The reactions of aryllithium reagents o-LiC6H4CH2NR2 with (MeO)2CO afford two new tris(aryl)carbinols bearing pendant-NR2 donor groups in the side chain [o-R NCH C H ] COH [R = Me, R + R = (CH) ]. These alcohols feature helical chirality due to differently inclined aromatic fragments and are presented in a crystalline cell as two M and P enantiomers. Carbinol (R = Me) readily reacts with (Me3SiCH2)3Sc(THF)2 to give a scandium bis(alkyl) complex [(o-C6H4CH2NMe2)3CO]Sc(CH2SiMe3)2 featuring rigid binding of the alkoxy anion through a κ1-O, κ2-N chelating coordination mode  相似文献

Hetero‐bimetallic Fe(II) alkoxide/aryloxides were evaluated as initiators for the ring‐opening polymerization of rac‐lactide. [(THF)NaFe(OtBu)3]2 ( 1 ) and [(THF)4Na2Fe(2,6‐diisopropylphenolate)4] ( 2 ) (THF = tetrahydrofuran) both polymerized lactide efficiently at room temperature, with complex 1 affording better control over the molecular weight parameters of the resultant polymer. At conversions below 70%, a linear increase in molecular weight with conversion was observed, indicative of a well‐controlled polymerization process. Complex 2 is the first example of a dianionic Fe(II) alkoxide and has been structurally characterized to reveal a distorted square planar FeO4 array in which both Na counterions bridge two aryloxide ligands and are further complexed by two THF ligands. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Soluble polystyrenes with crown ether structures and hydroxyl groups adjacent to the macrorings were prepared by the reaction of epoxide-containing polystyrenes with monoaza-15-crown-5 or monoaza-18-crown-6. Rate of formation of the polymer-bound alkali cation-crown alkoxide ion pair from the soluble polystyrenes and aqueous NaOH or KOH depended on the loading of crown ether and hydroxyl units and on the size of the macroring. The elimination of HCl from less reactive 2-chloroethylbenzene with aqueous NaOH or KOH in the presence of the soluble polystyrene catalysts under two-phase conditions was limited mainly by the intrinsic reaction rate. The elimination of HBr from more reactive 2-bromoethylbenzene in the presence of the less (11%) ring-substituted polymer catalyst with 18-crown unit was limited by the alkoxide formation rate. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

The sol-gel processing was applied to the fabrication of PbTiO3 fibers. Pb(CH3COO)2·3H2O and Ti(OC3H 7 i )4 were refluxed with stirring in 2-methoxyethanol to form Pb-methoxyethoxide and Ti-methoxyethoxide, respectively, followed by mixing with stirring in 2-methoxyethanol to form Pb−Ti double alkoxide. The hydrolysis and polycondensation reaction of this double alkoxide gave polymerized products, and as a result the viscosity of the solution increased, suggesting that linear polymers were produced through the hydrolysis and polycondensation reaction. Homogeneous PbTiO3 gel fibers were drawn from the spinnable viscous solutions, which were wellcrystallized into perovskite type PbTiO3 at 650°C. The heat-treated fibers were a few centimeters long and from 10 to 100 μm in diameter. The fiber was made up of extremely uniform grains. Electron diffraction revealed a preferred growth of (101) planes along the fiber axis, which might be due to the linear molecular characteristics of the alkoxide.  相似文献

Heterobimetallic alkoxides are broadly recognized as versatile precursors for luminescence materials, and efforts are being made to develop novel routes by applying the concept of geometrical molecular design, for their synthesis and to design a single source precursor suited to photoluminescent materials. Novel and new series of bimetallic alkoxides has been prepared by metathesis route. They exhibit a lower sensitivity towards hydrolysis and so they are easier to handle as compared to other alkoxides. All the compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR and multinuclear NMR spectroscopies. FT-IR revealed that the molecular structure of these metal alkoxides was retained to a large extent in 4 : 1 halogenated alcohol-benzene solution. The heteronuclear NMR spectroscopy provided useful information about chemical shifts for better understanding the likely structure based on interactions with their coordinate metals. The mass spectra show similar types of fragmentation pattern. SEM-EDS analyses showed consistency with the formulation. XRD patterns show an enhanced homogeneity at high temperature. TGA measurements show that thermal decomposition occured in steps that depended entirely on the chemical compositions and the synthesis routes. SEM observation reveals that the morphology and particle size strongly depend on synthesis routes for their precursors.  相似文献

Inorganic-organic hybrids have been synthesized by incorporation of the inorganic component of Ti(OC2H5)4 into the organic polymer of ethyl cellulose. The inorganic-organic hybrids did not dissolve in toluene used as a solvent for the starting materials. The ethanol was formed as a by-product of the alcoholysis condensation reaction between Ti(OC2H5)4 and ethyl cellulose. These results suggest that ethoxy groups of Ti(OC2H5)4 react with hydroxy groups of ethyl cellulose to form cross-linking bonds of –O–Ti–O–. The reaction of Ti(OC2H5)4 with ethyl cellulose was further investigated by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. The FT-IR spectroscopic experiments revealed that the Ti–O bond state of Ti(OC2H5)4 was changed by refluxing a toluene solution of Ti(OC2H5)4 with ethyl cellulose. The inorganic-organic hybrids have an interesting dielectric property; their dielectric constant is higher than that of ethyl cellulose and that of a simple mixture of TiO2 and ethyl cellulose.  相似文献

Various aluminum alkoxide precursors have been used for the preparation of boehmite by hydrothermal assisted sol-gel processing. The coordination status of aluminum in solution for all precursors employed for the preparation of boehmite phase was determined by 27Al NMR and correlation between coordination status of aluminum atoms of precursors and development of boehmite phase has been investigated. Hydrothermal assisted hydrolysis of aluminum alkoxides where the aluminum atoms are four or five coordinated in solution resulted in the formation of boehmite. In contrast, hydrothermal hydrolysis of aluminum alkoxides where the aluminum atoms are six coordinated resulted in the formation of amorphous gel. Development of boehmite phase by hydrothermal hydrolysis of aluminum alkoxides at various temperatures was pursued by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy.  相似文献

Metalation of (HSiMe2)3CH with lithium diisopropylamide (LDA) in THF gives (HSiMe2)3CLi, which reacts with ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, 1,2-epoxy butane, 1,2-epoxy pentane, 1,2-epoxy hexane, and epichlorohydrin to give the corresponding 1-oxa-2-silacyclopentane derivatives. Then, glycidylmethacrylate (GM) random copolymers with styrene (St) (in a 1:1 and 1:3 mol ratio) were synthesized by solution free radical polymerization at 70(±1) °C using α,α′-azobis(isobutyronitrile) (AIBN) as an initiator. Both types of copolymers were treated with (HSiMe2)3CLi to give new modified copolymers. The reaction of (HSiMe2)3CLi with epoxides on the side chains of the copolymers does not lead to intramolecular nucleophilic attack contrary to simple epoxides. All the products have been characterized by spectroscopic techniques.  相似文献

Double Pore Silica Gel Monolith Applied to Liquid Chromatography   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
Silica gels retaining double pore structure in the size ranges of micrometer and nanometer have been applied to the rod-shaped monolithic column for liquid chromatography. The macropore structure was designed by controlling the phase separation process induced by the hydrolysis and polycondensation of alkoxysilane, whereas the mesopore structure was tailored by the solvent exchange treatments on wet gels. The size exclusion chromatograms on polystyrene standards exhibited almost similar features for octadecyl-modified rod and conventional packed beads columns. The dependence of plate height on the velocity of mobile phase determined for amylbenzene was by far weaker in the rod column than in the packed beads column, suggesting that additional geometrical factors should be considered in describing the separation mechanism in the rod column.  相似文献
