Low-loss and rugged distal tips for CO2 laser have been proposed and fabricated based on a commercially available stainless steel (St) pipe. A method of smoothening the inner surface of the St pipe with a rough inner surface is put forward. Fabrication parameters, transmission properties, and mechanical strength of the cyclic olefin polymer-coated silver hollow St distal tip are experimentally discussed.  相似文献

A compact high-resolution optical heterodyne interferometer combining a two-frequency light module and a minute optical system is described. The light module, which generates two independent frequencies of light, is fabricated by proton exchange method on LiNbO3 substrate. We report an experiment evaluating measurement accuracy using a micro-displacement measurement system which incorporates this interferometer. Results of the experiment with a standard thickness sample show high thermal stability with maximum measurement error of 1.8 nm at a temperature from 19°C to 33°C. The system was used to measure the hysteresis of a piezoelectric element for displacements of several nm, thereby making it possible to analyze the system quantitatively in practice.  相似文献

An improved coating method was proposed in order to form a uniform polymer layer in the fabrication of cyclic olefin polymer-coated silver (COP/Ag) hollow fiber. A COP solution was flowed in a closed loop, in which the silver-coated tube was used as a part of the loop. Owing to the constant flowing speed of the COP solution and the airtight flowing environment, a COP layer was uniformly formed. The hollow fibers attain high performance and deliver multi-wavelength laser light from the infrared to the visible simultaneously. The method was successfully applied to the fabrication of practical hollow fibers with 2 m length for the near and mid-infrared lasers.  相似文献

A practical asymmetric synthesis of a wide-spectrum agricultural fungicide, (S)-MA20565 (1), is described. The convergent synthesis was achieved starting from commercially available 3-(trifluoromethyl)aniline (7) in 44% overall yield through five steps and 2-bromobenzaldehyde (9) in 48% overall yield through four steps, respectively. (S)-O-[1-(3-Trifluoromethylphenyl)ethyl]hydroxylamine (2), a key intermediate of 1, was prepared via ruthenium(II)-catalyzed asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of 1-(3-trifluoromethylphenyl)ethanone (6) followed by chlorination using methanesulfonyl chloride and oxyamination using potassium acetohydroxamate with high level of stereocontrol.  相似文献

Summary The sorption property of water vapor by poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAc) of relatively low glass transition temperature (T g) was studied at temperatures nearT g.Tcg of humidity-controlled samples of various moisture contents was measured and its variation with the moisture content was determined.T g of the dry sample was estimated by dilatometry and DSC methods, and to confirm the value, the temperature dependence of mutual diffusion coefficient of the system of water vapor + PVAc was determined. A difference between the sorption mechanisms of water vapor by PVAc at 20 and 30 °C was observed: two sorption mechanisms are involved at 30 °C, while three mechanisms at 20 °C are involved which include the above two and another intermediate one. In earlier stage of sorption, at both 20 and 30 °C, water molecules sorbed by PVAc showed a tendency towards aggregation, while a mixing effect was found at higher stage of the sorption.
Zusammenfassung In der Arbeit werden Wasserdampfsorptionseigenschaften von Polyvinylacetat mit relativ niedriger Glastemperatur (T g) in der Nähe vonT g untersucht. Es wurden Plastizitätseinflüsse und Veränderungen vonT g mit dem Wassergehalt studiert. Es wurde gefunden, daß bei 30 °C ein 2-Stufen-Sorptionsmechanismus, bei 20 °C ein 3-Stufen-Mechanismus existiert.

The purpose of this study was to determine in a preclinical purging model, how effective crystal violet-mediated photodynamic therapy (CV-PDT) is against solid tumor and drug-resistant mutant tumor cells, and if certain limitations of CV-PDT can be overcome by using crystal violet (CV) in combination with the membrane-active photosensitizer, Merocyanine 540 (MC540). When used under conditions that preserved an adequate fraction of normal human granulocyte/macrophage progenitors (CFU-GM), CV-PDT failed to achieve meaningful reductions of DU145 prostate, H69 small cell lung cancer, and MDA-MB-435S breast cancer cells. Melphalan-resistant L1210/L-PAM1, adriamycin-resistant P388/ADR, and adriamycin-resistant HL-60/ADR leukemia cells were markedly less sensitive to CV-PDT than their wild-type counterparts, whereas cisplatin-resistant H69/CDDP cells were more sensitive than wild-type H69 cells. Sequential exposure to MC540- and CV-PDT under conditions that preserved an adequate fraction (73% and 29%, respectively) of normal CD34-positive hematopoietic stem cells and granulocyte/macrophage progenitors was highly effective against H69 (99.997% reduction) and H69/CDDP (99.999% reduction) cells, but ineffective against HL-60/ADR, MDA-MB-435S, and DU145 cells. CV thus shows only limited promise as a single-modality purging agent. However, in certain situations, clinically meaningful tumor cell depletions can be obtained by using CV in combination with a second photosensitizer such as MC540.  相似文献

The concentrations of l ‐tryptophan (Trp) and the metabolite l ‐kynurenine (KYN) can be used to evaluate the in‐vivo activity of indoleamine 2,3‐dioxygenase (IDO) and tryptophan 2,3‐dioxygenase (TDO). As such, a novel method involving derivatization of l ‐Trp and l ‐KYN with (R)‐4‐(3‐isothiocyanatopyrrolidin‐1‐yl)‐7‐(N,N‐dimethylaminosulfonyl)‐2,1,3‐benzoxadiazole (DBD‐PyNCS) and separation by high‐performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with tandem mass spectrometric (MS/MS) detection on a triazole‐bonded column (Cosmosil HILIC®) was developed to determine their concentrations. The optimized mobile phase, CH3CN/10 mm ammonium formate in H2O (pH 5.0) (90:10, v/v) eluted isocratically, resulted in satisfactory separation and MS/MS detection of the analytes. The detection limits of l ‐Trp and l ‐KYN were approximately 50 and 4.0 pm , respectively. The column temperature affected the retention behaviour of the Trp and KYN derivatives, with increased column temperatures leading to increased capacity factors; positive enthalpy changes were revealed by van't Hoff plot analyses. Using the proposed LC‐MS/MS method, l ‐Trp and l ‐KYN were successfully determined in 10 μL human serum using 1‐methyl‐l ‐Trp as an internal standard. The precision and recovery of l ‐Trp were in the ranges 2.85–9.29 and 95.8–113%, respectively, while those of l ‐KYN were 2.51–16.0 and 80.8–98.2%, respectively. This research presents a simple index-guiding square photonic crystal fibers (SPCFs) that has a silica core surrounded by air hole with two different diameters. It is demonstrated that the designed two-different-size hole-arrayed index-guiding SPCFs has a ultra-flattened chromatic dispersion of 0 ± 0.9 ps/(nm·km) in a wavelength range of 1.34 to 1.61 μm and low confinement loss of less than 10−7 dB/m in a wavelength range of 1.2 to 1.7 μm. It has also been shown that the proposed SPCFs show reasonable dispersion tolerance.  相似文献
