured using a delayed self-heterodyne method is less than 0.5 kHz. Frequency of the fiber laser can be modulated by driving the waveguide phase modulator with proper voltage. A Mach-Zehnder interferometer with the optical path difference between two arms of about 36 km is used to study the long-distance coherent detection of the fiber laser for frequency-modulated continuous-wave application.     

Dual-wavelength stable nanosecond pulses generation from cladding-pumped fiber laser

In this paper, the generation of dual-wavelength stable nanosecond pulses by a laser diode pumped Yb-doped double-clad fiber laser is presented. In the experiment, the fiber laser with two-mirror cavity is approved which operates in a self-Q-switching regime. The Q-switching mechanism is based on stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS). When the pump power achieves the SBS threshold, the fiber laser changes from the start resonator to the SBS resonator. With different reflectivities of the second mirror, stable dual-wavelength pulses with the pulse width range from 10 ns to less than 2 ns are obtained. The result was explained theoretically by birefringency (including stochastic birefringency and bend birefringency).     

包层泵浦全光纤调Q激光器

本文研究了包层泵浦全光纤调Q激光器。掺Yb光纤为增益介质，光纤光栅和光纤的垂直端面作为腔镜，利用光纤中的受激布里渊散射和光纤干涉环实现了较稳定的自调Q脉冲输出。在连续泵浦方式下得到了脉宽3.6ns、周期约25μs、峰值功率600W的光脉冲。     

高功率光隔离器永磁系统的理论研究与优化

基于Halbach阵列永磁体的特点以及光隔离器对磁场的需求,设计了两种适用于高功率隔离器的永磁系统,分析了其磁场分布、磁场非均匀性对隔离度的影响,研究了磁体装配误差对磁场的影响。研究结果表明:通过引入斜向磁化永磁体,选择合适的磁化角度和磁体长度,可以提高永磁体的磁场强度,大幅度减小旋转器所需磁光晶体长度;受磁场非均匀性影响的隔离度与磁光晶体的孔径、长度以及入射激光的光斑半径有关,当晶体长度一定时,减小晶体半径和入射光的半径可以显著提高隔离度。在入射光半径为1.5mm、磁光晶体半径5mm时,对应的隔离度分别为105.8dB和45.4dB。     

包层泵浦掺镱光纤激光器的理论和实验研究

从包层泵浦光纤激光器的速率方程理论出发,推导出了稳态下包层泵浦光纤激光器的输出功率,斜率效率和阈值功率的解析表达式,进行了数值模拟,对模拟结果进行了简单分析。并进行了实验研究,实验采用中心波长为975nm的激光二级管单端泵浦内包层形状为D型的包层光纤,利用二相色镜和光纤端面反馈构成谐振腔,采用了两套不同的准直耦合系统,得到的最高输出功率为24W,总的光-光转换效率为53.5%。     

A high-efficiency Brillouin fiber ring laser

A high-efficiency Brillouin fiber ring laser is demonstrated using the standard single-mode fiber. The laser exhibits a 3.6-mW threshold. The output power is 22 mW with 40-mW pump power, and the maximum optical-to-optical efficiency is 5570. The output is single wavelength with a 3-dB linewidth of 5 MHz, and the interval of center frequency between the laser and the pump light is 11 GHz （0.088 nm）. It is shown that the stimulated Brillouin scattering threshold of ring resonator is lower and the energy transfer efficiency is higher than those in fiber.     

大模面积掺Yb3+双包层光纤激光器的实验研究

本文研究了在连续泵浦和脉冲泵浦两种情况下, 大模面积（LMA）掺Yb³⁺双包层光纤激光器的输出特性. 采用连续泵浦, 在最大泵浦功率为10.4 W时, 得到了平均功率4.6 W、中心波长1.09 μm的准连续激光输出. 采用脉冲泵浦, 得到了脉宽小于50 ns、峰值功率为5.3 kW、重复频率为5 kHz、单脉冲能量为0.26 mJ的稳定的调Q脉冲输出.
