A series of newly synthesized dicyanoplatinum(II) 2,2′‐bipyridine complexes exhibits self‐assembly properties in solution after the incorporation of the l ‐valine amino units appended with various hydrophobic motifs. These l ‐valine‐derived substituents were found to have critical control over the aggregation behaviors of the complexes in the solution state. On one hand, one of the complexes was found to exhibit interesting circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) signals at low temperature due to the formation of chiral spherical aggregates in the temperature‐dependent studies. On the other hand, systematic transformation from less uniform aggregates to well‐defined fibrous and rod‐like structures via Pt???Pt and π–π stacking interactions has also been observed in the mixed‐solvent studies. These changes were monitored by UV/Vis absorption, emission, circular dichroism (CD), and CPL spectroscopies, and morphologies were studied by electron microscopy.  相似文献

Eight [Ir(bpy)Cp*Cl]+‐type complexes (bpy= bipyridine, Cp*=1,2,3,4,5‐pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) containing differently substituted bipyridine ligands were synthesized and characterized. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) of the complexes in Ar‐saturated acetonitrile solutions showed that the redox behavior of the complexes could be fine tuned by the electronic properties of the substituted bipyridine ligands. Further CV in CO2‐saturated MeCN/H2O (9:1, v/v) solutions showed catalytic currents for CO2 reduction. In controlled potential electrolysis experiments (MeCN/MeOH (1:1, v/v), Eapp=?1.80 V vs Ag/AgCl), all of the complexes showed moderate activity in the electrocatalytic reduction of CO2 with good stability over at least 15 hours. This electrocatalytic process was selective toward formic acid, with only traces of dihydrogen or carbon monoxide and occasionally formaldehyde as byproducts. However, the turnover frequencies and current efficiencies were quite low. No direct correlation between the redox potentials of the complexes and their catalytic activity was observed.  相似文献

Parallel alignment of dipolar electron‐donor–π‐bridge‐electron‐acceptor entities can strongly enhance their nonlinear optical properties. This favorable arrangement can be in principle achieved by linking these units covalently or through metal coordination. Four dipolar single‐strand chromophores decorated with a 5‐electron‐donor–5′‐electron‐acceptor‐modified 2,2′‐bipyridine functionality were synthesized. For two of these chromophores triple‐stranded dendritic structures were successfully formed. All of the compounds were characterized with respect to their linear and nonlinear optical properties. For the aldehyde derivatives an enhancement of the first hyperpolarizability of 4.5 rather than 3 was obtained when going from single to triple strands. Theoretical calculations with density functional theory suggest that interstrand transitions contribute to the optical properties of the dendritic structures.  相似文献

1H, 13C and 15N NMR studies of iron(II), ruthenium(II) and osmium(II) tris‐chelated cationic complexes with 2,2′‐bipyridine and 1,10‐phenanthroline of the general formula [M(LL)3]2+ (M = Fe, Ru, Os; LL = bpy, phen) were performed. Inconsistent literature 1H signal assignments were corrected. Significant shielding of nitrogen‐adjacent protons [H(6) in bpy, H(2) in phen] and metal‐bonded nitrogens was observed, being enhanced in the series Ru(II) → Os(II) → Fe(II) for 1H, Fe(II) → Ru(II) → Os(II) for 15N and bpy → phen for both nuclei. 利用2,5-双(三氟甲基)对苯二甲酸(H2L)为主配体,氯化锌为金属盐,分别与辅助配体4,4''-联吡啶(4,4''-bipy)和2,2''-联吡啶(2,2''-bipy)通过溶剂热法反应合成了配合物[Zn(L)2(4,4''-bipy)(H2O)]n1)和[Zn(L)(2,2''-bipy)]n2)。通过X射线单晶衍射、红外光谱、元素分析、荧光光谱、热重分析等测试手段对其结构和性质进行了表征与研究。结果表明,配合物1是以Zn2+为金属节点,L2-和4,4''-bipy作为连接体相互连接,形成无限延伸的二维网状结构,层与层之间通过O5-H5B…O1氢键作用有序堆积形成三维结构。配合物2以Zn2+为金属节点,配体L2-上的每个羧基都通过双齿螯合的方式桥联锌离子并无限连接形成三维网状结构。  相似文献

Determining the adsorption configurations of organic molecules on surfaces, especially for relatively small molecules, is a key issue for understanding the microscopic physical and chemical processes in surface science. In this work, we have applied low-temperature ultrahigh-vacuum tip-enhanced Raman scattering (TERS) technique to distinguish the configurations of small 4,4′-bipyridine (44BPY) molecules adsorbed on the Ag(111) surface. The observed Raman spectra exhibit notable differences in the spectral features which can be assigned to three different molecular orientations, each featuring a specific fingerprint pattern based on the TERS selection rule that determines the distribution of the relative intensities of different vibrational peaks. Furthermore, such a small molecule can in turn act as a local probe to provide information on the local electric field distribution at the tip apex. Our work showcases the capability of TERS technique for obtaining information on adsorption configurations of small molecules on surfaces down to the single-molecule level, which is of fundamental importance for many applications in the fields of molecular science and surface chemistry.  相似文献

Two new one‐dimensional (1D) coordination polymers (CPs), namely catena‐poly[[[aquacadmium(II)]‐bis(μ‐4b,5,7,7a‐tetrahydro‐4b,7a‐epiminomethanoimino‐6H‐imidazo[4,5‐f][1,10]phenanthroline‐6,13‐dione)] bis(perchlorate) dihydrate], {[Cd(C14H10N6O2)2(H2O)](ClO4)2·2H2O}n or {[Cd(BPG)2(H2O)](ClO4)2·2H2O}n, 1 , and catena‐poly[[lead(II)‐bis(μ‐4b,5,7,7a‐tetrahydro‐4b,7a‐epiminomethanoimino‐6H‐imidazo[4,5‐f][1,10]phenanthroline‐6,13‐dione)] bis(perchlorate) dihydrate], {[Pb(C14H10N6O2)2](ClO4)2·2H2O}n or {[Pb(BPG)2](ClO4)2·2H2O}n, 2 , have been synthesized using bipyridine–glycoluril (BPG; systematic name: 4b,5,7,7a‐tetrahydro‐4b,7a‐epiminomethanoimino‐6H‐imidazo[4,5‐f][1,10]phenanthroline‐6,13‐dione), a urea‐fused tecton, in a mixed‐solvent system. The CdII ion in 1 is heptacoordinated and the PbII ion in 2 is hexacoordinated, with the CdII ion adopting a pentagonal bipyramidal geometry and the PbII ion adopting a distorted octahedral geometry. Both CPs form infinite linear chain structures which are hydrogen bonded to each other leading to the formation of three‐dimensional supramolecular network structures. Topological analysis of CPs 1 and 2 reveals that the structures exhibit 1D chain‐like arrangements in an AB–AB sequence and shows platonic uniform 2‐connected uninodal topologies. Furthermore, a comparative analysis of a series of structures based on the BPG ligand indicates that the size of the metal ion and the types of counter‐ions used have a great influence on the resulting frameworks and properties.  相似文献
