The crystal structure of the complex [{Fe(bt)(NCS)(2)}(2)bpym] (1) (bt=2,2'-bithiazoline, bpym=2,2'-bipyrimidine) has been solved at 293, 240, 175 and 30 K. At all four temperatures the crystal remains in the P space group with a=8.7601(17), b=9.450(2), c=12.089(3) A, alpha=72.77(2), beta=79.150(19), gamma=66.392(18) degrees , V=873.1(4) Angstrom(3) (data for 293 K structure). The structure consists of centrosymmetric dinuclear units in which each iron(II) atom is coordinated by two NCS(-) ions in the cis position and two nitrogen atoms of the bridging bpym ligand, with the remaining positions occupied by the peripheral bt ligand. The iron atom is in a severely distorted octahedral FeN(6) environment. The average Fe--N bond length of 2.15(9) Angstrom indicates that compound 1 is in the high-spin state (HS-HS) at 293 K. Crystal structure determinations at 240, 175 and 30 K gave a cell comparable to that seen at 293 K, but reduced in volume. At 30 K, the average Fe--N distance is 1.958(4) Angstrom, showing that the structure is clearly low spin (LS-LS). At 175 K the average Fe--N bond length of 2.052(11) Angstrom suggests that there is an intermediate phase. M?ssbauer investigations of the light-induced excited spin state trapping (LIESST) effect (lambda=514 nm, 25 mW cm(-2)) in 1 (4.2 K, H(ext)=50 kOe) show that the excited spin states correspond to the HS-HS and HS-LS pairs. The dynamics of the relaxation of the photoexcited states studied at 4.2 K and H(ext)=50 kOe demonstrate that HS-HS pairs revert with time to both HS-LS and LS-LS configurations. The HS-LS photoexcited pairs relax with time back to the ground LS-LS configuration. Complex [{Fe(0.15)Zn(0.85)(bt)(NCS)(2)}(2)bpym] (2) exhibits a continuous spin transition centred around 158 K in contrast to the two-step transition observed for 1. The different spin-crossover behaviour observed for 2 is due to the decrease of cooperativity (intermolecular interactions) imposed by the matrix of Zn(II) ions. The search for new anti-inflammatory drugs has been constant in several research centers. The use of the Bioisostery concept allows the elaboration of new bioactive compounds with different properties through the introduction of substitute groups in one or more positions of a main molecule with known biological activity. Preliminary works accomplished at our laboratory with 2,4-thiazolidinedione isosters demonstrated inhibitory activity on edema formation for N-tryptophyl-5-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzylidene)-2,4-thiazolidinedione (GS28) and N-tryptophyl-5-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzylidene) rhodanine (GS26). We verified the antiedematogenic and ulcerogenic activity of these two compounds in Wistar rats. The carrageenan induced paw edema suffered significant (p<0.05) inhibition (28.36% on average) for GS28 (100 mg/kg; v.o.) during the entire time of the experiment. GS26 (50 and 100 mg/kg; v.o.) significantly inhibited (p<0.05) the paw edema dextran induced (22.1 and 27.8%, for the respective doses) after 180 min. The compounds GS26 and GS28 did not show ulcerogenic activity on gastric mucous. The results suggest antiedematogenic action for both compounds without the appearance of gastric lesions. 相似文献

The reactions of methylacetoacetate and ethyl 2-methylacetoacetate thiosemicarbazones (H(2)L(A) and H(2)L(B), respectively) with [ReX(CO)(5)] and [ReX(CO)(3)(CH(3)CN)(2)] (X = Cl, Br) were explored under various experimental conditions. Besides the adducts fac-[ReX(CO)(3)(H(2)L)], in which the rhenium is coordinated to three carbonyl groups, the X anion, and the N,S-bidentate thiosemicarbazone ligand, the following complexes were also isolated: fac-[ReBr(CO)(3)(Hpyz(B))], the tetrameric complexes fac-[Re(pyz(A))(CO)(3)](4) and fac-[Re(pyz(B))(CO)(3)](4), and fac-[Re(pyz(B))(CO)(3)(H(2)O)] (where Hpyz(A) and Hpyz(B) are pyrazolones derived by cyclization of H(2)L(A) and H(2)L(B), respectively). The cyclization reactions were monitored by (1)H NMR spectroscopy and the complexes isolated were identified by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, IR and (1)H NMR spectroscopy, and in some cases by X-ray diffractometry. The isolation and the full structural identification of the rather unusual fac-[ReBr(CO)(3)(Hpyz(B))], which contains the enol form of the pyrazolone ligand, affords new insight into the cyclization of thiosemicarbazones derived from beta-keto esters. 相似文献

A new method has been developed for measuring local adsorption rates of metal ions at interfaces based on scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM). The technique is illustrated with the example of Ag+ binding at Langmuir phospholipid monolayers formed at the water/air interface. Specifically, an inverted 25 microm diameter silver disc ultramicroelectrode (UME) was positioned in the subphase of a Langmuir trough, close to a dipalmitoyl phosphatidic acid (DPPA) monolayer, and used to generate Ag+ via Ag electro-oxidation. The method involved measuring the transient current-time response at the UME when the electrode was switched to a potential to electrogenerate Ag+. Since the Ag+/Ag couple is reversible, the response is highly sensitive to local mass transfer of Ag+ away from the electrode, which, in turn, is governed by the interaction of Ag+ with the monolayer. The methodology has been used to determine the influence of surface pressure on the adsorption of Ag+ ions at a phospholipid (dipalmitoyl phosphatidic acid) Langmuir monolayer. It is shown that the capacity for metal ion adsorption at the monolayer increased as the density of surface adsorption sites increased (by increasing the surface pressure). A model for mass transport and adsorption in this geometry has been developed to explain and characterise the adsorption process. 相似文献

Five bis(tert-butylnitroxide) diradicals connected by a silole (7 a-d) or a thiophene (12) ring as a coupler were studied. Compound 12 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pna2(1) with a = 20.752(5), b = 5.826(5), and c = 34.309(5) A. X-ray crystal structure determination, electronic spectroscopy, variable-temperature EPR spectroscopy, SQUID measurements and DFT computations (UB3LYP/6-31+G*) were used to study the molecular conformations and electronic spin coupling in this series of molecules. Whereas compounds 7 b, 7 c, and 7 d are quite stable both in solution and in the solid state, 7 a and 12 undergo a partial electronic rearrangement to both a diamagnetic quinonoidal form and a monoradical species owing to the fact that they correspond to the open form of a pi-conjugated Kekulé structure. In the solid state, magnetic measurements indicate that the diradicals are all antiferromagnetically coupled, as expected from their topology. These interactions are best reproduced by means of a "Bleaney-Bowers" model that gives values of J = -142.0 cm(-1) for 7 a, -1.8 cm(-1) for 7 b, -1.3 cm(-1) for 7 c, -4.2 cm(-1) for 7 d, and -248.0 cm(-1) for 12. The temperature dependence of the EPR half-field transition in frozen dichloromethane solutions is consistent with singlet ground states and thermally accessible triplet states for diradicals 7 b, 7 c, and 7 d with DeltaE(T-S) values of 3.48, 2.09, and 8 cm(-1), respectively. No evidence of a populated triplet state was found for diradicals 7 a and 12. Similarities between the DeltaE(T-S) and J values (DeltaE(T-S) = -2 J) clearly show the intramolecular origin of the observed antiferromagnetic interaction. Analyses of the data with a "Karplus-Conroy"-type equation enabled us to establish that the silole ring, as a whole, allows a more efficient magnetic coupling of the two nitroxide radicals attached to its 2,5-positions than the thiophene ring. This superiority probably originates from the nonaromaticity of the silole which thus permits a better magnetic interaction through it. DFT calculations also support the experimental results, indicating that the magnetic exchange pathway preferentially involves the carbon pi system of the silole. 相似文献

Cyclization reactions of group 6 Fischer carbene complexes with cyclopentanone and cyclohexanone enamines are described. Enamine 3a undergoes thermal alpha,beta,beta'-annulation with alkenylcarbene complexes 1 and 2 (THF, 60 degrees C), affording semibullvalenes 5. The metalate intermediates 6, resulting from beta,beta'-annulation of the enamines 3a and 4a, were quantitatively formed by running the reaction in hexane at room temperature. Acid-promoted demetalation of 6 afforded endo-2-bicyclo[3.2.1]octen-8-ones 7 and endo/exo-2-bicyclo[3.3.1]nonen-9-ones 8 (endo/exo = 5:1). Using (S)-methoxymethylpyrrolidine-derived enamines 3b and 4b,c allowed highly enantioenriched cycloadducts endo-(+)-7 as well as endo-(-)-8 and exo-(-)-8 to be accessed. The non-heteroatom-stabilized carbene complex 10 was formed from complex 6 by Me(3)SiOTf-promoted elimination of the methoxy group, characterized by (13)C NMR, and transformed into the organic compounds 7, 7-d, and 11 as well as into bicyclo[3.2.1]octan-2,8-diones 14 and cycloheptanones 15. On the basis of this sequence, enantioenriched cycloheptanones (+)-15 were efficiently prepared in one pot from carbene complexes 2 and enamine 3b (51-55% yield, 91-96% ee). Extension of this work to simple Fischer carbene complexes 16 allowed an appropriate way to generate the nonstabilized pentacarbonyl[(phenyl(alkyl)carbene]tungsten complex 17 to be designed, for which the thermal and chemical behavior leading to compounds 18-21 is described. 相似文献

Titanium complexes with chelating alkoxide ligands [TiCp*(O(2)Bz)(OBzOH)] (1) and [TiCp*(Me)((OCH(2))(2)Py)] (2) were synthesised by reaction of [TiCp*Me(3)] (Cp*=eta(5)-C(5)Me(5)) with 2-hydroxybenzyl alcohol ((HO)(2)Bz) and 2,6-pyridinedimethanol ((HOCH(2))(2)Py), respectively. Complex 1 reacts with [(M(mu-OH)(cod))(2)] (M=Rh, Ir) to yield the early-late heterobimetallic complexes [TiCp*(O(2)Bz)(2)M(cod)] [M=Rh (3), Ir (4)]. Carbon monoxide readily replaces the COD ligand in 3 to give the rhodium dicarbonyl derivative [TiCp*(O(2)Bz)(2)Rh(CO)(2)] (5). Compound 2 reacts with [(M(mu-OH)(cod))(2)] (M=Rh, Ir) with protonolysis of a Tibond;Me bond to give [TiCp*((OCH(2))(2)Py)(mu-O)M(cod)] [M=Rh (6), Ir (7)]. The new complex trans-[NCRu(py)(4)(CN)Ru(py)(4)NO](PF(6))(3) (I) was synthesized. In acetonitrile solution, I shows an intense visible band (555 nm, epsilon = 5800 M(-1) cm(-1)) and other absorptions below 350 nm, associated with d(pi) --> pi(py) and pi(py) --> pi(py) transitions. The visible band is presently assigned as a donor-acceptor charge transfer (DACT) transition from the remote Ru(II) to the delocalized [Ru(II)-NO(+)] moiety. Photoinduced release of NO is observed upon irradiation at the DACT band. Application of the Hush model reveals strong electronic coupling, with H(DA) = approximately 2000 cm(-1). The difference between the optical absorption energy and redox potentials for the donor and acceptor sites (Ru(III,II), 1.40 V, and NO(+)/NO, 0.50 V, vs Ag/AgCl, 3 M KCl, respectively) (hnu - DeltaE(red)) is 1.33 eV, a large value which probably relates to the significant changes in distances and angles for the Ru-N-O moiety upon reduction. UV-vis absorptions, IR frequencies, and redox potentials are solvent-dependent. Controlled potential reduction (of NO(+)) and oxidation (of Ru(II) associated with the dicyano-chromophore) of I afford stable species, [NCRu(II)(py)(4)(CN)Ru(py)(4)NO](2+) (I(red)) and [NCRu(III)(py)(4)(CN)Ru(py)(4)NO](4+) (I(ox)), respectively, which are characterized by UV-vis and IR spectroscopies. I(red) shows an EPR spectrum characteristic of [Ru(II)-NO(*)] complexes. Compound I is electrophilically reactive in aqueous solution above pH 5: values of the equilibrium constant for the reaction [NCRu(py)(4)(CN)Ru(py)(4)NO](3+)+ 2 OH(-) <--> [NCRu(py)(4)(CN)Ru(py)(4)NO(2)](+) + H(2)O, K = 3.2 +/- 1.4 x 10(15) M(-2), and of the rate constant for the nucleophilic addition of OH(-), k = 9.2 +/- 0.2 x 10(3) M(-1) s(-1)(25 degrees C, I = 1 M), are obtained, with DeltaH = 90.7 +/- 3.8 kJ mol(-1) and DeltaS = 135 +/- 13 J K(-1) mol(-1). The oxidized complex, I(ox), shows an enhanced electrophilic reactivity toward OH(-). This addition reaction is followed by irreversible processes, which most probably lead to disproportionation of bound nitrite and other products. 相似文献

[reaction: see text] The intramolecular Diels-Alder cycloaddition reaction (IMDAF) of several N-phenylsulfonylindolyl-substituted furanyl carbamates containing a tethered pi-bond on the indole ring were examined as an approach to the iboga alkaloid catharanthine. Only in the case where the tethered pi-bond contained two carbomethoxy groups did the [4 + 2]-cycloaddition occur. Push-pull dipoles generated from the Rh(II)-catalyzed reaction of diazo imides, on the other hand, undergo successful intramolecular 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition across both alkenyl and heteroaromatic pi-bonds to provide novel pentacyclic compounds in good yield and in a stereocontrolled fashion. The facility of the cycloaddition was found to be critically dependent on conformational factors in the transition state. Ligand substitution in the rhodium(II) catalyst markedly altered the product ratio between [3 + 2]-cycloaddition and intramolecular C-H insertion. The variation in reactivity reflects the difference in electrophilicity between the various rhodium carbenoid intermediates. Intramolecular C-H insertion is enhanced with the more electrophilic carbene generated using Rh(II) perfluorobutyrate. 相似文献

Properties of the liquid-vapor interface of square-well fluids with ranges of interaction lambda=1.5, 2.0, and 3.0 are obtained by Monte Carlo simulations and from square-gradient theories that combine the Carnahan-Starling equation of state for hard spheres with the second and third virial coefficients. The predicted surface tensions show good agreement with the simulation results for lambda=2 and for lambda=3 in a temperature range reasonably close to the critical point, 0.8=T/T(c)=0.95. As expected, the surface tension increases with the range of interaction and decreases monotonically with temperature. A comparison between theory and simulation results is also given for the width of the interface and for the coexistence curves for the different interaction ranges. 相似文献
