Using real time Feynman histories, a quasi-distribution of tunneling time Q(τ) is introduced. For the tunneling time of resident time type, an explicit expression for Q is shown for square barriers. Q becomes oscillatory as the barrier becomes opaque. Some well-known tunneling times fall within the range of τ where Q takes non-negligible values. The formal “average” and the “variance” of the tunneling time are found to be related to known tunneling times. It is thus demonstrated that the quasi-distribution extracts the temporal information about tunneling from real time Feynman histories.  相似文献

Intramolecular vibrational energy redistributions of the O-H stretching (nuOH) vibration for the methanol monomer and its water complex, the methanol-water dimer, are investigated by using ab initio full-dimensional classical trajectory calculations. For the methanol monomer, in the high-energy regime of the 5nuOH overtone, the time dependence of the normal-mode energies indicates that energy flowed from the initial excited O-H stretching mode to the C-H stretching mode. This result confirms the experimental observation of energy redistribution between the O-H and C-H stretching vibrations [L. Lubich et al., Faraday Discuss. 102, 167 (1995)]. Furthermore, a lot of dynamical information in the time domain is contained in the power spectra, whose density is given by the Fourier transformation of the total momentum obtained from trajectory calculations. For the methanol-water hydrogen-bonded complex, at the high-energy level of the 5nuOH overtone, the calculated power spectrum shows considerable splitting and broadening, indicating significant energy redistribution through strong coupling between the O-H stretching vibration and other vibrations. It is thus clear that the A-H...B hydrogen-bond formation facilitates energy redistribution subsequent to the vibrational excitation of the hydrogen-bonded A-H stretching mode.  相似文献

The Cp(2)Zr-catalyzed hydrosilylation of ethylene was theoretically investigated with DFT and MP2-MP4(SDQ) methods, to clarify the reaction mechanism and the characteristic features of this reaction. Although ethylene insertion into the Zr-SiH(3) bond of Cp(2)Zr(H)(SiH(3)) needs a very large activation barrier of 41.0 (42.3) kcal/mol, ethylene is easily inserted into the Zr-H bond with a very small activation barrier of 2.1 (2.8) kcal/mol, where the activation barrier and the energy of reaction calculated with the DFT(B3LYP) method are given and in parentheses are those values which have been corrected for the zero-point energy, hereafter. Not only this ethylene insertion reaction but also the coupling reaction between Cp(2)Zr(C(2)H(4)) and SiH(4) easily takes place to afford Cp(2)Zr(H)(CH(2)CH(2)SiH(3)) and Cp(2)Zr(CH(2)CH(3))(SiH(3)) with activation barriers of 0.3 (0.7) and 5.0 (5.4) kcal/mol, respectively. This coupling reaction involves a new type of Si-H sigma-bond activation which is similar to metathesis. The important interaction in the coupling reaction is the bonding overlap between the d(pi)-pi bonding orbital of Cp(2)Zr(C(2)H(4)) and the Si-H sigma orbital. The final step is neither direct C-H nor Si-C reductive elimination, because both reductive eliminations occur with a very large activation barrier and significantly large endothermicity. This is because the d orbital of Cp(2)Zr is at a high energy. On the other hand, ethylene-assisted C-H reductive elimination easily occurs with a small activation barrier, 5.0 (7.5) kcal/mol, and considerably large exothermicity, -10.6 (-7.1) kcal/mol. Also, ethylene-assisted Si-C reductive elimination and metatheses of Cp(2)Zr(H)(CH(2)CH(2)SiH(3)) and Cp(2)Zr(CH(2)CH(3))(SiH(3)) with SiH(4) take place with moderate activation barriers, 26.5 (30.7), 18.4 (20.5), and 28.3 (31.5) kcal/mol, respectively. From these results, it is clearly concluded that the most favorable catalytic cycle of the Cp(2)Zr-catalyzed hydrosilylation of ethylene consists of the coupling reaction of Cp(2)Zr(C(2)H(4)) with SiH(4) followed by the ethylene-assisted C-H reductive elimination.  相似文献

It was found that [60]fullerene encapsulated in p-sulfonatocalix[8]arene and single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) solubilized by sodium dodecylsulfate can be readily deposited on the ITO electrode by electrochemical oxidative polymerization of ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) without chemical modification of these carbon clusters. The driving force for the deposition is an electrostatic interaction between the anionic complexes and the cationic charges of poly(EDOT) formed in the oxidative polymerization process. The surface morphology was thoroughly characterized by scanning electron micrograph: the [60]fullerene/poly(EDOT) film is covered by nano-particles with 20-100 nm diameters whereas the SWNTs/poly(EDOT) film is covered by nanorods with several microm length and ca. 100 nm diameter. The results indicate that the anionic complexes act as nuclei for the polymer growth in the oxidation polymerization. Interestingly, when these modified ITO electrodes were photoirradiated, the appearance of a photocurrent wave was observed. The action spectra showed that the photoexcited energy of [60]fullerene or SWNTs is efficiently collected by the electroconductive poly(EDOT) film and transferred to the ITO electrode.  相似文献

Paramagnetic NMR and optical studies of the oxidized forms of mesophile Pseudomonas aeruginosa cytochrome c(551) and its quintuple mutant (F7A/V13M/F34Y/E43Y/V78I), and thermophile Hydrogenobacter thermophilus cytochrome c(552) demonstrated that the amino acid side chain packings in the protein interior influence the coordination bond between the heme iron and the axial methionine in the proteins. An M2L4 coordination capsule or an M2L2 coordination tube was selectively formed by the combination of HgII hinges and bent bispyridine ligands. The two structures reversibly interconvert at room temperature in response to modulation of the metal‐to‐ligand ratio and exhibit different host–guest interaction behavior. The four tunneling times, the Larmor time, the Büttiker-Landauer time, the Bohm-Wigner time, and the Pollak-Miller time, originally obtained from very different physical models, are derived in a unified manner from the Gell-Mann-Hartle decoherence functionals.
