Synthesis and molecular structure of 3,7-dimethyl-2-[N-(4-methylpyridyl-2)-4-hydroxy-3-methyl-5-oxopyrrolen-3-yl-2]imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine

Heterocyclization of 2-chloroepoxy-1,1-diethoxy-2.3-butane with 2-amino-4-methylpyridine occurred with participation of all three potential electrophilic centers to give 3,7-dimethyl-2-[N-(4-methylpyridyl-2)-4-hydroxy-3-methyl-5-oxopyrrolen-3-yl]imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine, the structure of which was determined by X-ray crystallography. __________ Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 7, 1089–1094, July 2006.     

Synthesis of New Phosphorylated 1,2,4-Triazole-3-thiones. N,S-Functionalization Methods

New phosphorylated 1,2,4-triazole-3-thiones have been synthesized, and the possibility of their N,Sfunctionalization has been demonstrated. The direction of alkylation of 1,2,4-triazole-3-thiones with ethyl acrylate has been shown to depend on the substituent on the N⁴ atom.     

Synthesis and acylation of O,O-Dihexyl(dioctyl)-[1-hydroxy-3-(ethyl, diethylamino)-2,2-dimethylpropyl]phosphonates

Reaction of dialkyl phosphites with 3-ethylamino- or 3-diethylamino-substituted aldehydes results in the corresponding 3-amino-1-hydroxyalkylphosphonates. The composition and structure of the obtained compounds were confirmed by elemental analysis, NMR spectroscopy and chemical transformations.     

α-Heterosubstituted Phosphites

Available hemiacetals and hemithioacetals of -halo--oxoaldehydes were reacted with phosphorochloridites in the presence of organic bases to obtain previously unknown -heterosubstituted phosphites. It is found that the phosphites, depending on the nature of the carbonyl fragment and the heteroatom, enter intramolecular Perkow reaction or decompose to give unsaturated thioethers and chlorophosphate.
