Two bis(bipyridine) polymeric metal nitrate complexes with 4,4’-bipyridine of simple formula like [M(bipy)2](NO3)2⋅xH2O (where M=Co, Ni and Cu; x=4, 2 and 0, respectively) have been prepared and characterized. Their thermal decomposition has been undertaken using simultaneous TG-DTG-DTA and DSC in nitrogen atmosphere and non-isothermal TG in air atmosphere. Isothermal TG has been performed at decomposition temperature range of the complexes to evaluate the kinetics of decomposition by applying model-fitting as well as isoconversional method. Possible mechanistic pathways have also been proposed for the thermolysis. Ignition delay measurements have been carried out to investigate the response of these complexes under the condition of rapid heating.  相似文献

Magnetic and structural data for 28 compounds containing the tetrabromocuprate ion are presented. The parameters which affect the strength and sign of the magnetic superexchange interaction via non-bonding contacts between bromide ions are described and a system for describing the topology of the interaction between tetrahedra is proposed. Analysis of the data suggests that the primary factors affecting the magnetic exchange are the Br?Br distance, the Cu-Br?Br angle and the Cu-Br?Br-Cu dihedral angle.  相似文献

Using 2-amino-5-chloro-3-fluoropyridine, two new copper halide coordination complexes and two new salts have been synthesized: [(3,5-FCAP)2CuCl2] (1), [(3,5-FCAP)2CuBr2](2), (3,5-FCAPH)2[CuCl4] (3) and (3,5-FCAPH)2[CuBr4] (4) [3,5-FCAP?=?2-amino-5-chloro-3-fluoropyridine; 3,5-FCAPH?=?2-amino-5-chloro-3-fluoropyridinium]. These complexes have been analyzed through single-crystal X-ray diffraction and temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility. Compounds 1 and 2 crystallize in the triclinic space group P-1, while 3 and 4 crystallize in the monoclinic space group P21/c. All structures were distinct, with 1 giving a bihalide bridged chain, 2 yielding a halide bridged dimer, 3 forming a two-halide bridged chain via short Cl???Cl contacts, and 4 producing a rectangular sheet via short Br???Br contacts. All four compounds exhibit anti-ferromagnetic interactions and were fit to linear chain (1 and 3), dimer (2), and rectangular 2-D sheet (4) models. The resulting J/kB values are ?3.4(1), ?31.3(8), ?0.9(1), and ?9.46(6)?K with an α value (α?=?J?/J) of 0.06(2), respectively.  相似文献

The synthesis, crystal structure, and magnetic properties (from a combined experimental and First‐Principles Bottom‐Up theoretical study) of the new compound catena‐dichloro(2‐Cl‐3Mpy)copper(II), 1 , [2‐Cl‐3Mpy=2‐chloro‐3‐methylpyridine] are described and rationalized. Crystals of 1 present well isolated magnetic 1D chains (no 3D order was experimentally observed down to 1.8 K) and magnetic frustration stemming from competing ferromagnetic nearest‐neighbor (JNN) interactions and antiferromagnetic next‐nearest neighbor (JNNN) interactions, in which α=JNNN/JNN <?0.25. These magnetic interactions give rise to a unique magnetic topology: a two‐leg zigzag ladder composed of edge‐sharing up‐down triangles with antiferromagnetic interactions along the rails and ferromagnetic interactions along the zigzag chain that connects the rails. Crystals of 1 also present a random distribution of the 2‐Cl‐3Mpy groups, which are arranged in two different orientations, each with a 50 % occupancy. This translates into a random static structural disorder within each chain by virtue of which the value of the JNN magnetic interactions can randomly take one of the following three values: 53, 36, and 16 cm?1. The structural disorder does not affect the JNNN value, which in all cases is approximately ?9 cm?1. A proper statistical treatment of this disorder provides a computed magnetic susceptibility curve that reproduces the main features of the experimental data.  相似文献

Reaction of 4-amino-2-fluoropyridine (2-F-4-AP) with copper halides produced the neutral coordination complexes: (2-F-4-AP)2CuX2 (X = Cl(1), Br(2)). 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pccn in a distorted square planar geometry. Magnetic susceptibility data were fit to the uniform chain Heisenberg model resulting in C = 0.439(6)emu-K/mole-Oe and J = ?28(1) K. 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/m and is closer to distorted tetrahedral. Intermolecular Br?Cu contacts generate a square layer. Magnetic data show very weak ferromagnetic interactions [C = 0.42(1)emu-K/mol-Oe, J = 0.71(2) K]. Similarly, reaction of 2-F-4-AP with copper halides and aqueous HX in alcohol solvents produced the salts (2-F-4-APH)2CuX4 (X = Cl(3), Br(4)). 3 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P-1. Crystal packing reveals short Cl?Cl contacts which generate a structural ladder. However, analysis of the magnetic data suggests that only the rails of the ladder produce a viable magnetic superexchange pathway; the uniform Heisenberg chain model provides C = 0.449(1)emu-K/mol-Oe and J = -6.9(1) K. 4 is isostructural and is also best fit by a chain model [J = ?2.7(4) K]. The brominated complex (2-F-3-Br-4-APH)2CuBr4·2H2O, 5, (2-F-3-Br-4-APH = 4-amino-3-bromo-2-fluoropyridinium) was serendipitously produced as a byproduct of the synthesis of 4 and was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Azide telechelics of poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS), polypropylene oxide (PPO), and polyethylene oxide (PEO) were synthesized from the corresponding epoxy telechelics and characterized. These oligomeric azides were chain extended by reaction with bispropargyl ether of bisphenol A (BPEBA) through a copper‐catalyzed azide‐alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) reaction. PDMS manifested a faster reaction in contrast to PPO or PEO. The chain‐extended polymers underwent cross‐linking above 170°C through thermal cleavage of residual (terminal) azide groups. This was manifested in their rheograms and was further substantiated by FTIR and NMR spectroscopic analyses. Dynamic mechanical analyses of the cross‐linked polymers exhibited characteristic transitions of hard and soft segments, implying microphase separation in the system. Microscopic evaluation of the thermally cross‐linked sample revealed a porous morphology with microsized to nanosized pores.  相似文献

Pure organic molecules based thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) emitters have been successfully developed in recent years for their propitious application in highly efficient organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). In the case of orange red emitters, the non-radiative process is known to be a serious issue due to its lower lying singlet energy level. However, recent studies indicate that there are tremendous efforts put to develop efficient orange red TADF emitters. In addition, the external quantum efficiency (EQE) of heteroaromatic based orange red TADF OLEDs surpassed 30 %. Such heteroaromatic type emitters showed wide emission spectra; therefore, more attention is being paid to develop highly efficient orange red TADF emitters along with good color purity. Herein, the recent progress of orange red TADF emitters based on molecular structures, such as cyanobenzene, heteroaromatic, naphthalimide, and boron-based acceptors, are reviewed. Further, our insight on these acceptors has been provided by their photophysical studies and device performances. Future perspectives of orange red TADF emitters for real practical applications are discussed.  相似文献

Reaction of CuCl2 with 2-amino-5-fluoropyridine and HCl in aqueous solution yields bis(2-amino-5-fluoropyridinium) tetrachlorocuprate(II), (5FAP)2CuCl4, (1). The complex crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with cell dimensions a = 6.926(7) A, b = 21.73(2) A, c = 10.911(10) A, beta = 100.19(2) degrees , V = 1616(3) A3, and R1 = 0.0424 based on 2640 independent reflections. The crystal packing shows that each tetrachlorocuprate ion has four nearest-neighbor Cu(II) ions through three types of Cu-Cl...Cl-Cu potential magnetic interactions: one short Cl...Cl distance (d1 = 3.657 A) and two longer Cl...Cl distances (d2 = 4.073 A) that form a layered distorted honeycomb structure. The third nearest neighbor (d3 = 4.239 A) links these layers into a three-dimensional structure. Both powder and single-crystal magnetic susceptibility measurements on 1, over the temperature range of 1.8-325 K, show significant antiferromagnetic interactions. Attempts to analyze the data using a variety of models showed a best fit to the strong-rung ladder model, with 2Jrung = -17.170(14) and 2Jrail = -5.94(5) K [-11.92(1) and -4.13(3) cm(-1), respectively] for the powder, although a comparable result is obtained using an alternate chain model. However, neither of these two models is compatible with a layered distorted honeycomb crystal packing structure. A first-principles bottom-up theoretical study using the 165 K crystallographic data reproduces the macroscopic properties and reveals that at low temperature the crystal has a 3D magnetic topology (all three magnetic pathways are significant) and a singlet ground state.  相似文献
