Crossed molecular beams experiments and classical trajectory calculations have been used to study the dynamics of Ar+ethane collisions at hyperthermal collision energies. Experimental time-of-flight and angular distributions of ethane molecules that scatter into the backward hemisphere (with respect to their original direction in the center-of-mass frame) have been collected. Translational energy distributions, derived from the time-of-flight distributions, reveal that a substantial fraction of the collisions transfer abnormally large amounts of energy to internal excitation of ethane. The flux of the scattered ethane molecules increased only slightly from directly backward scattering to sideways scattering. Theoretical calculations show angular and translational energy distributions which are in reasonable agreement with the experimental results. These calculations have been used to examine the microscopic mechanism for large energy transfer collisions ("supercollisions"). Collinear ("head-on") or perpendicular ("side-on") approaches of Ar to the C-C axis of ethane do not promote energy transfer as much as bent approaches, and collisions in which the H atom is "sandwiched" in a bent Ar...H-C configuration lead to the largest energy transfer. The sensitivity of collisional energy transfer to the intramolecular potential energy of ethane has also been examined.  相似文献

A new, vectorial approach to fast correlation attacks on binary memoryless combiners is proposed. Instead of individual input sequences or their linear combinations, the new attack is targeting subsets of input sequences as a whole thus exploiting the full correlation between the chosen subset and the output sequence. In particular, the set of all the input sequences can be chosen as the target. The attack is based on a novel iterative probabilistic algorithm which is also applicable to general memoryless combiners over finite fields or finite rings. The variety of wide-angle x-ray scattering (WAXS) patterns exhibited by nylon-6 fibers with different fabrication histories is rationalized using a model comprising three limiting structures, viz., an α, a γ, and a pleated α structure. The γ and pleated α structures both have a single broad reflection in the range 2θ = 19° ?25°, but differ in their annealing behavior. At 205° (in vacuo), the pleated α structure converts to the normal α structure by removal of the pleats, without breaking any hydrogen bonds. The γ structure, however, remains unchanged under this annealing condition since it is necessary to break all the hydrogen bonding in the structure to convert it to the α form. Different fabrication routes produce fibers which resemble the three ideal structures to varying extents. Fibers extruded at low speeds (and hence low spinline tension) resemble a mixed conventional α/pleated α structure with only a small γ component. Increasing the take-up speed (and hence the spinline tension) of the as-spun fiber, or in-line drawing of the low orientation fiber (without prior storage), increases the γ content. If drawing of the low orientation fiber takes place after several hours storage (off-line drawing), a largely α structure is produced. The intensity of the 020 reflection in the γ structure is shown to be very dependent on the degree of crystalline orientation in the sample.  相似文献

The reaction of a 2-methoxyarylglyoxalate with a 2,3,6-trifluorophenylacetamide yielded a novel 2-hydroxyaryl substituted bisarylmaleimide (5h). We propose based on X-ray crystallographic evidence that this transformation occurs via formation of a previously undescribed tricyclic ring system (6h). The reactivity of the 2-halo analogues of the arylacetamide (3h) indicated that 2,6-disubstitution facilitated conversion compared to other substitution patterns.  相似文献

Fusion cross-sections for the 7Li + 12C reaction have been measured at energies above the Coulomb barrier by the direct detection of evaporation residues. The heavy evaporation residues with energies below 3 MeV could not be separated out from the α-particles in the spectrum and hence their contribution was estimated using statistical model calculations. The present work indicates that suppression of fusion cross-sections due to the breakup of 7Li may not be significant for 7Li + 12C reaction at energies around the barrier.  相似文献

The alternating step generator is a well-known keystream generator consisting of two stop/go clocked LFSRs, LFSR1 and LFSR2, whose clocks are controlled by another LFSR, LFSR3, which is clocked regularly. A probabilistic analysis of this generator is conducted which shows that the posterior probabilites of individual bits of the first derivatives of the regularly clocked LFSR1 and LFSR2 sequences, when conditioned on a given segment of the first derivative of the keystream sequence, can be computed efficiently in a number of probabilistic models of interest. The expected values of these probabilities, for a random keystream sequence, are derived by an approximate theoretical analysis and are also verified by systematic computer experiments. It is pointed out that these posterior probabilities can be enhanced in a resynchronization scenario and thus used for a low-complexity fast correlation attack on the two LFSRs. More generally, it is argued that even without resynchronization these probabilities may be significantly different from one half for fast correlation attacks based on iterative decoding algorithms to be successful, although with incresead complexity. A related method for computing the posterior probabilities of individual bits of the LFSR3 sequence, when conditioned on both the keystream sequence and the LFSR1 and LFSR2 sequences, is also developed. As these posterior probabilities are much more different from one half, they can be used for a low-complexity fast correlation attack on LFSR3, provided that the initial states of LFSR1 and LFSR2 are previously reconstructed.  相似文献
