Summary
N-butyl-,N-iso-butyl- andN-sec-butyl-2-picolinamineN- oxide complexes have been prepared from copper(II) perchlorate, tetrafluoroborate and nitrate. Violet solids were isolated from the first two salts while complexes isolated from the nitrate salt were blue green or blue. The ligands coordinatevia both theN-oxide oxygen and the amine nitrogen to give bis (ligand) complexes and only in the case of the nitrate solids is there interaction between the copper(II) centre and the polyatomic anion. Resolution of the g feature in the powder spectra of several of these complexes results from the bulkiness of the butyl groups and therefore dilution of the copper(II) centers. In comparison to the previously studied 2 picolinamineN-oxides with lower alkyl substituents, the complexes have stronger in-plane bonding by the ligands.NATO Fellow on leave from Istanbul Medical Faculty, Istanbul University. 相似文献

In this study, experimental and numerical analysis was performed to define thermal deformation inside the head lamp because of usage plastic materials and thermal loads. Buoyancy, radiation and conjugate effects were considered. Velocity and temperature distributions were obtained and possible hot points and condense regions can be determined. In this paper, we suggest and analyze a Krasnoselski-Mann type iterative method to approximate a common element of solution sets of a hierarchical fixed point problem for nonexpansive mappings and a split mixed equilibrium problem. We prove that sequences generated by the proposed iterative method converge weakly to a common element of solution sets of these problems. Further, we derive some consequences from our main result. Furthermore, we extend the considered iterative method to a split monotone variational inclusion problem and deduce some consequences. Finally, we give a numerical example to justify the main result. Hexachlorocylotriphosphazene (1) was reacted with 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde to give hexakis[(4-formyl-2-methoxy)phenoxy]cyclotriphosphazene (2). Hexakis[(4-(hydroxyimino)2-methoxy)phenoxy]cyclotriphosphazene (3) was synthesized by reaction of 2 with hydroxlamine hydrochloride in pyridine. Compound 3 was reacted with benzyl chloride, acetyl chloride, allyl bromide, benzoyl chloride, propanoyl chloride, 4-methoxybenzoyl chloride, 2-chlorobenzoyl chloride, chloroacetyl chloride, methyl iodide, and thiophene-2-carbonyl chloride. From these reactions, full or partially substituted compounds were obtained, usually in high yields. Pure or defined products could not be obtained from reaction of 3 with methacryloyl chloride and O-acetylsalicyloyl chloride. The structures of the compounds were determined by elemental analysis, and IR, 1H, 13C, and 31P NMR spectroscopy. The synthesized compounds were screened for in-vitro antimicrobial activity against two Gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus and Enterococcus faecalis), two gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumonia), and fungal strains (Aspergillus niger, and Candida albicans) by the agar well diffusion method. Few compounds had significant activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. None of the compounds had antifungal activity except compounds 7 and 9, which had moderate activity. 相似文献

Carbon monoxide is an important signaling molecule which is produced by heme oxygenase-1. CO shows antiproliferative activity against cancer cells; hence, activation of HO-1 is a significant inhibition strategy against tumor formation and survival of cancer cells. In this work, manganese-based CO-releasing molecules (CORMs) were designed and synthesized to inhibit breast cancer cell proliferation. Human invasive ductal breast cancer cells (MCF-7) were treated with the synthesized CORMs to investigate the effect of the complexes on breast cancer survival under UV light. In vitro experiments indicated that the complexes inhibited breast cancer cell proliferation, and further, the antiproliferative effects were increased under UV light. Thus, these novel CORMs may provide a drug template for the treatment of invasive ductal breast cancer. 相似文献

In the present work, 4-(4′-dodecyloxycarbonyl) phenoxy phthalonitrile was synthesized and then this phthalonitrile derivative was cyclotetramerized in dodecanol resulting a new metal-free phthalocyanine. The optical properties of this phthalocyanine were investigated. Novel metal-free phthalocyanine thin films were deposited on indium tin oxide-coated glass substrates by spinning method. Surface and microstructural properties of the films were characterized by atomic force microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. Both the transmittance and reflectance spectra of the deposited films were recorded using an NKD analyser. The optical band gap energy, the thickness of thin films, refractive index (n) and extinction coefficient (k) were calculated as 2.7 eV, 300 nm, 1.47 and 0.02, respectively. 相似文献
