A simple method is presented to eliminate gray-tracking effects of KTP crystals using a strong focusing scheme. Experimental and theoretical studies on the gray-tracking effects are carried out. 建立了LD预泵浦的被动调Q平平腔Cr4+,Nd3+:YAG微片激光器模型,分析了预泵浦参数与激光脉冲时间特性的关系,设计了LD预泵浦的Cr4+,Nd3+:YAG微片激光器实验,测量了不同预泵浦参数下激光单脉冲以及脉冲序列的时间特性。实验结果与数值计算结果基本符合:调节预泵浦参数使每个泵浦脉冲刚好对应输出单个激光脉冲时,固定脉冲泵浦宽度,脉冲泵浦速率随连续泵浦速率的增加呈一次函数减小;固定连续泵浦速率,脉冲泵浦速率随脉冲泵浦宽度的增加呈非线性函数减小。结果还表明,激光脉冲半高全宽随整体泵浦速率的增加而减小,峰值功率随整体泵浦速率的增加而增加;当整体泵浦速率在阈值附近变动时,激光单脉冲时间特性的变化最为明显。 相似文献

Deep ultraviolet lasers have various applications in industries and scientific researches. For 266-nm ultra- violet (UV) laser generation, the good beam quality of 1064-nm laser and the elimination of gray-tracking effect of KTP crystal are two key factors. Using a dynamically stable resonator design, 1064-nm laser with an average power of 52 W is realized with repetition rate of 16 kHz. The measured M^2 factor characterizing the beam quality is 1.5. By the elimination of gray-tracking effect of KTP crystal, an 18-W green laser is realized with the M2 factor of 1.6. Using a BBO crystal for the fourth harmonic generation, a 1.9-W 266-nm UV laser is achieved. 相似文献

用熔石英棒作为相位共轭镜材料,在LD泵浦的激光MOPA系统中实现了在 100和400 Hz下的受激布里渊散射相位共轭。实验测得重复频率100 Hz时双通放大后的x和y方向的光束质量平方因子分别为1.74和1.66,最大反射率达到24.33% ,脉冲宽度从60 ns压缩到31.34 ns。重复频率400 Hz时双通放大后的x和y方向的光束质量平方因子分别为2.10和2.12,脉冲宽度从56.69 ns压缩到28.84 ns。 相似文献

提出了一种由大口径的熔石英棒和较大芯径的光纤组成的相位共轭镜.在光纤中产生的斯托克斯(Stokes)种子光经由熔石英棒放大后输出.该相位共轭镜可以用于高重复频率激光系统中以改善激光光束质量.实验中,在重复频率100 Hz的情况下,最大获得了42.05%的受激布里渊散射反射率,光束质量从3降低到1.6;在重复频率400 Hz的情况下,光束质量从4降到了1.7.根据实验条件建立的理论模型经数值求解后与实验结果拟合较好,并由理论推导提出了一种提高该复合型相位共轭镜工作状态的有效方法. 相似文献

提出了一种新型的由熔石英棒和石英光纤组成的复合型相位共轭镜,其可运用于高重复频率激光输入系统中以改善光束质量.该复合相位共轭镜具有较高的受激布里渊散射反射率和受激布里渊散射损伤阈值以及较低的受激布里渊散射阈值等优点.实验中,在100 Hz重复频率下,最大获得了42.05%的受激布里渊散射反射率.根据实验条件,由耦合波方程及边界条件得到的物理模型,经数值求解后得到的结果和实验符合较好.且由理论结果提出了一种提高该复合型相位共轭镜工作状态的有效方法.

从一种简单、全光纤结构的混合被动锁模掺铒光纤激光器中,得到了高稳定性、宽光谱的耗散孤子。激光器结合了半导体可饱和吸收体和非线性偏振旋转两种锁模机制,并运行在正常色散区内;通过色散管理,激光器能产生光谱宽度39.1 nm和时域宽度178 fs的孤子脉冲序列。激光输出的中心波长为1.55μm,重复频率约为34.3 MHz,单脉冲能量在0.33 nJ左右。与此同时,激光器的斜效率也约等于15.5%;室温工作下,激光器能实现自启动锁模,且运行在稳定单脉冲输出状态的时长在15 h以上。 相似文献

Influence of spherical aberrations on fundamental mode beam quality under different laser resonators 下载免费PDF全文
Spherical aberrations of the thermal lens of the active media are severe
when solid state lasers are strongly pumped. The fundamental mode
profile deteriorates due to the aberrations. Self-consistent
modes of a resonator with aberrations are calculated by using the
Fox--Li diffraction iterative algorithm. Calculation results show
that the aberration induced fundamental mode beam quality
deterioration depends greatly on the resonator design. The tolerance
of a flat--flat resonator to the aberration coefficient is about
30λ in the middle of stability, where λ is the
wavelength of laser beam. But for a dynamically stable resonator,
2λ of spherical aberration will create diffraction loss of
more than 40%, if inappropriate design criteria are used. A
birefringence compensated laser resonator with two Nd:YAG rods is
experimentally studied. The experimental data are in quite good
