When run on any non-bipartite q-distance regular graph from a family containing graphs of arbitrarily large diameter d, we show that d steps are necessary and sufficient to drive simple random walk to the uniform distribution in total variation distance, and that a sharp cutoff phenomenon occurs. For most examples, we determine the set on which the variation distance is achieved, and the precise rate at which it decays. The upper bound argument uses spectral methods – combining the usual Cauchy-Schwarz bound on variation distance with a bound on the tail probability of a first-hitting time, derived from its generating function. The influence of low-intensity laser radiation (LLR) on the rheological characteristics of human blood has been investigated. The results of the investigation of the blood velocity in the human skin capillaries, the erythrocyte aggregation time, and the spectral width of scattering intensity fluctuations depending on the irradiation time are presented. It has been shown that laser irradiation leads to a decrease in the degree of aggregation of erythrocytes and, accordingly, to an increase in the velocity of blood microcirculation, which can be used for laser therapy and diagnostics and treatment of cardiovascular diseases (CVD). To explain the results obtained, a method of the LLR–biotissue interaction is proposed.  相似文献

The effect of simultaneous substitution of a fluctuating cation and a divalent cation in LaMnO3 perovskite modifies the properties of the material to exhibit large valence colossal magnetoresistance (CMR) effect. A good example of these properties is (La1−2x Pr x Ca x )MnO3 (LPCMO) type CMR material. In this communication it is reported that, with the increase in x (for x=0.1, 0.15, 0.2), the T c varies between 100 and 120 K with improvisation in metal-insulator transition. Interestingly, resistance increases with x from few hundred ohms to few kilo ohms with corresponding decrease in the unit cell volume. The results of the studies using X-ray diffraction (XRD), electrical resistivity, magnetoresistance and ac susceptibility measurements on LPCMO samples for understanding the structural, transport and magnetic properties are discussed in detail.  相似文献

Poly(methyl methacrylate) electro-spun fibers with embedded nanocrystals of the paradigmatic donor–acceptor nonlinear chromophore para-nitroaniline have been recently demonstrated to be efficient generators of second harmonic light. To understand the influence of the size and local strain experienced by the embedded para-nitroaniline nanocrystals, a Williamson?Hall analysis was carried out on the X-ray diffraction intensity. Both the mean crystal size and strain can be tuned by simple changes in the deposition parameters of flow rate and applied voltage. The observed second harmonic signal is well correlated with the ratio of the fiber diameter to the mean para-nitroaniline crystal size suggesting that surface effects are the main source of the strong nonlinear optical response. Adjusting the electro-spinning deposition parameters when producing polymeric fibers doped with strong nonlinear organic chromophores with high dipole moments has the potential to provide a versatile and efficient method for developing second-order nonlinear optical materials.  相似文献
