Kinetic energy spectra, charge and angular distributions have been measured with ΔE-E telescopes for over twenty-five identified elements from the reaction 159Tb + 620 MeV86Kr. At all angles and for all observed atomic numbers, the energy spectra indicate the presence of energetically relaxed products in the vicinity of the Coulomb barrier. Elements near the projectile also show a sizable contribution from incompletely damped events at angles close to the grazing angle. The charge distributions are peaked near the projectile Z and demonstrate a strong shape dependence on the angle of observation. The angular distributions show a weakening of the side peaking with increasing proton transfer to or from the projectile. Angular distributions and angle-integrated charge distributions have been calculated with a diffusion model which assumes the formation of a rotating intermediate complex with an l-dependent lifetime. The mass exchange between the two segments of the intermediate complex is treated as a diffusive process which is described by the master equation. Values for the diffusion constant, the overlap of the two density distributions, the mean lifetime of the intermediate complex and the spread in the average lifetime were used which semiquantitatively reproduced data from the 620 MeV 86Kr reaction on 181Ta and 197Au targets. Satisfactory agreement was obtained between these calculations and the data from the 159Tb target. In addition, by increasing the lifetime of the complex by 30 %, the previously measured data for the 107, 109Ag + 620 MeV 86Kr reaction was semiquantitatively reproduced.  相似文献

The tensor analysing powers T20 and T22 of(d, p) reactions leading to several states of the final nuclei 29Si, 68Zn, 91Zr and 209Pb were measured at 12.3 MeV deuteron beam energy. The measured tensor analysing powers together with the vector analysing power and cross-section data are compared with DWBA calculations with and without the deuteron D-state. The D-state effects and j-dependence of the tensor analysing powers are discussed. The spin transfers involved in populating the 1.08, 1.88 and 3.30 MeV states in 68Zn in the 67Zn(d, p)68Zn reaction are deduced to be predominantly 12?. This implies an assignment for the 3.287 MeV level of 68Zn of Jπ = 2+.  相似文献

Partial fission channel widths can be extracted from fission cross-section analysis only up to a rotation in the space of fission vectors. We propose to obtain a physically significant basis for fission vectors taking into account information from other fission characteristics such as the valley-to-peak ratio of the mass distribution and the number of prompt neutrons emitted per fission event. Fission widths and other channel characteristics are calculated for 0+ resonances in low energy neutron induced fission of 239Pu.  相似文献

This paper derives a non-singular integral equation for the three-body problem. Starting from the three-body equations obtained by Karlsson and Zeiger we introduce a set of algebraic transformations that remove all the Green function pole singularities. For scattering energies on the real axis we find a singularity-free momentum-space integral equation. This equation requires only a finite range of momentum values for its solution. In the case of well-behaved two-body interactions, such as the superposition of Yukawa interactions, we prove that the kernels of this equation have a finite Hilbert-Schmidt norm. This same norm provides a general criteria for establishing when the impulse approximation is accurate.  相似文献

The reaction 12C(t, p)14C has been investigated with an 18 MeV triton beam. Twenty energy levels of 14C were identified up to 13 MeV excitation. Angular distributions were measured and compared with DWBA calculations. A previously unreported 0+ level at 9.75 MeV was observed; it undoubtedly corresponds to the second predominantly sd shell 0+ state in 14C. Additional spin and parity assignments have been made in the present work: 9.81 MeV, (1?); 10.43 MeV, 2+; 10.50 MeV, (3?); 10.74 MeV, 4+; 11.40 MeV, 1?; 11.67 MeV, (1?); 11.73 MeV, (5?); 12.58 MeV, (2+, 3?); 12.87 MeV. 2+, 3?; and 12.96 MeV, (1?); none of which had a definite spin and parity assignment previously. Our results confirm the previous information on the level structure of 14C below 8.5 MeV. The cross section for the unnatural parity state at 7.34 MeV, Jπ = 2?, is well reproduced by a two-step reaction calculation. The results are compared with the predictions of a weak coupling model.  相似文献

The attenuation due to the E2 nuclear resonance effect has been measured in hadronic atoms using pions with 111Cd and 112Cd, and for kaons with 122Sn. Energies of the relevant X-ray and γ-ray transitions and of the X-ray cascade intensities have also been measured so as to give a self-consistent set of information. The results are found to be in very good agreement with theoretical calculations.  相似文献

The proton spectral functions of 6Li, 7Li, 9Be and 10B obtained from the (e, e′p) reactions at 700 MeV are presented. The results were analyzed in the distorted-wave impulse approximation, using the shell-model single-particle wave functions consistent with the elastic electron scattering results. The observed Ip proton momentum distributions for the nuclei 6Li, 7Li and 9Be show significant disagreement with the shell-model momentum distributions. The occupation probabilities of the proton single-particle states are around 0.7, with a few exceptions.  相似文献

We have measured the angular distribution of π+ elastically scattered from 12C at E?π = 28.4, 38.6 and 48.9 MeV. The angular range was between 13° and 165° lab. Scattered pions were detected with two counter telescopes which required pion identification through the observation of the decay muon. Data agree well with calculations derived from the free πn scattering amplitudes when absorption effects have been included.  相似文献

A kinematically complete experiment on the reaction 2H(n, p2n) is described, in which both outgoing neutrons were detected at a lab angle of 30° so as to enhance their final state interaction in a region far from interfering reaction mechanisms. The data were analysed in terms of the Watson-Migdal model to obtain two independent values for the neutron-neutron scattering length. We find ann to be ?13.3+3.8?3.1 fm (from a comparison with measurements of p-d breakup), and ? 17.5?4.5+4.0 fm (from the shape of the relative neutron energy spectrum), thus validating the Watson-Migdal model in this kinematic region.  相似文献

Angular distributions for one-neutron and many-nucleon transfer reactions were measured in the systems 17, 18O and 12, 13C at c.m. energies between 12.6 to 14.0 MeV. All the cross sections were analyzed in terms of the full-recoil finite-range DWBA model. For multi-nucleon transfer processes an inert cluster transfer was assumed. The sensitivity of DWBA calculations to various parameter sets is discussed, and the effect of the no-recoil approximation on the phase and magnitude of the transfer amplitude is studied. For one-neutron transfer reactions the forward part of the angular distributions was reproduced reasonably well by the DWBA model, yielding satisfactory spectroscopic information. The rise of the cross section at the backward angles was not reproduced by the DWBA model. Possible contributions of cluster-exchange and compound-nucleus reactions are discussed. For multi-nucleon transfer reactions poorer fits were obtained, particularly in the 18O+12C system.  相似文献
