The sine-wave polarographic determination of zirconium in aqueous media was investigated using solutions which were 0.55 – 5.5·10-3M in zirconyl chloride and 1 M in potassium chloride and had been adjusted to pH 2.0 with hydrochloric acid. It was possible to determine zirconium in the concentration range of 0.05 to 0.4 mg per ml. The sine-wave polarographic behavior of zirconium in aqueous solutions in the pH range 2–3 is discussed. The sine-wave polarographic determination of niobium in aqueous media was investigated using concentrated sulfuric acid containing 5 to 0.1 mg of niobium per ml in a supporting electrolyte of citric acid; the determination of niobium was possible down to 0.1 mg of niobium per ml of concentrated sulfuric acid although the D.C. polarographic method was impractical for the determination of less than 0.5 mg of niobium per ml. 相似文献

The sine-wave polarographic determination of small amounts of indium in the presence of large amounts of cadmium, lead or tin was investigated. The determination of indium in cadmium was possible down to 0.01 % in 1 M potassium iodide at pH 2, the determination of indium in lead was possible down to 0.02 % in 1 M potassium chloride at pH 2, and the determination of indium in tin was possible down to 0.3 % in 1 M hydrochloric acid and down to 0.2 % in 2 M perchloric acid with 0.5 M sodium chloride. 相似文献

To study the screening effect of nuclear reactions in metallic environments, the thick target yields, the cross sections and the experimental S(E) factors of the D(d,p)T reaction have been measured on deuterons implanted in Sm metal at 133.2K for beam energies ranging from 10 to 20keV. The thick target yields of protons emitted in the D(d,p) T reaction are measured and compared with those data extrapolated from cross sections and stopping power data at higher energies. The screening potential in Sm metal at 133.2K is deduced tobe 520±56eV. As compared with the value achieved in the gas target, thecalculated screening potential values are much larger. This screening potential cannot be simply interpreted only by the electron screening. Energy dependences of the cross section σ(E) and the experimental S(E) factor for D(d,p)T reaction in Sm metal at 133.2K are obtained, respectively. 相似文献

Bremsstrahlung photons associated with the α-decay of210Po were measured in α-γ coincidence measurements with Si and Ge detectors. Emission probabilities of the bremsstrahlung deduced
for210Po were 10−11∼10−12/keV/sr/decay for 100≤E
γ≤600 keV. It was found that the bremsstrahlung yields are much smaller than those predicted by a Coulomb acceleration model.
This suggests that α-particles also emit photons inside the barrier. The bremsstrahlung spectrum was compared with a quasi-classical
calculation in which the bremsstrahlung emission in tunneling motion of α-particles is taken into account. It is shown that
the data can be interpreted as a consequence of destructive interference of radiative amplitudes outside the Coulomb barrier
