The x-ray diffraction intensities of Bragg reflections have been measured at room temperature for thulium selenide, samarium sulphide, samarium selenide and samarium telluride. On the basis of a common amplitude approximation, the Debye-Waller factor, the mean amplitude of vibration and the Debye temperature have been evaluated. The values of the Debye temperatures and mean amplitudes of vibration are 176±16°K, 0·185 ± 0·017 Å (TmSe), 155 ± 7°K, 0·244 ± 0·012 Å (SmS), 153 ± 14°K, 0·221 ± 0·020 Å (SmSe) and 151 ± 20°K, 0·204 ± 0·027 Å (SmTe).  相似文献

Silver nanoparticles of different sizes were prepared by citrate reduction and characterized by UV-vis absorbance spectra, TEM images and photoluminescence spectra. The morphology of the colloids obtained consists of a mixture of nanorods and spheres. The surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and photoemission properties of Ag nanoparticles are found to be sensitive to citrate concentration. A blue shift in SPR and an enhancement in photoluminescence intensity are observed with increase in citrate concentration. Effect of addition of KCl and variation of pH in photoluminescence was also studied.  相似文献

Nanoparticles of CdS were prepared at 303 K by aqueous precipitation method using CdSO4 and (NH4)2S in presence of the stabilizing agent thioglycerol. Adjustment of the thioglycerol (T) to ammonium sulphide (A) ratio (T:A) from 1:25 to 1:3.3 was done during synthesis and nanoparticles of different size were obtained. The prepared colloids were characterized by UV-vis and photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopic studies. Prominent first and second excitonic transitions are observed in the UV-vis spectrum of the colloid prepared with a T:A ratio of 1:3.3. Particle size analysis was done using XRD, high resolution TEM and dynamic light scattering and found to be approximately 3 nm. UV-vis and PL spectral features also agree with this particle size in colloid with T:A of 1:3.3. The band gap of CdS quantum dots has increased from the bulk value 2.4-2.9 eV. PL spectra show quantum size effect and the peak is shifted from 628 to 556 nm when the ratio of T:A was changed from 1:25 to 1:3.3. Doping of CdS with Zn2+ and Cu2+ is found to enhance the PL intensity. PL band shows blue-shift and red-shift on doping with Zn2+ and Cu2+, respectively. UV and PL spectral features of the CdS/Au hybrid nanoparticles obtained by a physical mixing of CdS and Au nanoclusters in various volume ratios is also discussed. Au red-shifts and rapidly quenches the PL of CdS. An additional low energy band approximately 650 nm is observed in the UV visible spectrum of the hybrid nanoparticles.  相似文献

位于藏东南的帕隆藏布流域,处在东喜马拉雅构造结的北缘,是新构造强烈隆升区,断层、褶皱等地质构造发育。在青藏高原隆升及气候变化等内外动力作用下,研究区内堆积体分布广泛,具有独特的工程地质特征并成为该区内地质灾害的主要物源。由于河流的下切及川藏公路的修建,形成了许多高陡的堆积体边坡,以冰碛边坡最为典型。由于其特殊的物源特征及形成过程,冰碛物具有粒度分布范围广、粗粒含量多等与其他沉积物不同的粒度特征。冰碛物粒度分布范围广的特征,导致随着研究尺度的不同,其结构特征也不相同,具有明显的尺度效应。冰碛土的力学强度一般强于其他堆积体,但受不同粒径颗粒的含量及分布、形成时代的影响,其力学特征也有所差异。作者对川藏公路沿线部分典型的剖面进行了量测,所量测的剖面虽然只是整个斜坡的一部分,与经验数据相比,仍表现出高陡的特征,而且很多边坡在既高且陡的形态下仍能保持稳定。本文以极限平衡理论为基础,采用多种方法对这类边坡的稳定性进行计算分析,求出边坡的安全系数。考虑各种地震烈度下边坡的稳定性,得出这些边坡的安全系数与地震加速度具有严格的指数相关关系。  相似文献

The formation mechanism and morphology of Au-Ag bimetallic colloidal nanoparticles depend on the composition. Ag coated Au colloidal nanoparticles have been prepared by deposition of Ag through chemical reduction on performed Au colloid. The composition of the Au(100-x)-Ag(x) particles was varied from x=0 to 50. The obtained colloids were characterized by UV-vis spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The Au(80)-Ag(20) colloid consists of alloy nanorods with dimension of 25nmx100nm. The activity of these nanorods in surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) was checked by using sodium salicylate as an adsorbate probe. Intense SERS bands are observed indicating its usefulness as a SERS substrate in near infrared (NIR) laser excitation.  相似文献

An automatic and efficient technique to analyze the uniformity of nanoscale images using wavelets, feature similarity index measure (FSIM) and fuzzy inference system is reported. It has been successfully tested on scanning electron micrographs of nanocrystalline silver thin films. Thin films are prepared using on‐axis and off‐axis pulse laser deposition (PLD) technique. It is found that the film prepared using on‐axis PLD is more uniformly distributed and has smoother texture compared with that of the off‐axis technique. In order to analyze the images quantitatively, they are transformed to the wavelet domain to extract the localized frequency variations and a uniformity measure is derived using a fuzzy inference system for quantitatively analyzing the uniformity of each image. The surface plot of the FSIM values of the image is found to be an efficient tool for nanoscientists to evaluate the smoothness of the thin film surfaces. Individuals with diabetic foot ulcers have overlapped the inflammatory, proliferative and remodeling phase, making the tissue vulnerable to delayed healing responses. We aimed to establish the dose–response relationship of photobiomodulation therapy of different doses and matrix metalloproteinases in the healing dynamics of diabetic neuropathic ulcers. Diabetes was induced in 126 Albino Wistar rats, and neuropathy was induced to the hind paw by a sciatic nerve injury method. An excisional wound was created on the neuropathy-induced leg. Photobiomodulation therapy of dosages 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 15 J cm−2 and wavelength 655 nm and 808 nm was irradiated. Photobiomodulation therapy of dosages 4, 6 and 8 J cm−2 showed better wound healing properties with optimized levels of matrix metalloproteinases-1 and 8. We observed a strong dose response in the experimental group treated with 6 and 8 J cm−2. The findings from the present study conclude that photobiomodulation therapy of dosages 4, 6 and 8 J cm−2 is suggestive of usefulness in diabetic neuropathic ulcer healing. Markers like matrix metalloproteinases may give a clear direction on response to the therapy. Based on the findings from the present study, we recommend to validate the findings for safety and efficacy in future through human prospective randomized controlled clinical trials.  相似文献

Nanostructured Gd2O3:Eu3+ and Li+ doped Gd2O3:Eu3+ thin films were prepared by pulsed laser ablation technique. The effects of annealing and Li+ doping on the structural, morphological, optical and luminescent properties are discussed. X-ray diffraction and Micro-Raman investigations indicate a phase transformation from amorphous to nanocrystalline phase and an early crystallization was observed in Li+ doped Gd2O3:Eu3+ thin films on annealing. AFM images of Li+ doped Gd2O3:Eu3+ films annealed at different temperatures especially at 973 K show a spontaneous ordering of the nanocrystals distributed uniformly all over the surface, with a hillocks (or tips) like self-assembly of nanoparticles driven by thermodynamic and kinetic considerations. Enhanced photoemission from locations corresponding to the tips suggest their use in high resolution display devices. An investigation on the photoluminescence of Gd2−xEuxO3 (x=0.10) and Gd2−xyEuxLiyO3 (x=0.10, y=0.08) thin films annealed at 973 K reveals that the enhancement in luminescence intensity of about 3.04 times on Li+ doping is solely due to the increase in oxygen vacancies and the flux effect of Li+ ions. The observed decrease in the values of asymmetric ratio from the luminescence spectra of Li+ doped Gd2O3:Eu3+ films at high temperature region is discussed in terms of increased EuO bond length as a result of Li+ doping.  相似文献

Nanostructured titanium dioxide thin films were prepared using reactive pulsed laser ablation technique. Effects of annealing on the structural, morphological, electrical and optical properties are discussed. The structural, electrical and optical properties of TiO2 films are found to be sensitive to annealing temperature and are described with GIXRD, SEM, AFM, UV‐Visible spectroscopy and electrical studies. X‐ray diffraction studies showed that the as‐deposited films were amorphous and at first changed to anatase and then to rutile phase with increase of annealing temperature. Optical constants of these films were derived from the transmission spectra and the refractive index dispersion of the films, subjected to annealing at different temperatures, is discussed in terms of the single oscillator‐Wemple and Didomenico model.
