图的k-单圈划分中的优化问题

图的划分问题曾引起图论界的广泛关注，在文献[4]中讨论了k-单圈划分，本文进一步研究基于k-单圈划分的优化问题，即在一个赋权图中求一个最小权可k-单圈划分的支撑子图，以及对一个不存在k-单圈划分支撑子图的图，如何添最少的边使得它有k-单圈划分的支撑子图。     

Universal Overconvergence of Polynomial Expansions of Harmonic Functions

For each compact subset K of ^N let (K) denote the space of functions that are harmonic on some neighbourhood of K. The space (K) is equipped with the topology of uniform convergence on K. Let Ω be an open subset of ^N such that 0Ω and ^N\Ω is connected. It is shown that there exists a series ∑H_n, where H_n is a homogeneous harmonic polynomial of degree n on ^N, such that (i) ∑H_n converges on some ball of centre 0 to a function that is continuous on Ω and harmonic on Ω, (ii) the partial sums of ∑H_n are dense in (K) for every compact subset K of ^N\Ω with connected complement. Some refinements are given and our results are compared with an analogous theorem concerning overconvergence of power series.

The tendency of boron-containing, iron-based glasses to show non monotonic changes of Curie Temperature (T _c ) and room temperature saturation magnetization (SM) was examined by magnetic measurements and Mossbauer spectroscopy. Depending on B/Fe ratio theT _c and SM first increased up to a maximum value and then steadily decreased, probably because of a shortrange ordering, due to the strong chemical interaction between iron and boron atoms, leading iron atoms in vicinity with Fe-atoms rather than another TM-atom. Finally, the phenomenon becomes analogous to the order-disorder phenomenon in crystalline alloys. An observed unusual crystallization behaviour, consisting of heterogeneous nucleation, was also ascribed to this ordering, which leads to the formation of associations, acting as the first nuclei of crystallization.     

Weierstrass Points and Regular Maps

It was shown by G. A. Jones and the first author in [8] that underlying any map on a compact orientable surface S there is a natural complex structure making S into a Riemann surface. In this paper we consider regular maps and enquire about the Weierstrass points on the underlying Riemann surface. We are particularly interested to know when these are geometric, i.e. whether they lie at vertices, face-centres or edge-centres of the map.

研究了条件泛函及其导数的非参数估计,对随机与固定设计的条件泛函,分别利用核估计和非参数加权估计,在核函数及权函数满足一定条件下,证明了估计一致强收敛于待估函数的速度可达到最优。从而进一步推广和发展了Hrdle,etal.(1988)、Severini,etal.(1992)的许多结果。     

Patterned uniformly orientated silicon nanocrystallite films and efficient field emission characteristics

Patterned uniformly (100)-orientated silicon nanocrystallite (SiNC) films were fabricated based on hydrogen ion implantation technique and typical electrochemical anodic etching method. The surface morphology and microstructure characteristics of the films were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and atomic force microscopy. The efficient field emission with low turn-on field of about 3.2 V/μm at current density of 0.1 μA/cm² was obtained. The emission current density from the SiNC films reached 1 mA/cm² under a bias field of about 11 V/μm. The experimental results demonstrate that the SiNC films have great potential applications for flat panel displays.     

The effect of Fe and Ru substitution on the superconductivity in MgCNi3

We report the effects of partial substitutions of the VIIIa elements: Fe (3d) and Ru (4d) in the intermetallic perovskite superconductor MgCNi₃. In both the MgCNi_3−xRu_x and MgCNi_3−xFe_x systems, the superconducting critical temperature (T_C) decreases monotonically as x is increased. T_C decreases more slowly in the case of Ru, suggesting that the 3d electrons in Fe are magnetically pair breaking. This is supported by the normal state magnetic susceptibility measurements (χ), which shows that χ increases with Fe and decreases with Ru doping. No ferromagnetism is observed in either system.     

Polaron effects on third-harmonic generation in cylindrical quantum-well wires

Polaron effects on third-harmonic generation (THG) in cylindrical quantum wires with a finite confining potential are investigated. The THG coefficient is obtained by using the compact-density-matrix approach and an iterative method, and the numerical results are presented for GaAs/AlAs cylindrical quantum wires. The results show that the THG coefficient is greatly enhanced and the peak shift to the aspect of high energy when considering the influence of electron-phonon interaction.
