偏氟乙烯／三氟乙烯共聚物介电松弛的结晶度效应

用改进的介电松弛谱仪（精度２‰）测定了ＶＤＦ／ＴｒＦＥ（７／２７、６５／３５、５２／４８ｍｏｌ％）共聚物溶液成膜、液氮淬火、熔融慢冷和热处理试样在－１２０—１３０℃、１０－２一１０４Ｈｚ范围的复数介电常数．介电松弛研究结果显示低结晶度的淬火试样较高结晶度的熔融慢冷和热处理试样的Ｔｃ高．结晶度上升，居里点处的介电常数增大．室温以下的介电频率谱分别由代表非晶区分子运动的β松弛（低频部）和局域运动的γ松弛（高频部）叠合而成．随结晶度提高，β松弛峰减小，γ松弛峰增大；非晶松弛强度减弱．晶区松弛强度增强．     

CONTRIBUTION OF MACROSCOPIC DIMENSION EFFECT TO PIEZOELFCTRICITY IN POLYVINYLIDENE FLUORIDE

In this paper, we have studied the piezoelectricity in the poled uniaxially drawn polyvinylidene fluoride. The piezoelectric constants d_(31), d_(32), d_(33)~αand Young's moduli 1/s_11 and 1/s_(22) have been determined as a function of the remanent polarization Pr. The piezoelectric constants of the samples show a strong in-plane anisotropy. Such an anisotropy is mostly attributable to different Poisson's ratio. It is found that the piezoelectric activity mainly arises from macroscopic dimensional change.     

Challenge to the suppression of tumor growth by the β4-galactosyltransferase genes

It has been well established that structural changes in glycans attached to proteins and lipids are associated with malignant transformation of cells. We focused on galactose residues among the sugars since they are involved in the galectin-mediated biology, and many carbohydrate antigens are frequently expressed on this sugar. We found changes in the expression of the β4-galactosyltransferase (β4GalT) 2 and 5 genes in cancer cells: decreased expression of the β4GalT2 gene and increased expression of the β4GalT5 gene. The growth of mouse melanoma cells showing enhanced expression of the β4GalT2 gene or reduced expression of the β4GalT5 gene is inhibited remarkably in syngeneic mice. Tumor growth inhibition is probably caused by the induction of apoptosis, inhibition of angiogenesis, and/or reduced MAPK signals. Direct transduction of human β4GalT2 cDNA together with the adenovirus vector into human hepatocellular carcinoma cells grown in SCID mice results in marked growth retardation of the tumors. β4GalT gene-transfer appears to be a potential tool for cancer therapy.     

LOW-TEMPERATURE LOW-FREQUENCY DIELECTRIC RELAXATIONS IN VDF(81)/TeFE(19) COPOLYMERS

The complex dielectric constants of ferroelectric copolymers VDF(81)/TeFE(19) with dif-ferent crystallinities have been measured over the range of-120- +40℃ and 10^-2-10^-4 Hz, using an improved dielectric relaxation spectrometer. The low-temperature processes of di-electric relaxation show that the frequency spectra of copolymers below room temperature consist of two parts: a low-frequency component which accords with a WLF equation and is ascribed to the micro-Brownian motions of frozen-in segments in the noncrystalline regions, and a high-frequency component which follows an Arrhenius rule and is designated as the local motions of small-scale segments in the crystalline and/or noncrystalline regions. The calculated results indicate that T_g of copolymers is -52℃ and the activation energy of local relaxation is 37.7 kJ/mol.

用溶液成膜、液氮淬火、熔融慢冷和热处理4种方法制得不同结晶度的VDF/TrFE共聚物试样。在已改进的介电弛豫谱仪(精度由原来的1％提高到2‰)上测得复数介电常数。从结晶度为20％的淬火试样室温以下的介电频率谱中发现了非晶介电弛豫,并由此得到了玻璃化温度与共聚物组分含量的关系。 关键词：     

STUDIES ON THE CHAIN STRUCTURAL EFFECT OF PVDF AND VDF (52)/TrFE(48) COPOLYMER BY MEANS OF THE METHOD OF DIELECTRIC RELAXATION

Through improvements on a fully commercial and automatic system measuring frequency andtemperature spectra of the complex elastic, dielectric, and piezoelectric constants of polymerfilms, the precision for measuring complex dielectric constants achieved 2‰ from original 1%.The complex dielectric constants of PVDF, VDF (95 )/VF (5), VDF (52)/TrFE (48) and VDF(47. 5)/TrFE(47. 5)/HeFP (5) over a range of-120-140℃, 10-2-10~4Hz were measured bythe described system. The diminution of chain regularity due to 5mol% vinyl fluoride in the chainof PVDF led to disappearing of α-relaxation and increase in T_g (3℃) of VDF (95)/VF (5).Because of the spatial impediment of 5mol% HeFP in copolymer chain, the Curie point of VDF(52)/TrFE(48) decreased by 30℃ and T_g by 3℃. The behavior of dielectric relaxation indicatedthat 5mol% vinyl fluoride and HeFP made the relaxation strength of noncrystalline regionreduced, the activation energy of local relaxation increased and the relaxation time prolonged respectively.
